b. Kings Electronics Company produces two products: DVD player, and VCD player. The
production process for each product is similar in that both require a certain number of hours of
electronic work, a certain number of labour-hours and a certain amount of material resources in
the assembly department. Each DVD takes 3 hours of electronic work, 4 hours in the
assembly
shop and 6 tons of materials. Each VCD takes 5 hours of electronic work, 2 hours in
the
assembly shop and 8 tons of materials. During the current production period, 500 hours
of
electronic time are available, 350 hours of assembly department time are available and

of materials are available. Each DVD sold yields a profit of £ 8 and each VCD player is sold
