Language options available in CBSE campus @ Doddakalasandra

The Kannada Language Learning Act, 2015, made it compulsory for schools in the
state, irrespective of the board they are affiliated to, to teach Kannada in CBSE and
ICSE schools as a second language. The law made it mandatory for schools in
Karnataka to teach Kannada as a compulsory language from the academic session of
2017-18 from Class I. As per this order, children until Class V of this academic session
(2021-22) learn Kannada as a compulsory language.

We teach Hindi and Kannada for children in Classes I to III, and the level of difficulty
is the same for both languages. At Class IV, children need to choose another
language, and we provide options for children to choose any one of the languages.

Classes
Class 1 – We have very limited seats at Doddakallsandra Campus.
The online application for Class 1 will be kept open for filling
and saving from 7th January 2022 (10 am onwards) to 14th
January 2022.

Steps to register, fill & save the application

1. Click on the link "Click here to apply online" under

"Admissions 2022" on the homepage of the website.
2. Register on Edchemy with a valid email address,
mobile number and password.
3. An OTP to activate the account will be sent to the
email id used for registration.
4. Please enter your user name and OTP as received in
SMS. Choose a password and click verify button to
activate your account.
5. Log on to Edchemy.kumarans.org. Key in the
username and password.
6. Select the application form, fill in all the details, save
the form, and upload all the required documents.

List of documents required to be uploaded:

• Passport size photo of the child
• Copy of the Birth Certificate of the child
• Copy of the Child's Aadhar Card
• Copy of the front page of the Passport - only if the
child is a foreign national and holds a foreign
passport.
Following applications will be rejected immediately:

• Saved but not submitted applications

• Incomplete applications.
• Any discrepancy between the date of birth entered
in the application and the date of birth in the
certificate.

The online application forms for classes II to IX will be
available on our website, depending on the vacancies,
from 18th March 2022 (10 am onwards) to 19th March
2022.
Steps to register, fill & save the application
1. Click on the link "Click here to apply online" under
"Admissions 2022" on homepage of the website.
2. Register on edchemy.kumarans.org with a valid email
