I. Aims
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to get used to the knowledge of :
1.Vocabulary: collocations with do/go/play, words related to lifestyles
2.Structure: present simple, present continuous
3. Skills ( i.e practical skill, communicative skill, critical skill,….)
Ask and answer about hobbies, free time activities, lifestyles
Ask and answer about actions happening at the moment of speaking.
II. Teaching methods:
Eliciting, modeling, communicative approach (through pair work, group work and student-
teacher interaction).
III. Preparation
Teacher: Textbook, laptop, overhead projector, lesson plans.
Students: Textbook and workbook.
IV. Learning activities
A. Warming-up:
Ask students to look at picture in page 12 and elicit about the implication of the photo
Questions: Who is the oldest person you know?
How old are they?
How healthy is their lifestyle?
Do you know where Okinawa is?
What is this place famous for?
B. Teaching procedure

Ask Ss to work in pairs
Take turns to ask and answer questions using present simple and present continuous tense
Questions can be changed to match with their partner’s lifestyle:
What course are you studying now?
Do you often watch films?...
