We dedicate our project to honor Ma’am Saira Bano because throughout our semester. This is
the best opportunity for us to learn about the quality of products. We are highly thankful to
ma’am for giving this opportunity.
Executive summary:
We conduct a comparison of KFC and McDonald’s and we find out that McDonald’s is
best in their business. But KFC is not doing better they just serve and don’t think and focus on
their quality of their product. They have to focusing on it because they need to be better in
their business. They need to be highly cooperative with their customers and should provide
high quality with less prices.
Overview of KFC
KFC’s mission has received one of the lowest scores in all of our evaluations so far. The
statement is clearly too short and lacks 7 out of 9 essential components: customers, markets,
technology, concern for survival, self-concept, concern for employees and public image. The
statement only reveals one value – friendly environment, but doesn’t mention any of the 4
values used by the world’s best performing companies. Their mission is product-oriented, which
is a drawback for any mission compared to customer-oriented statement. Product-oriented
missions tend to focus on certain products and services rather than on satisfying customers’
needs or solving their problems. They offer less flexibility for the company to expand into other
product markets. In overall, KFC does a poor job in utilizing their mission as a communication
tool to present important business information to company’s stakeholders.
KFC is one cooperation company that we also know as Kentucky Fried Chicken and it is
one of the very famous chains of fast food restaurant.
In Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, it exceeds 540 outlets.
KFC is one of the largest businesses of food service in world.
KFC is a part of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company in terms of
system restaurants, with more than 36,000 locations around the world.
The company is ranked #239 on the Fortune 500 List, with revenues in excess of $11
billion in 2008.
KFC was acquired by PepsiCo in 1986, it had grown to approximately 6,600 units in 55
countries and territories. The business of KFC primary most is the food made by chicken
like the chicken nuggets, fried chicken, chicken burger and so on.

McDonald’s and KFC are two of the most prominent fast food chains cherished by numerous
around the globe. In the matter of burgers, McDonald’s is dependably the top choice while in
terms of seared chicken; KFC is dependably the first thing that springs to mind. The explanation
behind this is on the grounds that the very results of these two chains have turned into their
trademarks and in this way, their personalities. The contrast in McDonald’s and KFC boils down
to for the most part the cooking that they serve.

Customers are unsatisfied about KFC because of High prices and cheap quality they serve.

Plan:
Determine the cost of different product as compared with others and your cost will be lower
than competitors. And we should focusing on customers because the primary purpose of our
brand is to serve better to our customers with low prices. McDonald is fulfill all the customer
needs and customer is satisfied about the McDonalds but KFC show something and serve
different they are not doing according to their plan. They have to work on it. They should doing
everything with plan and serve better to their customer and gain their reputation in the
economy.
Study others:
Evaluate to their competitors with our product and took a research on it and we conduct some
data and them implement on himself for the betterment of our product quality. Because quality
is the basic and most important part of product.
KFC has a plan but their plan is not going well they are not Focusing on customer
because of this they should evaluate to their customers and work on him plan.
They should improve their quality.
Reduced the cost by serving better.
Customers should satisfy by them.
Increase their parking range.
Conclusion:
Consequently, McDonald have a better plan and customers also satisfy about their product. But
KFC is having limited range of products than McDonalds.
