Dear Folks,

I'm writing to let you know that, despite being a tradition at Azadea for the previous five
years, we will be unable to offer the holiday bonus this year.

As you are aware, the economy has had a terrible year, and our company has also been
impacted. Sales of workout equipment are down 15% from the previous year. Although we
have always appreciated our employees' devotion and hard work, the state of the economy
prevents us from providing the holiday bonus this year. I am sorry for any inconvenience
this may have caused, and I realise this news may have been disappointing. I want to
reassure you, nevertheless, that we remain dedicated to continuing to offer all of our
employees a supportive and encouraging work environment.

In the near future, we anticipate that the economy will keep improving and that sales will
increase. We anticipate being able to offer the holiday bonus once more if our predictions
come true. We can't, however, promise anything right now.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your commitment to our firm and
hard work. We shall overcome this challenging time together and emerge stronger than
ever.
