Share a personal experience where you have exhibited functional literacy. What life lessons
and values have you realized and learned?

The personal experience that I experience is when a foreigner in Baguio asked me to

translate a pamphlet that is written in Tagalog and tell it tom in English so that he can
understand what is in the pamphlet. The life lesson that I learned is that you need the
functionality of your literacy to be able to communicate with others clearly the value that I
realized is the importance of literacy to a culture that allows continuous development in
culture.
