10 . Objective of the course in the programme:
The course is designed to present the conceptual background and analytical tools necessary for students to understand and interpret financial statements in a multi-cultural and
multinational environment. This course focuses on evaluation of financial statements, their effectiveness and practicality for decision making.

11 . Justification for including the course in the programme:


Analysis of financial statements comprises of the basics of financial statements, financial statement analysis and application of financial analysis. Analysis of financial statements
is an important part of company valuation. It also provides students a competitive advantage in the marketplace where financial statements are relevant to individuals as investors,
analysts, creditors, directors, consultants, managers, auditors, regulators, and employees. The syllabus is developed in accordance to subjects of professional accounting
program such as CPA Australia and ACCA.
