HERE HOW TO SOLVED FIRST 1-11 Questions.

1. Since, the children were born at the interval of three years ,let us assume their age as x,
x+3,x+6,x+9,x+12.

given- the sum of five children is 50

therefore,

x+x+3+x+6+x+9+x+12 = 50

5x+30 = 50

5x = 50-30

5x=20

x=4

2. Consider a square plot as shown above and let the length of each side =1

Then length of the diagonal = √ (1^2+1^2)= √ 2

Distance travelled if walked along the edges =BC+CD=1+1=2

Distance travelled if walked diagonally =BD= √ 2 =1.41

Distance Saved =2−1.41=0.59

Percent distance saved =(0.59÷2)×100=0.59×50 ≈ 30%.

3.Let the 20 numbers be a1,a2,...,a20

Given that average of 20 numbers is zero.

Therefore, (a1+a2+...+a20)/20 =0

⟹a1+a2+...+a20=0

⟹a1+a2+...+a19=−a20

Therefore, at the most 19 numbers can be greater than zero.

4. We know that angle traced by hour hand in 12 hrs = 360°

From 8 to 2, there are 6 hours.

Angle traced by the hour hand in 6 hours = 6×(360÷12)=180°

5. A way of calculations

Cost price =8000+5000+1000=86000

profit =25%

selling price =86000+86000*25%

=107500

6. Ans= 270 lets convert the 72 km into meter,so 1 km = 1000 meter, hence 72 x 1000 = 72000
meter. now lets convert the hour into seconds, so 1hr = 3600 seconds. For 72000 meter it
required 3600 seconds,so for 1 second train will be cross 72000/3600= 20 meters per seconds.
so if train runs for 26 seconds then, 26 seconds x 20 meters per second = it will cross 520 meters.
but for crossing the platform is of 250 meters only, so 520 meters - 250 meters = 270 meters

7. The general formula to

determine the probability is:

When a coin is tossed, there are only two possible outcomes.

Therefore, using the probability formula

On tossing a coin, the probability of getting a head is:

P(Head) = P(H) = 1/2=0.5

Similarly, on tossing a coin, the probability of getting a tail is:

P(Tail) = P(T) = 1/2=0.5

8. A way of sequence

3*3=9 3*7=21

3*4=12 3*8=24

3*5=15 3*9=27

3*6=18
9. The ratio in which the profit will be shared is equal to ratio of investments multiplied by the
time period.

= 45000 * 12 = 30000 * 9

= 45 * 12 : 30 *9

= 3*12 : 2*9= 2:1

10. A way of sequence 12, 25,51,103, 207, (…)

(12*2)+1=25

(25*2)+1=51

(51*2)+1=103

(103*2)+1=207

(207*2)+1=4015

11. Here how to calculate winning candidate

Total =1100+2000+7000

=10100

Winner =(7000÷10100)*100%

=69.31%
