1)Project Name : IOCL PARADIP REFINERY EXPANSION PROJECT.

Client : Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Paradip, Odisha, India.
Project description : Expansion of Paradip refinery owned by Indian Oil Corporation
Ltd. The expansion is aimed at expanding the refinery capacity
from 15 million mtpa to 25 mtpa & consequently setting up of a
naphtha cracker unit.
2)Project Name : Project MPP-II/MPS Block.
Client : Biocon Biologics, Visakhapatnam, India.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :-
 Site supervision of installation and alignment, commissioning and maintenance of
static and rotating equipments furnace, reformers, vessels, columns, exchangers,
pumps, FD & ID fans, blowers, compressors.
 Job includes orientation, leveling, verticality, grouting, coupling alignment checks, solo
run, piping installation as per project specification and approved method statement.
 Monitoring the job as per ITP and required by client.
 To do equipment’s blinding as per Blind list using BA single line if required.
 Permit to work reports to construction supervisor and responsible for
coordinating of work permits on the Project for mechanical site work.
 Assure project compliance with permit to work system.
 Check & certify permit to work.
 Reviewing the approval documents about Inspection Test Plan of the project to
ensure inspection shall be in Accordance with the required quality standard and
procedures.
 Regular surveillance checking at site preservation of anchor bolts and equipment’s
during construction stage.
 Obtaining complete check list of the assembling equipment and keep a record of
same.
 Checking equipment orientation and shimming before and after erection.
 Check the condition of pump alignment (axial/radial) without piping prior for
preparation for piping installation.
 Perform daily morning safety tool box talk meeting with client, sub contractors and
vendors at site.
 Organizing and conducting work planning/ progress meetings regularly with sub
contractors and vendors.
 Monitoring the work progress at site and taking corrective actions as when required.
 Attending inter departmental meeting with sub contractor and executing according
to plan.
 Identifying and planning the spare parts requirement for the forthcoming jobs.
 Hi –lighting and bringing the concern to the notice of higher authorities in time.
 Very familiar about all construction and commissioning work permits and E-PTWS.
 Commissioning and startup maintenance: Perform pre mechanical commissioning of
rotating equipments turbine and compressors auxiliary system such as lube oil
flushing, seal gas system, fuel gas system, air system.
 Perform functional test main lube oil system, ventilation system, anti surge valve,
damper etc.
 Perform mechanical run test steam turbine, compressors, blowers, and pumps and
record all the test run parameters such as vibration, temperature, noise, flow, and
pressure in the log sheet.
 Inspection of static equipment’s hydro test and leak test.
 Preparation of punch list and follow up of its completion.
 Preparation of operation procedure according to the vendor recommendations
 Conduct meetings with subcontractor for commissioning start- up activities.
 Reviewing the installed equipment and its accessories as per P&ID.
 Coordination and interface with other disciplines related issues.
 Final inspection (Alignment and box up) of rotary and static equipments.
 Identification and rectification of start- up problems of Static equipments.
 Replacement of steam turbine rotor assembly for three residue gas compressors
with vendors.

 B.Tech final year project on AL6061 hybrid composite material containing Sic and Tio2
particulate were fabricated successfully by varying different percentage of composition using
stir casting method.

 Final year Simultaneously we conducted the tensile strength test and compression test of the
prepared composite material is higher than the base material AL6061.
