1 Principle
The aim of this feature is to offer a possibility to manage an agent user on a 8058s physical set.

2 Implementation
The physical set 8058s must be transformed to a user type 8068s. The phone set type 8068s can be an “ACD
authorized phone set” unlike the 8058s.

R12.1 Version M2.300.21
R12.0 Version M1.401.22

3 Phone set type transformation


The phone set type 8058s has a Virtual Addon module. This is the particularity of the phone type.
4 programmable softkeys on the main display.

4 Procedure

How to transform the user 8058s to 8068s ?


1 - Create user 8058s
2 - change the phone set type. 2 possibilities :

During the boot phase of the user, enter i# menu. From the telnet enter the command : forcenoe
Software Infos / Virtual addon / Option 2 : Disable single user
Use Virtual Addon uncheck Or
Option 4 : Disable multiple user

3 - Automatic reboot of the phone set.


4 - The user type change to 8068s in the OXE database.

5 Troubleshoot

Can be check by tradna <MCDU> or by mgr

When the user type is 8068s, it’s possible to transform it to Pro-acd and manage an agent.

Remark : If the Virtual Addon is set to true, the phone set type change automatically to 8058s
It’s not possible to active the Virtual Addon if the user is a Pro-acd set.
