1- Differentiated instructions

Comments on the improvement progress:


- The teacher started the lesson with an engaging warm-up activity. He built on what he previously
taught to students.
- Students were sitting in groups, yet the base of grouping is not clear, 2 students are in a group while
5 are in a different one.
- Then the teacher asked students to access their account on google classroom. There they found a
quiz about unit four, lessons 11 and 12. He asked students to guess the meaning of some vocab
words like withdrawn, social media, harass. Then he gave them the correct meaning of every word.
- Few students were speaking Arabic in side talks, the teacher asks one certain student to repeat the
word, better if he asked the whole class to repeat after him.
- The teacher asked students to take a quiz on quizlet https://quizlet.com/741559885/flashcards
- Then the teacher asked students to open their books on page 47 and posed some brainstorming
questions about the way we can detect a person who is exposed to cyberbullying. He gave students
2 minutes to think about it, then discuss her ideas with the partner, then in group. think-pair-share.
- In students’ textbooks, many exercises were not solved, and a lot are not checked.
- Students level is at least average to the curriculum standards.
