September 14th from 4:30-5:00pm. At this meeting,
parents can find out what can be done to make the
production happen.
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.

Crew Essay:​ Instead of a week of auditions (7-8 hours), the stage crew participants write a
short essay. On a separate sheet of paper, please explain a) why you want to be a part of
Stage or Tech Crew and b) how your positive attitude will help the team spirit of the
production. Also list any technical, artistic or other special skills you want to share!

 
 

(D) CAST AND CREW STUDENT AND PARENT CONTRACT

1. I will attend all rehearsals for which I am scheduled. I will attend all
performances. I understand that missing three (3) rehearsals without
prior notification may cause dismissal from my role in the show.

2. I (or my parent) will communicate absences:

Expected (like doctor appointments) with at least 72 hrs notice
Unexpected (like being out sick) as soon as possible

3. I will show up on time to all play activities ready to work, with all
necessary materials (scripts, music, etc.)

4. I understand there will be down-time during rehearsals, and will be

prepared to sit quietly and/or engage in an activity such as homework or
reading. I will stay in the area within the school to which I am assigned.

5. I understand that I will bring a snack to eat before or during

rehearsal. This snack will not contain nuts or eggs and will be eaten in
the chorus room (or an area determined by the administration to be
food acceptable).

6. I will memorize my lines and other performance details by the date

predetermined by the Director.

7. I will be present for all mandatory rehearsals and performance dates

(November 2-19)

∙ Think of all your other programs, practices, tournaments, vacations, appointments or other special dates
such as an out-of-town reunion.
∙ Indicate specific times and whether or not you are available for a portion of the rehearsal.
∙ Remember that this play is a group project: unlisted conflicts will affect the group and may
result in a student being asked to give up their role. Every attempt will be made to handle
unforeseen situations in a way that will have the least detrimental effect on the WHOLE GROUP of
students working on the project.
