3 Artists of Interest - Ceramics Research

Project -
Find 3 Ceramic Artists that interest you using the provided list.
These artists should work in material considered Clay/Ceramic.
I will provide an attached list of artists to consider researching, you may ask about
others. Paste in your research below .

For each artist you must do the following:


-List the artist’s name, where they live,
- Paste in an image of the actual artist.
- Write 3-4 several sentences describing their style of art... the type of clay body/materials they
use, shape of pots, glazes and color use, anything that makes them special to you in their
style… what you admire about their work. Use terminology from Art Elements and Principles as
you describe their work.
-Paste in three images of their ceramic work .

turner prize in 2003. His work is also presented in the Andy Worhall museum.

His art is a little but more abstract. He has a variety of pieces other than vases.A
lot of his work he contrustes photographs and than destructes it.

Nairobi, Kenya

She mainly makes vases that arent your typical vase. Some of her work is
supposed to resemble the female body because in kenya women make the poetry. Her
work is covered with slip, fired, and then burnished by hand.
