II. Registration
1. The event is open to all sub-organizations of the Department of Education, namely:
1. Bachelor of Elementary Education
1. Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in ENGLISH
1. Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in FILIPINO
1. Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in MATH
1. Early Childhood Education
1. Bachelor of Arts in Communication
1. Each sub-organization must have 7 representatives each sub.org.
2. Group of participants must submit a properly completed registration form via google form
by the specified deadline.

III. CONTEXTS OF COMPETITION


● team sport that involves two teams of five active players each trying to score points against one
another by throwing a ball under organised rules. It is played on both indoor or outdoor courts.
● basketball is to value their body and take better care of their health. Otherwise, they won't
be able to play. The sport demands strong feet, knees, and hands. Basketball players need to
take care of their eyes and ears to coordinate while gaming
● Basketball helps the team develop tactics in different playing situations and enable them to be
most suited for a role or position. Do not present yet your new content in the Activity &
Analysis, and do not assume that they already know the lesson.
B. Particular Rules
● The Players must arrive 30 mins before the match's scheduled start time.
● Each team can play a maximum number of 5 players on the court while the remaining s are upon
calling on substitutes. If a team breaks this main rule, they will lose possession of the ball.
Sometimes this inadvertently happens, particularly at low levels of the game, when substitute
players check into the game and others don't leave the court in time..
● Score within the shot clock. Teams have a limited amount of time to shoot the ball during a given
possession. Teams are allowed 30 seconds of possession before they must shoot.
● Score more than your opponent to win. To win the game, a team must score more field goals
than the other team.
● The offense has five seconds to inbound the ball. After the offense scores a basket, the opposing
team receives possession of the ball. One of their players has to inbound the ball from a
designated spot on the sidelines of the court to resume gameplay.
● Ball and ball handler must remain inbounds. During gameplay, the player with possession of the
ball must stay within the designated inbounds lines marked on the court.
● Other rules are depending on the professional basketball referee with a basis upon starting of the
game proper.

VI. Others

1. All submissions of registration shall be sent to cata.epan.coc@phinmaed.com Every late


submission will not be accepted.
1. A violation in this IRR will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
1. The referee's decision will be final and irrevocable. A competing participant can only
complain through a written appeal.
1. The event head has the only jurisdiction to any revisions of this IRR.
