8. Course Synopsis: Students study in this course the different sciences of rhetoric
including eloquence, meanings, Badic, in the light of the stylistic and scientific "Icjaz" in
the holy Qur'an and prophetic Hadith. This course is centered upon the study of Qur'anic
models of introducing arguments and calling for the truth based on logical reasons. It also
requires pondering of universal phenomena on the humanitarian, social and scientific
aspects through artistic picturing and giving examples and models of the Prophet’s
(PBUH) eloquence (Jawamic al-kalim) in addressing others.
