Predicting Outcomes
What is It
“Predictions are the connecting links between prior knowledge and new
information in the book. It’s the interaction of these processes that
coalesce—much like sparks firing before the bright flame ignites. . .”
• Use background information that you already know or your prior knowledge and
evidence on what will happen next.
• Use your knowledge of the vocabulary, idea, text organization, author, and other
connections.
• Monitor your predictions as you read and adjust or confirm them as needed to
better understand the text.
• Use what the author, illustration, or text is telling you.

Due to pandemic, our way of interactions has changed. Wherein mobile phones
play a vital role in the COVID-19 battle. It helps us communicate and be informed
without compromising our health and safety. It may change the way we interact with
others but despite it all, our government exerts all the efforts for us to be safe and
continue to move forward.
