Semi- detailed Lesson Plan in Technology and Livelihood

I. Objectives
At the end of the 60-minute period, the students are expected to:
a. identify types of baking tools and equipment,
b. reflect how important to know the types of baking tools and equipment; and
c. classify baking tools and equipment according to their uses.

A. Preliminaries
1. Daily Routine
a) Prayer
b) Greetings
c) Classroom Management
d) Checking of Attendance

B. REVIEW DRILL “ Atras, Abante”


The teacher will flash random pictures. Lean forward if you think it’s
part of baking process, lean backward if not.

C. MOTIVATION – “Message Relay with a Twist”


The teacher will group the class into 3 groups. Each group will
have 2 minutes to relay the specific word from first student to last.
The first two students in each group will silently utter the word then
if they got the answer already they can whisper it to the next
student. The group which can gain the higher points will be the
winner.

IV. LESSON PROPER

1. ACTIVITY “Paste the Pic”


In this activity, the teacher will give random picture of tools and
equipment to each group. The group will collaborate their ideas as
to where should they put the picture according to their uses and
functions.
2. ANALYSIS
The teacher will ask questions to her students
1. Why is it important to know the proper use of each tools and
equipment?

3. APPLICATION –
GROUP ACTVITIES
The teacher prepare 3 different activities for each group. Group
leader will use the the wheel of fortune to randomly pick their
activity.

 “Identify Me”
Directions: Read the given recipe carefully and list down all the
tools that you need to prepare in order to finish the activity

BUTTER CAKE

Ingredients:

3 1/4 cups cake flour 1 ¾ cups sugar


1 cup butter 1 cup milk
8 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder

Procedure: 1. Sift the dry ingredients together except the


sugar.
2. In a large bowl, cream the shortening until light and fluffy.
3. Blend eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
4. Add vanilla to the milk.
5. Add dry ingredients and liquid ingredients alternately to the
creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
6. Bake at 375 for 20 t0 30 minutes.
7. Cool the cake, invert and the paper lining.

List down the tools and equipment needed.

 “Put Me Where I Belong”


Directions: In a Manila Paper, paste the picture that is given to
you according to their classification and uses.
 “STLK(Share Tell Let Know)”
Directions: Share your experience about you using baking tools
and equipment and write it in a piece of paper.

D. GENERALIZATION
The teacher will recap her topics and have an open ended questioning.

E. EVALUATION – “Choose among the Best”


Directions: Read carefully the given clues and supply the missing
