CHAPTER VI

OPERATIONS

Operating any business is like driving a car. You must ensure that it has sufficient fuel

and in good condition for a safe journey. It is important for any business to outline the operations

related to everything in order to have a smooth path towards success. The operating plan serves

as a guide for the management and provides a bird’s eye view of operations that helps investors

assess credibility and operational structure. This is crucial to keep employees and management to

be on the same page.

Inato Silog x Pares aims to create diverse silog menus that customers would love to eat

and to satisfy their cravings as well. It will sought to have positive approaches and safe ambiance

for employees and to the customers as well. Everyone’s health safety is what the business bottom

line. Cleanliness is not just about food preparation but also it includes the proper sanitation

process upon cleaning the whole business area.

A. Service

Type of Service : Inato Silog x Pares Food Service

Rate : Php 55.00 – Php 189.00 per serve

Payment Terms : Cash over the counter

Silogan Schedule : Mondays to Saturdays


6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Other Terms and Conditions :

• Employees are required to work on statutory holidays.

• No work, no pay policy

• No alcoholic drinks or illegal drugs during work hours (Alcoholic drinks and illegal drugs

during work hours (Alcoholic drinks and illegal drugs may make the employee arrested, and

it would be a bad image to the customer)

• Employees are required to wear proper attire. It should be decent and neat.

• Deduction of tardiness if it is exceeded on 15 minutes grace period.

• Never discriminate ( Serve every customer the same way)

• First come, first serve basis ( the customer who came first will be served first, no special

treatment)

B. Personnel

Employees are hired based on their experience and attitude that fit for the job. In

addition, they must be reliable, trustworthy and friendly individual. All employees

should be at least high school graduate having an experience to cook and with good

communication skills to customers as well. Having these employees build bridges with
the customers and the business as a whole. Compensation is at Php 400.00 per day. The

personnel of Inato Silog x Pares are as follows:

1. Cook

2. Cashier / Server 1

3. Server 2

C. Key Assets

The key assets are the business permits, employees and good customer service. In

protecting the business legally, securing permits are topmost important. As to the

employees, they will be paid a comfortable wage that is fair to both the employees and

the business. The image of our business is built by the people who work for us. It is

equally important to keep employees happy so they’ll continue to make this business the

best it can be. Good customer service determines the overall success of the business.

Furthermore, an extra of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will also be available in case it

would be empty. Table napkins, disposable hand gloves and hand sanitizers would be

available also.

D. Suppliers

All stock of ingredients and condiments will be purchased at Robinsons

Supermarket – Perdices St., Dumaguete City. All cooking utensils and equipment will be

purchased at Lp Hypermart -Bagacay, Dumaguete City.
