 SIDDEEQ PUBLIC SCHOOL
The government is making an effort to implement Single National Curriculum (SNC)
throughout the country, at all streams of educational institutions irrespective of
public or private sector. Thereupon, the PTBB has been assigned the responsibility
of publishing the text books conforming to the outlines of SNC. Last year, the
textbooks (Grade 1 to 5) were made available for students; however, the books for
Grade 6 to 8 are yet under the process of printing.

At this stage, neither new course books nor the

Grade 6 and Grade 7
used ones (secondhand) are to be purchased.
o The School will take the responsibility to prepare textual material for
its students and provide them in soft form till the availability of
recommended books in the market.
o However, the used (secondhand) books may be arranged from any
known family or some other source.
o For the promotion of such goodwill gesture, the used books of your
children may be passed on to other Siddeeqeen as well.
o Children must be taught that books are always to be valued whether
new or old ones.
