(see attached letier for reference). In view of the aforementioned activity, this Office reiterates that the Participation of public and private schools is voluntary and shall be subject to the guidelines on the Conduct of Co-curricular and off-campus activities for public and private schools stipulated in D.O. 66, . 2017 cntitled Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct of Off-Campus Activities, and the no-collection policy as stated in Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546, an Act Prohibiting Sale of Tickets and/or Collection of Contributions for whatever project or purpose from students and teachers of public and private schools, colleges and universities (Ganzon Law).
