 1. Inspection Details
We have extensively inspected all the compressors and observed the mechanical and
electrical aspects. Below are our findings for your reference.

Safe The vibrations are well within safe operational range.

Safe The vibration indicates that machine is propagating into an unsafe Zone.
Un-Safe The vibrations are in the alarming zone and failure can be expected.
Observation/Working: After the inspection, we found that local spares are used for
the compressor’s maintenance. We would request you use genuine spares for the
healthy operations of the machine. Furthermore, all spares hold a 6-month. warranty
from the date of installation or one year on the shelf (Not installed or used). If any of
the parts provided by AVS OR Atlas Copco Pakistan malfunctions within the
warranty period will be provided under a warranty claim. Furthermore, the motor is
operating within its service factor and consuming 7% more amperes than its rating at
80% load. It should operate at least 64-70 Amps. The motor must be inspected.
The compressor was cleaned with compressed air. We have also observed that all hose
pipes have fulfilled their life span and need to be replaced. With the passage of time,
frequent heating and cooling of the pipes turn them rigid and ultimately fracture.
