H.264+ SAVE 50% Bitrate as Average
 Hikvision H.264+ is an optimized encoding technology based on the standard H.264/AVC
compression. With H.264+, the video quality is almost the same as that of H.264/AVC but
with less storage capacity required.

HCSA 9
Long Transmit Distance
 By this technology, customers can manage much larger scale projects, or extend existing ones,
with high definition video while simultaneously increasing the transmission range

IP Cameras Input (1)
 Hikvision Turbo HD DVR is a hybrid system. Besides the analog video input(TVI,CVBS,AHD), IP cameras are also
can be additional accessed.
 In order to conveniently switch DVR mode to NVR mode according to customers’ demands, IP channels can be
expanded if default analog channels are disabled;
 From IP cameras access capacity, we define Turbo DVRs as three levels:

485 signal cables into slots and release the orange part.
Ensure cables are in tight.
 Connect A+ on PTZ to D+ on terminal block and B- on
controller to D- on terminal block. Fasten stop screws.

HCSA 19
Configure PTZ Settings
 Enter the PTZ Settings interface: Menu >Camera> PTZ
 Choose the in the Camera dropdown list and click the PTZ Parameters button to set the PTZ parameters.
 Choose correct PTZ Protocol:
Turbo camera or PTZ dome: HIKVISION-C (Coaxitron)
Conventional PTZ dome : HIKVISION, Pelco-D, Pelco-P. Select protocol here which supported by the connected camera/dome.
 All parameters should be exactly same as camera itself, like baud rate, data bit, stop bit, parity and flow control.
Address should be set as 0(default) or the camera’s software address.

HCSA 20
Call Menu and PTZ Control

 Several ways are provided to call camera’s  Advanced operation are also conveniently realized on
menu on DVR: DVR side, like setting and call Preset, Patrol, Patten, etc.

HCSA 21
Add IP Cameras to DVRs
Step 1: Activate IP Cameras
Step 2: Manually or One-touch Adding IP Cameras

By default, IP channel starts from the channel after analog channels. Once analog
channel is disabled, IP camera can be added at that channel.

HCSA 22
Add Keyboard to Turbo DVRs
 Press and hold the orange part of the pluggable block; insert 485 signal cables into slots and release the orange part. Ensure

 Hikvision Turbo DVRs are smart system. It

has the smart functions itself, since
analog channels support up to 2 smart
functions (Line Crossing, Intrusion
Detection) and it is realized on DVR side.
Line crossing detection Intrusion detection

IP Channel:

 Hikvision Turbo DVRs also support the

smart IPC access and cooperated with
IPC to realize Smart 2.0 solution:
configure smart events, alarm received
and search, playback VCA information
conveniently.

Easier Installation with POC
Hikvision Power-over-coax (POC) radically simplifies installation, as one coaxial cable carries both the video signal
and the power supply. This translates to reduced installation time and material costs – which also means happy
