“The Importance of Endogenic Processes in Shaping

Earth and Sustaining Life”

Is often said that Endogenic processes in geology are a function of a body

internal geodynamic activity. They comprise volcanic, tectonic, and isostatic
processes, which shaped the surfaces of all terrestrial plates, the Moon, and
basically all other Solar System bodies with solid surfaces that have been
observed in some detail. Many people claim that Endogenic processes are
driven by the internal heat of the Earth, which in turn results from the
radioactive decay of elements deep beneath the surface. This heat bubbles
upward providing a huge driving force that bends, lifts, and moves Earth’s rigid
outer layer.
Another factor to consider is gravitational differentiation has led to the
stratification of the earth into geospheres of varying density. Endogenic
processes have been responsible for shaping the earth’s relief and the
formation of many of the most important mineral resources.
According to experts’ Gravitational differentiation has led to the
stratification of the earth into geospheres of varying density. On the surface it
is also manifested in the form of tectonic movements, which, in turn, lead to
the tectonic deformation of crustal and upper mantle rocks. The accumulation
and subsequent discharge of tectonic stresses along active faults causes
earthquakes. Hudu jidid isjj
