Learning Outcomes [ASSURE (State Objectives)]
At the end of the 2 hours of lesson, 4th grade students will name jobs and describe working places of jobs that
belong to the jobs, at least 85% accuracy.

Powtoon, Bubbl.us, Writing Activity Handouts, Educational Websites (Wordwall), projection system,
computer, board

Showing and introducing the jobs via video material (Powtoon).
Matching the jobs with their names via educational website activities.
Teaching the classifications and places of the jobs according to their scope (Bublee.us).
Giving handouts about jobs and related places.
Summary
Students will describe the jobs(teacher, doctor, nurse, pilot, vet…), their working places( school, hospital,
airport…) and discriminate their areas (education, health, security…) via activities, handouts and video.
Measurement & Evaluation
Writing and matching activity handouts about jobs and areas of jobs are given to the students to fill the
blanks.
Back-up plan: If there is any technical problem during class hours about powtoon or website, teacher will
explain the topic by drawing on board or distribute the papers that have pictures of topic are ready
beforehand.
