What are the ways you can help protect the environment (e.g., individual, community, and
global)?
Student’s Answer:

Environment refers to how you feel in your current situation. Our capacity to exist on the globe is
influenced by a variety of factors, such as the air we inhale the oceans that covers the majority of the
earth's surface, the plants, and animals in our immediate habitat, and much more. Particularly on Earth,
there is a living ecosystem. People shouldn't believe that we are the sole species on a sick planet.

The most popular and well-known method for environmental conservation is tree planting. The carbon
footprint decreases as the amount of vegetation on Earth increases, which has a positive influence on the
ecosystem. By capturing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, it aids in air purification and improvement.
However, as a student, I think recycling is the best form of environmental conservation since it keeps the
roots healthy, which reduces soil erosion. Resource preservation is one form of waste recycling, recovery,
and reprocessing for use in new items. By recycling plastic, we reduce the need to make new plastic.
Recycling paper helps to reduce deforestation and preserve forests. Can separation also help to lessen
destructive mining and our rising need for raw materials. In essence, recycling is an important step in
preserving the environment, and by extension, our planet.

To sum up, environmentalism entails defending our planet and undoing our damaging short- and long-
term effects on it. The protection of the natural world is a component of global environmental
conservation. Therefore, we are defending ourselves by safeguarding the environment.
