Throughout history, the notion of national security has altered, evolved, and grown enormously. It no
longer refers just to old conceptions of internal and external defense, but instead includes almost every
area of national life and nation-building. National security is described as "a state or circumstance in which
the people's welfare, well-being, ways of life, government and its institutions, territorial integrity,
sovereignty, and basic values are improved and maintained."
The most essential thing we can do to protect our national security is to educate ourselves on the risks
that exist, both within and outside. Once I'm well educated, I'll be able to identify potential risks and
compromises and decide what course of action to pursue. However, as a student, I will keep in mind that
my primary obligation is to complete my education and become a contributing member of society. and I
believe that will be my most significant contribution to our national security.
To conclude, National security is sometimes defined as a country's ability to mobilize armed forces to
secure its borders and discourage or effectively defend against physical threats such as military aggression
and assaults by non-state actors such as terrorism. So, I believe that the best thing that I can contribute is
to educate myself both within and outside, then identify potential risk and decide what course of action to
pursue.
