    Student’s Answer:
    I gained a broad understanding of the moral principles that every Filipino should uphold through the
    Introduction to the National Service Training Program (NSTP100) course. National security is the main focus
    of NSTP, including risks posed by both natural and artificial means. The Reserve Officers' Training Corps
    (ROTC), Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), and Literacy Training Service (LTS), the three categories
    of the National Security Training Program (NSTP), aim to provide some level of "security" to the nation,
    whether from physical, environmental, educational, or other threats that the nation may face. We also studied
    the foundations of first aid and emergency preparedness. Last but not least, this course helped us become
    more aware of many problems that exist in the nation and how to fix them.

    and how to fix them. NSTP is directly related to my life because it affects my security as
    well as the security of those around me and the entire nation. Regarding my own safety, I
    don't just mean my bodily health but also my capacity for thought. The course prepares me
    physically and emotionally so that I know what to do in the event of a national emergency
    or calamity. I will also become more interested and active in the community thanks to the
    NSTP.

    Having said that, the information I have learnt in this beginning NSTP course is crucial for
    my future university studies. If I ever graduate, I will be able to apply after my time in
    Mapua. According to what I understand, the NSTP course improves students' decision-
    making skills, physical qualities, cerebral ability, and most importantly, it strengthens their
    feeling of nationalism, which will serve as their main motivator for willingly contributing to
    the growth of the country.
