ACTIVITY TITLE: Term-End Essay
CASE STORY TITLE: One’s Commitment (part-1)

PRE-NSTP (EXPECTATION, NOTION AND IDEA)

Give your thoughts on the 17 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals and cite a particular UNSDG
and community concern that it can address where you think Mapua-NSTP students, as a whole, can mainly
contribute in it.
Student’s Answer:

As an individual, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are crucial in addressing the world's
most pressing issues. Each of the 17 UNSDGs plays a critical role in promoting sustainable development in
various areas, such as poverty, climate change, health, and education.

One particular UNSDG that stands out to me is Goal 4: Quality Education. This goal aims to ensure
inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. This goal is
essential in empowering individuals and communities to achieve their full potential. As Mapua-NSTP
students, we can contribute significantly to this goal by providing educational support to underprivileged
communities. We can organize outreach programs and volunteer activities to provide access to quality
education for those with limited resources. We can also help promote education awareness campaigns to
encourage people to value the importance of education.

In conclusion, I believe that by focusing our efforts on UNSDG4, Mapua-NSTP students can positively
impact the community by addressing the lack of quality education. We can help break the cycle of poverty
and inequality by empowering individuals through education.
