How does knowing one’s self help in performing your duties as a CWTS student?
Student’s Answer:

In having an extensive knowledge of oneself, to be self-aware, can help immensely in my duties as student
within this course. This is because in knowing my strengths, weaknesses, flaws, and points for
improvement, I may seek out improvement through learning intently and gathering significant insights of
knowledge regarding this subject, which can be applicable in any field of expertise or occupation within
the observation of duties and responsibilities are necessary in taking the endeavors of a certain subjects,
in this case, the CWTS course. It can be very beneficial in that it contributes to the development of the
students. Development in the sense that a student may have newfound insight into their civic duties and
responsibilities as a citizen.

In CWTS, it is used as tool of conditioning adolescents, which are at the stage of their life when they must
soon take up much more civil duties and responsibilities in order to uphold political participation within
the democratic functions of society. Seeing as collectivism is an integral part of democracy, the
coordinated cooperation of the masses is necessary, not by threat of force but by the verdict of the
governed.
