What is the role of ROTC in strengthening the national security?
Student’s Answer:

The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) plays a critical role in maintaining the nation's peace
and security. During times of crisis, the country's reservists may supplement troops on the front lines, and
we need a reserve force that can be called up at any moment. The ROTC Program will strengthen national
security by preparing men and women to defend their country in times of war and catastrophe and
perform disaster relief, relief, and rescue operations and contribute to socio-economic progress. It is in
charge of instilling in college students the foundations of military service to generate influential Armed
Forces of the Philippines reservists.

ROTC training also instills discipline in young people and a respect for authority in those who have
completed it. The gallantry, courage, and spirit of volunteering young men and women throughout the
country were highlighted in an article published by the National ROTC Summit. To better equip Filipinos to
take on more severe problems, the government must teach people to love their nation and serve others. I
also believe that a small country like ours should have a sizable reserve army that may be called upon to
reinforce regular forces.

To conclude, the ROTC is a military organization that prepares people to become officers in the
armed services and is ready to deploy if necessary. ROTC programs provide students a variety of
opportunities and incentives, as well as the required training and financial help for their education. They
are urged to cultivate strong personal qualities such as self-control, confidence, and leadership.
