Large swaths of forest have been cleared to make way for human settlements. To create paper and
furnishings, we've felled trees at our leisure. Slash and burn agriculture has resulted in the loss of vital
wood and medicinal trees. There are various techniques for environmental protection. Because there is a
lack of fresh air and oxygen is dangerous to humans, we must safeguard our environment. If we do not
take care of our planet, humanity will soon be in grave danger. To begin, we must take fundamental
measures to protect and regenerate our ecology. When we take action and volunteer to assist, change
happens. We may plant tiny seedlings on our porches and balconies to compensate for the enormous loss
of trees. Because school grounds are used to cultivate various plants, tree-planting activities in schools are
also helpful. The most pressing challenge confronting humanity in the so-called modern period is
preserving the environment and creating a cleaner and greener planet. The human race has wreaked
havoc on the planet. Pollution, resource exploitation, and a variety of other issues have plagued our
environment. It is now our responsibility to take crucial steps to protect the environment for future
generations. The most significant cause of pollution has been industrialization. To meet our fuel demands,
we depleted the majority of nonrenewable resources such as coal, minerals, and oils. We should convert
to environmentally friendly energy sources such as solar power, hydropower, and wind energy in order to
rescue the ecosystem.
The ecosystem comprises the air we breathe, the land we live on, the trees that provide us with oxygen,
and various plants and animals from across the world. Without such a hospitable atmosphere, survival on
the planet would have been impossible. However, we have seen a gradual decrease in the quality of the
environment due to recent urbanization. Today, everyone's priority should be "protecting the
environment." The word "environment" includes water, air, sunshine, plants, animals, and other factors
that assist development and growth are all included in the word "environment."
It may be difficult to accept, but we do not always need to take drastic measures to protect the
environment. Even a youngster can help the world achieve its 'save the environment' aim. We can all help
by decreasing our use of plastic, conserving energy, using solar power, and planting more trees in our
communities. This would save the environment, but it will also increase the quality of life for animal and
plant species, preventing extinction.
