Action Research Questions

This action research examined the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching as an alternative teaching

approach for English reading enrichment of Grade 4 learners of Osorio II Elementary School for School

Year 2022-2023.

Specifically, this study sought answers to the following questions:

1. What is the reading level in English of Grade IV learners of Osorio II Elementary School (control

group and experimental group) before the intervention?

2. What is the reading level in English of Grade IV learners of Osorio II Elementary School

(control group and experimental group) after the intervention?

3. Is there a significant difference in the reading level in English of Grade IV learners of Osorio II

Elementary School (control group and experimental group) before intervention?

4. Is there a significant difference in the reading level in English of Grade IV learners of Osorio II

Elementary School (control group and experimental group) after intervention?

5. What action should be undertaken to effectively enhance the reading level in English of Grade IV

learners of Osorio II Elementary School?
