Statement of the Problem

This study aims to assess informatization in college English instruction


among selected universities in Guangdong Province.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problems:

1. What is the personal profile of the teacher participants in terms of:


1.1 age;
1.2 highest educational attainment;
1.3 professional title;
1.4 length of teaching experience; and
1.5 number of trainings on informatization in
College English Instruction?

2. What is the school profile of the teacher participants in terms of:


2.1 nature of school;
2.2 school type;
2.3 school size; and
2.4 years of operation?

3. What is the extent of the participants' knowledge and understanding of


informatization in college English instruction?

4. Is there a significant difference in the participants' extent of knowledge


and understanding of informatization in college English instruction when
grouped according to profile variables?

5. What is the participants' level of skills in informatization in college


English instruction in terms of:
4.1 informatization instructional design;
4.1.1 teaching environments;
4.1.2 teaching objectives;
4.1.3 teaching contents;

1. Title: Improving Reading Fluency of Grade 7
Students through Voice Recorded Passages
Statement of the Problem

This action research will look into the effectiveness of audio


recorded and reading passages to improve the reading fluency
of Grade 7 Students of Santor National High School, Rizal
District.
The study aims to answer the following questions :
1.What is the fluency reading performance of the grade 7-
controlled group in English before the implementation of the
audio recorded reading passages?
2.What is the fluency reading performance of the grade 7-
controlled group in English after the use of the audio
recorded reading passages?
3.What is the pretest and posttest results of fluency reading
performance of the grade 7 experimental group in English?
4.Is there a significant difference in the pretest and
posttest results of the fluency reading performance of the
grade 7 controlled and experimental groups?

2. Title: Effectiveness of Teacher-assisted Reading Intervention


Module in the Remedial Program Project DARE TO ReAD (Division
Approaches for Reading Enhancement Through Other Recreational
Activities and Development), S.Y. 2022-2023

Statement of the Problem


This action research focuses on the effectiveness of the
reading intervention module containing various reading
exercises in Project DARE TO ReAD. The study aims to answer
the following questions:

1. What are the reading difficulties of Grade 7 students based


on the results of their Phil-IRI test?
2. Is there a significant difference between the Phil-iri pre-
test and post-test scores on the students’ reading
performance?
3. Is the reading intervention module effective to improve
reading performance of Grade 7?
3. Title: Improving reading fluency of Grade 7 struggling readers
through ICT-based reading intervention.
