PROFESSIONALISM
For most people, professionalism is described as a task and acting in a manner that others

consider competent, trustworthy, and respectful. In tourism industry professionalism guarantees

certain conditions of employment such as greater self-determination, social status, and

respectfulness. A professional brings honor not only to himself but also to others. A sense of

dignity at work through self-respect, status and importance is what professionalism gives

employees. In our industry which is the tourism industry, professionalism is judged by the behavior

and general manner when interacting with coworkers, clients, and guests. We're not searching

for memberships, privileges, or framed awards. Instead, we assess a person's professionalism

based on how they act in certain situation which helps to create a positive environment within the

workplace and to create good communication with our potential customers or guest.
