a. “Since I am one of those people who finds it difficult to look for my purposes
in life and the things that I need and want to value” I chose this quote by Jenn
Lim because it makes me think about myself and makes me feel a little
envious of others who have already found these things because I am one of
those people who finds it tough to look for my life’s purpose and the things
that I need and want to cherish. It can be hard to be a person who is unsure
about their purpose and beliefs in life since you may feel as though you are
doing the same thing every day.
b. I’ve seen some residents in our neighborhood who, in my opinion, are pleased
and satisfied with their daily lives because they have, in some ways, already
discovered their values and their life’s work. I believe that some of our
neighbors are content with their daily lives because they see the things they do
in different ways. They work not because they need to, but because they want
to.
c. Because I’m a person who hasn’t figured out what my purposes are or what
are the things that I want and need to value in my life, Jenn Lim’s comment
has a huge impact on me. Jenn’s statement helps me understand and pinpoint
the activities and behaviors I actually need to accomplish to feel content and
happy every day.
d. To find out what your passions are, I believe the greatest course of action is to
start experimenting and trying new things, such as reading, talking to people,
listening to what they think you’re good at, and researching new topics. I
understand that figuring out one’s life’s purpose and ideals is difficult, but we
must do it if we want to live less regrettable
2. “Technology is a friend, only if you make it.”
b. Like me, you see that technologies already have an impact on how we live our
daily lives. There was technology everywhere I went, and I think the majority
of people on the earth use things like light bulbs, electric fans, and stoves that
are necessary for daily life.
c. This idea, in my opinion, has led me to the conclusion that everything made
by humans is meant for our use. We occasionally forget that technology is a
tool, and how we use it primarily relies on the goals we have. Being one of
these individuals, it is up to me to choose how I will utilize technology
effectively based on the results I need and want.
