Theme : Education In The Middle Of a Pandemic

Good morning
Good luck to all of us.

Dear friends, first of all let us give praise and gratitude to God Almighty for
His blessings, we are still given physical and spiritual health in this time of
covid-19 pandemic.
On this occasion, let me deliver a speech with the theme "Education in the
middle of a Pandemic".

Covid-19 or Coronavirus Disease 2019 was first discovered in Wuhan City,

China in late December 2019.

Covid-19 can cause respiratory system disorders, severe lung infections, and
death. The virus is transmitted very quickly and has spread almost all over
the country including Indonesia with a fairly fast time. With covid-19, the
government decided to take a policy of worship, work, and school from
home.

Education is one of the many ways that can be taken for us as a young
generation to achieve a more advanced and better Indonesia.

Since March 2020 we have been going to school from home or online (In the
network). This has become something that is common for every student in
Indonesia. Is it effective? Not always.
Speaking of education, I remember Nelson Mandela saying that "Education is
the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world". But how can the
younger generation in Indonesia have a powerful weapon if the education
system in Indonesia is currently less effective? Many students are dissatisfied
with online learning. Many things they can not understand when doing so and
the impact of many people who are lazy and procrastinating even some who
do not want to learn anymore, this causes a loss of opportunities for teenagers
to be able to develop themselves more while at home.

Students and teachers are required to be active in this learning process, this
learning system can be used with laptops, mobile phones, and computers.
Through this online learning, the media used can be such as Whatsaap Group,
Google Meet, Google Form, and Google Classroom.

In a pandemic like this students must be able to hone and instill their own
learning spirit in the realm of education because as we believe that education
is the most important component to advance the nation. With education, the
youth can grow their minds in order to keep up with the times that can
advance the country of Indonesia.

So many speeches that I can say, if there is a wrong word I apologize.
