Why education is important? And… does education is important for our future?
Nelson Mandela said "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can we to change
the world"
Teacher and friends, with me ---- Today 24 November twenty-three, we must know
that education is so important. But higher education has an impact on us depending on the
education quality.
Let's take a look at the UNICEF database, Ethiopia is one of the countries that have the
worst education quality. Right now Ethiopia has made significant progress toward with net
enrollment of eighty-eight points seven percent in the two thousand and twenty and twenty-
two academic year. Most of the children enroll in school and only thirty-three point one
percent make it to secondary school.
Get worse when education gets the covid - nineteen impact, conflict, and climate
change, at least thirteen million students are being out of school. Global education
campaign explains that there is some point to SDG4;
First – Ensuring lifelong learning opportunities for all, from childhood to adult
education
Second - Ensuring equality, inclusion, and gender equality
Third - Ensuring effective learning and acquisition
The tast - Ensuring the relevance of learning, in terms of vocational and technical
skills.
Unicef right now keeps supporting students, schools, and teachers across the country
with materials, training, and technical support.
We, as senior high school students what act can we do to impact the education quality?
Let's start the discussion about the solution!
First - As we a student let's study well because if we get a high-quality education, we
can spread into the entire place.
Second - There are so many educational mission trips that open requirements for those
who want to be their volunteer. As a student, we can join the event to open a circle of
friendship and new experiences. We can help the students to get a good quality education.
And the last one is, as a student, we must have a caring relationship, we can see the
student who did not get to school because of some condition, so we can build our mission
trip.
Maybe those solutions are simple things to make, but for them, this act may be a big
dream. Remember that simple acts can make some moves, but some moves that collect
many people can change the world.
Being a volunteer is not that hard, because from working hard there are people that
happy with their actions. Being a volunteer can make us have big friendships and new
experiences for us. So, if you guys met a volunteer requirement try to join and start a new
journey.
The last thing, don't take it easy for education. It's a serious thing that choose the
future of someone. So let's take some action for the great future of education!
