NovaFlow & Solid 2.8

NovaFlow is a powerful, yet easy to use, fluid flow simulator for mould filling. It is
available for gravity and pressure die casting.

NovaSolid is a very fast and accurate solidification simulation tool. It has a unique
method for shrinkage prediction, which allows not only the position but also the size
of the shrinkage to be displayed. An advanced alloy database based on phase
diagrams is used to fine-tune the system for various alloys.

Foundry Tech III is a software tool for gating and risering. The software consists of a
suite of 16 programs covering methoding, gating and risering of both horizontally and
vertically split moulds.

ATAS, which stands for adaptive thermal analysis system, is aimed at metallurgical
process control for gray- and ductile iron alloys. The basic system – ATAS Verifier –
can be extended with modules for Dynamic inoculation, Perlite & BHN estimation and
Nodularity.

PQ-DIT is a process control system for ductile iron. The Prime Quality Ductile Iron
system measures the metallurgical status of the base iron including oxygen and
recommends optimal additions for obtaining the required quality with the minimum
amount of magnesium alloy.

MetalMaster is a charge optimization software tool that not only calculates a least
cost charge for a given analysis but also the thermal properties of the melt.

PQ-CGI, which stands for Prime Quality Compacted Graphite Iron, is a complete
method for production of CGI. It is based on a one-step method that does not require
any addition of titanium or inoculant. Available both for batch treatment and as PQ-
CGI InMold for automotive castings in large series. In cooperation with Elkem,
NovaCast can offer a complete system including alloys.
