Summary

Jeon Jeongguk may be the exact definition of a perfect alpha.

Taehyung is the opposite.— And Jeongguk hates it.

He hates everything about Taehyung. His deep voice, box-shaped smiles, crescent eyes and
how good he is at playing volleyball. There’s just something about the loud and carefree
alpha that irks Jeongguk to his core; not to mention their short-lived history together back in
high school—when Jeongguk might have felt everything except hate for Kim Taehyung.

Notes

***

Hi!
I’m not really used to writing a/b/o , but I really wanted to try joining the fest at least once.
:) I hope you can forgive my typos. I don’t really have a beta and english isn’t my first
language.

By the way, I tweaked the usual ranks a bit for this fic, adding another type of ‘alpha’ in
the story, called the ‘elites’.

Basically the ‘elite’ alpha line is the direct descendants from the ‘originals’. Rank wise,
they’re higher than the common pure-bloods and their eyes are pitch-black with deep
crimson pupils. Their instincts are harder to suppress and they have a few more unique
capabilities that will be discussed bit by bit as you read through this fic.

The story isn’t much, and I’m not sure if I was able to grant everything that the wonderful
prompter wants, but I tried my best. I really worked hard for this. I hope you’ll like it.

Thank you! :)

'You were born for greatness.— Remember that.'

Jeon Jeongguk often hear those words from his dad. It was said that greatness is a lot of small
things done well everyday, and that's what he has been trying to achieve with no rest and no fail.

As an only son and as someone from an elite alpha line, Jeongguk has been brought up to always,
— always show others his very best; be it at school or even when he's just hanging out with his
friends. They all should see no flaw; that's the rule Jeongguk made for himself.

Don't get him wrong; his family never forced him to do any of those. Sure, they may have been
reminding him to live up to his rank, but that's just normal, since in their family, they're all alphas
who have an image to uphold, though they've also been warning him to take it easy and to live as
he should. It was Jeongguk's choice to set up his own rules.

Why? Well, let's just say that he likes it. He likes the compliments he receives whenever he's doing
something good. It boosts his ego and his self-esteem. He also likes the respect he's been getting,
that's why ever since he got a taste of it, he just kept on going.

It's not hard anyway,— pleasing others, I mean. For Jeongguk all he needs to do is to speak using
the right tone, say the right words, smile at the right time, do well in his exams and be a little
kinder towards everyone. Sounds like a lot of work, but for him, it's not like that at all. You see,
people often hate it when they see someone being good at everything, but when he does all the
things that were mentioned earlier; being all sweet, kind and maybe being a 'borderline' pushover,
he can get away with it. He'll be allowed to be good at everything without being hated for it.— He
could get all the admiration and respect he always wanted.
That's why he's still here, doing his tasks as the student council president of their university even
after their class. He's been wanting to go home early to play a little overwatch, but Mr. Choi, their
business professor, asked him to hold a brief meeting to discuss the upcoming school festival this
year.

"Thank you for your assistance as always, Jeongguk-ssi. I'll tell the board about the budget, then
I'll let you know how it goes." Mr. Choi says, patting Jeongguk's back after the meeting and after
the rest of the council members have left.

"You're welcome sir.— Thank you for your hard work as well, just tell me if you need help with
anything. Me and the rest of the student council will be glad to offer our assistance." Jeongguk
says, bowing politely to the older beta; waiting for him to walk away before raising his head.

"Tch, how troublesome." Jeongguk mumbled under his breath, rolling his eyes as he huffs a lungful
of air before heading out of the meeting room as well.

It's now 7 in the evening and truth be told, Jeongguk didn't expect that he'd be coming home this
late today. He's tired and hungry, but the hallways are now empty, and for some reason, he kinda
likes the silence and peace that's now surrounding him.

He walked slowly, — until he was left frozen in place, pausing to stare at the man who's sleeping
soundly at the now empty lecture hall, face pressed down on the desk.

"*Sigh* You really haven't changed at all..." Jeongguk whispers to himself as he enters the hall,
carefully pulling the windows close, shaking his head before leaving the man alone.

***

"Let me guess, you slept late again yesterday, am I right?" Kim Namjoon, Jeongguk's best friend
asks, noticing the evident dark bags under the latter's eyes, despite it being hidden behind his thick
rimmed eyeglass.

"Yeah. Mrs. Kang emailed me about my opinion regarding one of her student's business ethics case
study; said she wanted to hear my take on it as someone who topped her class last year, so I had to
read through the whole damn 15 page work of a hoobae I don't even know.— Great, right?"
Jeongguk says, not bothering to filter out his words and tone of distaste. His best friends, Namjoon
and Jung Hoseok, who are both alphas, know his true personality anyway, so there's really no need
to watch what he says. The three of them go way back since they were kids, though Jeongguk had
to switch schools during their 3rd grade of High School since his family moved from Gangbuk to
Hannamdong due to his father's work.— Yes. His father, Jeon Jeonghyo the mayor of Seoul;
someone that everybody here knows.

"You know you could've declined, right? She basically made you do her job, and—.."

"Ssh, let's talk about it later, hyung. Class's about to start." Jeongguk says, cutting Joon off when he
saw their professor coming in, while Hobi just eyed Joon knowingly, aware that no matter what
they say, Jeongguk will still continue doing his rather 'saintly' ways.

It's not like Jeongguk doesn't know that others might be taking advantage of him, just because he
rarely says no; but then again, that's the difference between him and a 'regular pushover'. He
knows how to deal with people, he lets those who are worth it, use him as long as he can grant
what they want and need, so that he could do the same once it's him who will be needing their help
in the future. It worked a lot of times now actually. Back in freshman year, he worked his ass off to
earn the favor of his classmates and his professors, in return he's now where he is; sitting as the
student council president, being respected and adored by everyone.— Everyone, except one.

"Oops, guess I'm late again, huh? Sorry, I saw a stray cat on my way here and thought that it'll be
quite heartless of me, if I just left without feeding it." Kim Taehyung, captain of the volleyball
team, a classmate and a fellow alpha says, barging inside the lecture hall, walking straight to his
usual seat at the back while greeting everyone with his signature box shaped smiles and crescent
eyes, as if he could do no wrong.— And Jeongguk hates it. He hates it because for him, this man's
carefree and unsophisticated attitude is indeed a disgrace to their rank.

Jeongguk watched as Taehyung took his usual seat beside his set of friends; Kim Seokjin a beta,
Park Jimin, an omega who is Joon's long-term boyfriend and Min Yoongi a beta as well who's also
Hobi's boyfriend, which makes it harder for Jeongguk to avoid the rowdy alpha. Unfortunately for
him, he and Taehyung belongs to the same circle of friends.— A pure coincidence, not his own
choice, by the way.

"I see... Just don't be late next time, Taehyung-ssi." Their professor says, dismissing Taehyung's
tardiness as usual, which annoyed Jeongguk more, eyes glaring at Taehyung who's giggling
cluelessly right now with Park Jimin.

That's the thing about Taehyung actually.— He just doesn't care about what people have to say
about him. He kept on doing what he wanted without even thinking. He's a damn ticking time
bomb,— at least that's what Jeongguk thinks. You see, Jeongguk has never been a fan of chaos. He
dislikes it when it's loud and disorderly, but if there's one thing that Jeongguk hates the most, it will
be those people who just live without even trying.— The exact definition of Kim Taehyung.

Walking. Talking. Breathing mess, Kim Taehyung.

'What?' Jeongguk then immediately tore his glare away when Taehyung suddenly caught him
staring, mouthing a silent 'what?' with a taunting and somewhat disgusted look on his face.

"What's his problem now?" Taehyung asks Jimin who's on his side.

"Who?" Jimin asks back, wondering what Taehyung meant by that.

"Jeon Jeongguk, duuh?" Taehyung says, in a-matter-of-fact tone, despite already being aware that
he's probably the only one who saw Jeongguk's sharp glare again.

"Pfft, why? Did he give you the stink eye again? C'mon Tae, Jeongguk wouldn't do that. He's a
nice guy, stop being bothered by him all the time." Jimin says. Well truth be told, all of them are
used to Taehyung's 'odd' rants about Jeongguk; saying things like, Jeongguk rolled his eyes at him,
glared at him, purposely bumped him so hard that he almost threw hands, and Jimin wants to
believe him. If only they had seen it really happening, though honestly, it's hard to believe, since
Jeongguk is an angel, at least that's what everyone sees.

"Hah, I'm not bothered by him. He's the one who's bothered by me! Just look at him, he— he looks
constipated." Taehyung says, breathing out an offended scoff, which made Seokjin on their side
chuckle in response.

"The dude is just smiling, Taehyung. Pfft,— see? Give the pup a break." Jin says, pointing his lips
towards Jeongguk who's now chatting with Hobi and Joon while taking down notes.

"Tch, whatever. Pup my ass." Taehyung says, rolling his eyes at his playful friends.
***

"MOVE!!!"

Jeongguk's brows then twitched upon hearing the incoming 'ruckus', dashing a few feet away from
him, Hobi and Joon as they peacefully walked around the hallway after stopping by at the student
council office during lunch.

"Fuck! We're so gonna be late! I told you to hurry the fuck up Park Jimin! Coach's gonna kill us
this time, for sure!" Taehyung yells, rushing towards the gym with Jimin, Jin and Yoongi who's
walking calmly behind the other three.

"Shut up! It's Jin hyung's fault you know?! He's the one who couldn't find his socks!" Jimin says,
panting out of breath while bickering with his two best friends.

Jeongguk stopped on his tracks, pushing a tongue on his cheek, trying to mask his annoyance as
the 'loud' bunch— sans Yoongi run past them, with Jimin sending a 'finger heart' to his boyfriend
Joon who 'annoyingly' sent it back, while Yoongi stopped beside them, now standing next to Hobi,
interlocking their fingers together.

"Pfft, they're so funny, really. Coach Jang will definitely chew them alive." Hobi says, smiling so
brightly, making Yoongi a blushing mess.

"Tch, if they continue to do that, I wouldn't be surprised if that 'Taehyung' causes another wild
accident." Jeongguk says, rolling his eyes at his friends. Friends,— yes including Yoongi who
despite being best friends with the other three, blends in perfectly with him, Joon and Hobi.

"Pfft... Still can't believe he broke Chanwoo's nose last year. If you haven't come in between them,
I'm sure it would've been a bloodbath like their previous fight during freshman year." Yoongi says,
recalling the whole fiasco that Taehyung caused not so long ago.

"Right! Hah! Poor Song Chanwoo's about to pee on his pants! You almost blew your cover that
time, remember?" Jeongguk then flinched upon hearing what Joon just said said, laughing as well,
thinking about the time when Jeongguk almost lost control and took off his 'nice guy, Mr. perfect'
mask, when he saw how Taehyung bared his fangs, eyes glaring red at the other alpha Song
Chanwoo from the soccer team, who called him names after Taehyung bumped into him, breaking
his nose accidentally.

"Cover?" Yoongi asks, since even though he's already rather close with them, still has no idea
about Jeongguk's harmless charade, playing as the perfect student council president.

"Erm... Nah, I mean, he almost blew his... h-his..."

"Pfft, nothing babe, Joon here 's just spewing nonsense as usual. C'mon now, we should watch the
game,— and by 'we', I mean you too, Guk. You're coming with us... Right?" Hobi says, raising a
brow with a smirk at Jeongguk, knowing full well that his fellow alpha owes him one now, after he
saved him the trouble of explaining to Yoongi what Joon's slip up means; which made Jeongguk
pass a sharp glare at Joon who just shrugged it off, mouthing a silent 'sorry' before all of them
continued to walk towards the gym.

"Remind me again why I'm friends with you all. Tch." Jeongguk mumbled under his breath, letting
out a deep sigh as he followed his friends.

***

Contrary to the usual blank face he has been wearing since the game started, Jeongguk actually
likes volleyball. Well, not just volleyball, he enjoys every sport even though he's not playing any of
it here, deciding that he'll be generous to give the other alphas around him the limelight when it
comes to this field. He's already busy enough with his tasks as the student council president while
maintaining his grades above average so playing sports for a few points doesn't really sound that
practical to him.

The crowd went wild, seeing Taehyung's team earn one point after another. It's no surprise though,
since as much as Kim Taehyung often causes trouble around here, he still managed to earn his
popularity, thanks to his unrealistically perfect features.— Features that he's flaunting so well right
now without even trying. Glowing skin, glistening more after breaking a good amount of sweat
from the game, long jet black hair tied in a pony tail, revealing more of his exquisitely sculpted
face, tiny tight shorts that accentuate the shape and length of his toned legs— and his plump ass
that's been screaming for everyone's attention every time he squats while waiting for the ball to go
over their net. It's quite a sight, really. No wonder almost everyone at school comes here, flocking
and cheering at every game.

"Admit it, he's good right? Taehyung, I mean." Joon says in a low voice, nudging Jeongguk's side.

"I didn't say anything, hyung. Besides, it'll be a shame if he's not good. He's the team captain, after
all." Jeongguk says. He's about to roll his eyes again when Taehyung made the final score,
securing their win for today's match, making everyone get on their feet,— everyone. Including
Jeongguk who found himself jolting out of his seat, pumping his fists as the rest of the audience
cheered.

"See? You're even cheering for him now, pfft." Joon continued to tease, making Jeongguk's cheeks
flush pink, going up to ears.

"Shut it hyung... Our team just won their first game this spring, of course I'm gonna cheer."
Jeongguk says, pausing as he turns his back on his friends. "Whatever, I'm leaving." He says again
before walking away.

"Oh, where are you going now, kid? Aren't you gonna celebrate with us?" Joon asks, yet Jeongguk
doesn't bother to respond, leaving the scene before glancing back at the gym when he sees that no
one else is around.

Jeongguk stood there at the farthest back of the bleachers, watching as Taehyung gets hoisted up
by his teammates, wearing the brightest look on his face, looking like the damn sunshine on a
stormy day; sticking out like a sore thumb with his pretty smiles that's now full in display.

"God, he's so annoying." Jeongguk says to himself, shaking head and scratching his brow, leaving
while holding back a wide smile from appearing on his face.

***
It was said that 'you attract what you fear the most' . The reason behind it is quite simple, honestly.
When fear becomes your dominant thought and if you focus on it more; based on the law of
attraction, it will eventually expand in your life.

What you think and feel most of the time will be attracted into your life.

It's a new day today and it's funny, because Jeongguk knew about that 'saying', but maybe he
forgot about it just now, when their professor was assigning their project partners and instead of
keeping calm like he normally would, he kept on chanting 'Not him. Not him. Not him. Anyone but
him.' inside his head, while thinking about the other alpha who doesn't have a partner yet,— yes,
Kim Taehyung.

"Last pair will be... Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon."

'Tch, I knew it.' Jeongguk says in his thoughts, silently clicking his tongue in annoyance after
hearing their professor's words.

"What?!" — and Taehyung doesn't sound happy about it too, when he suddenly gets on his feet,
with a loud 'are- you- serious?' expression on his face.

"Is there a problem, Taehyung-ssi?" Their professor asks, and from there Taehyung knows he's
royally fucked. He basically abused all his luck here in their business management subject by
being either absent or late all the time, so obviously their professor Mr. Han will not have any
patience nor any fucks to give about his complaints.— It's either he pairs up with damn Jeon
Jeongguk or he fails.

"N-nothing..." Taehyung says, gritting his teeth as he speaks before plopping back on his seat. Mr.
Han is a fellow alpha, so he knows that his cheap tricks of intimidation wouldn't work on him.

"Great. Now, you're supposed to only get two weeks to complete this project before presenting it in
front of the class. But since we'll be having our school festival soon, I understand that you all need
to prepare, that's why I will be giving you an extra week to complete everything.— Any questions?
Complaints? None? Okay, see you tomorrow then. Class dismissed." Mr. Han says, before leaving
the lecture hall, ignoring the sudden spike of strong pheromones coming from the two alphas in the
room, all directed towards his direction.

"Gosh, Tae! Calm down, will ya?" Jimin says, covering pinching his own nose to lessen the
overwhelming scent; yet Taehyung didn't budge, he allowed it to intensify instead, especially now
that the high and mighty Jeon Jeongguk is now standing beside his desk.

"Can I have your email? I'll do the draft and just send you your parts tonight." Jeongguk speaks
within his normal 'prim and proper' tone, now able to control his 'annoyed' pheromones. Why?
Well, as we all know, he has an image to uphold.

"Hah... Wow, shouldn't we discuss the details first? Or are you expecting me to just go with
whatever you prefer? Is that it, huh?— Mr. President?" Taehyung says, breathing out a taunting
scoff, standing up and leaning even closer to Jeongguk.

They're aware that everyone's eyes are probably on them right now, for they're not known to
interact that much.— They don't interact at all, in fact.

Jeongguk stood his ground though; he's not one to be fazed easily by some hot headed alpha like
Taehyung. He let his lips curl up to a smile— the same 'sweet' smile he's been giving to everyone
as he meets Taehyung's sharp glare, eyes flashing red.
"Oh no, Taehyung-ssi. Please don't get me wrong, I just want to—.."

"Want to what? Save me the trouble? Play the hero? Or get all the credit like you always do? Pfft,
don't make me laugh, Jeon.— Meet me at the library after class. I'm free, because unlike you, Mr.
President, I am surely not that busy." Taehyung says with a rather mocking smirk, purposely
bumping on Jeongguk's shoulder as he walks away, leaving the other alpha in utter disbelief,
pushing a tongue on his cheek.

"Sorry Guk, he's been in a bad mood since this morning." Yoongi says, tapping Jeongguk's back as
he, Jin and Jimin follow Taehyung outside.

...

"Tae, what was that about?" Jin asks. They're actually aware that Taehyung isn't fond of the student
council president, but none of them expected that Taehyung hates Jeongguk that much for him to
cause a scene all of a sudden in front of their whole class.

"Hyung, please... Let's just talk about it some other time. I'm really not in the mood right now."
Taehyung says before he continues walking away, ignoring his friends that kept on calling out his
name.

***

"Well, that's a first... He doesn't usually react to you, y'know?" Joon says after witnessing
Taehyung and Jeongguk's heated exchange.

"Yeah, I guess?" Jeongguk says, counting sheep inside his head, trying to calm himself.

"Is there something you're not telling us, Guk?— I mean, I've been with Taehyung a lot of times
already through Yoongi, and he's usually cool. Sure he's been through a couple of brawls here and
there, but I never saw him blow off like that, totally unprovoked." Hobi says, asking since there
must be something that they still don't know about the two, based on how Taehyung reacted.

Jeongguk gulps at that. Hobi's voice was low but still he's reluctant to tell them his answers. Even
though Joon and Hobi knows his true personality, Jeongguk still is not telling them everything.
Like how Kim Taehyung and him go way back too. He was Jeongguk's classmate when the latter
moved in highschool, but unlike now, there wasn't any animosity between them back then— at
first, that is.

*Flashback*

To say that Jeongguk is happy to be here would be a lie. He's already in his 3rd year of High
School, but now he has to switch schools and get accustomed to this new place like some clueless
freshman who doesn't know what to do. The people here are nice, they've welcomed him warmly,
probably because Jeongguk's father is quite well-known in this neighborhood. Jeongguk is doing
good so far, it's just his second week in this new school, and that's the problem — Jeongguk cannot
let himself settle in being just good.
He's been doing more than okay with his studies. He was able to catch up with the lessons very
well, it's just that, it has been days but he still has no friends. Everybody here already has their own
circle, and for some reason Jeongguk finds it hard to choose one and blend in. So right now, he's
here at their building's rooftop, eating lunch alone, refusing to sit at the cafeteria on his own like
some loser in his last year of highschool.

"You're here again, I see." Jeongguk flinched, putting down his banana milk when he suddenly
heard a voice from the nearby shade beside him.

"Huh?" He says as he turns his head towards the person who's now on his feet, dusting his pants
off before walking towards him.

"You're the new comer right? Jeon Jeongguk?" The guy asks, hands in his pockets as he leaned his
back on the wall facing Jeongguk.

"Ah, y-yeah... That's me. I just moved here, y'see." Jeongguk says, hating the fact that his voice
shaked a little in the presence of the other alpha in front of him.

"I'm Kim Taehyung by the way,— nice to meet you Jeongguk." Taehyung says, showing Jeongguk
the sweetest and brightest smile the latter has ever seen on someone's face.

*Ba-dum... Ba-dum... Ba-dum*

'W-what the hell is happening to me?' Jeongguk asks in his thoughts, hands automatically landing
over his chest; eyes fixed on the other alpha, as his heart beats fast, while his cheeks start heating
up.

"You okay?" Taehyung asks, placing his hand over Jeongguk's shoulder, face laced in concern,
making the latter snap out of his trance, steadying his breath to regain composure.

"Y-yeah... Nice to meet you too, Taehyung." Jeongguk says, averting his gaze while Taehyung
decides to step away and give the other a little space.

"Why are you here by the way?" Taehyung asks, pulling out a strawberry lollipop from his pocket,
unwrapping it only to wrap his mouth around it, sucking so casually even if there's someone here in
front of him.— Well, it shouldn't be a big deal. It's just a guy, a fellow alpha enjoying his candy,
but Jeongguk can't seem to look away, as if his eyes are now hyper focused on each move that
Taehyung's mouth makes.

"J-just to eat lunch. Y-you?" Jeongguk asks, hissing when he bit his tongue as he speaks, making
Taehyung giggle a little bit.

"Pfft, you're a shy type, I see. Don't worry, I know it's hard to blend in when everyone here is
friends already.— If you're up for it, then you can stick with me, I'll introduce you to my friends
until you get yourself used to how things work around here." Taehyung says, smiling again, before
taking Jeongguk's hand, pulling him as they exit the rooftop.

"H-hey..."

"C'mon now, pup... Don't worry, I won't bite." Taehyung says, glancing back to flash a wink at
him, dragging Jeongguk with him as they both ran along the hallways, rushing to meet some of
Taehyung's friends here.

...
He won't bite. True to his words, Taehyung really did not bite. He stayed beside Jeongguk, making
sure that the latter wouldn't be spending his last year of highschool alone. He introduced him to his
friends until Jeongguk managed to gain his usual confidence.

Kim Taehyung is like a breath of fresh air. He's a cool kind of guy, smart, he's the top of their class
and he's someone who's loved and admired by everyone. Usually, Jeongguk would mind it and feel
bad about himself, given the kind of alpha that he is from within, but for some reason, he
genuinely didn't mind it when it comes to Taehyung.— For once, Jeongguk found himself with
someone who's worthy to be considered as his competition.

Taehyung kept him both grounded and on his feet at the same time. He's good with sports, people
and his studies, while Jeongguk focuses more on just academics. For a short amount of time,
Jeongguk and Taehyung became friends.— They were happy.

Happy, until they found themselves staring at the result board after their exams, checking the class
ranking.

"C-congratulations... You ranked first." Taehyung says, yet Jeongguk could tell by how
Taehyung's once bright and genuine smile faded to something fake and by how his voice trembled
a bit— Taehyung wasn't happy for his success.

He wasn't happy for him— his own friend.

Why?

"Ah... Y-yeah... Thanks." Jeongguk says, hoping that it's all in his head. That maybe Taehyung isn't
like those prideful alphas whom he had to play pretend with so he would not be envied and hated.
He hoped that Taehyung isn't like the 'common' rest. "Listen, Tae... Uhm,— should we go eat
lunch?" Jeongguk asks, deciding to just act normal and shake it off, so he and Taehyung will be the
same as before.

"Uhm... N-no. I can't... I forgot I had to drop by the gym to practice volleyball with my team."
Taehyung says, with a rather terrified look on his face, running away, leaving Jeongguk just
standing there.

...

Jeongguk could've stopped there. He could've just let Taehyung be, after all he's already fine and
settled well here. Still, he chose to hope and pretend that nothing is wrong. He continued following
Taehyung like a lost dog, despite the obvious fact that the latter has been avoiding him like a
plague just because he placed first on that damn score board.

It hurts, but just the thought of letting them fall out like this, somehow feels like it'll hurt more.

"Hey Jiwon, have you seen Tae?" Jeongguk asks one of their classmates after class. He already
checked the gym as well as every cubicle in the toilet, yet he still cannot find where Taehyung is.

"Tae? Oh, I saw him at the library just now when I went there to return the books I've borrowed."

"I see, thanks. I'll go there now." Jeongguk says, rushing towards the library, wondering if
Taehyung will finally accept his offer to walk home together this time, instead of avoiding him like
what he's been doing all week.

...

Jeongguk then entered the library, checking each aisle and section from the entrance and still found
no sign of Taehyung being here. He's about to give up and call it a day when he decided to just
continue walking towards the now empty reading section, feeling the crisp and warm spring breeze
coming from the widely opened windows of the room,— then he found himself standing frozen in
his place, heart beating wildly inside his chest as he stares at Taehyung's sleeping face.

*Ba-dum... Ba-dum... Ba-dum*

And suddenly, Jeongguk is leaning in, less than an inch away from the fellow alpha's slightly
parted lips, feeling his breath that smells like strawberries and mint against his skin, jaws clenched,
eyes flashing red. He's getting closer... Closer....

Until a pink petal fell on Taehyung's cheek, making Jeongguk step back, fighting the strong pull
that just lured him in and the heat that's still running through veins, making him unable to think
straight.

'y-yeah... Maybe we should stop being friends after all.' Jeongguk says to himself before he turned
his back on the still sleeping Taehyung and ran away, horror filling up his entire face.

*End of Flashback*

...

*Present*

Jeongguk stopped chasing Taehyung after that. He lived his life like how he used to, wearing his
mask to please everyone around. He aced his class and graduated as the perfect alpha he built
himself to be, not even bidding Taehyung goodbye, thinking that they'll never meet again after
parting ways like they've never been friends.

Joke's on him though, because now he's here again, standing frozen in his place at the university
library, heart beating wildly inside his chest as he stares at Taehyung's sleeping face.

The fading orange light from the sun, peeks through the opened windows. The trees are growing
green, the flowers blooming pink.— Suddenly, everything feels surreal.

*Ba-dum... Ba-dum... Ba-dum*

Jeongguk then pulled one of the empty chairs, taking a seat beside Taehyung who's still sleeping
soundly, cheek pressed flat on the desk. He then leaned down, resting the side of his head on the
table as well.

One. Two. Three.— Jeongguk slowly counted the moles on Taehyung's face. One under his eye,
the other on the tip of his nose and one placed prettily on his lower lip just like a kiss.

A kiss that can tempt anyone to kiss.

'You're the one who avoided me first, remember?' Jeongguk asks in his thoughts as he lets his
fingertips touch the small beauty mark on Taehyung's nose.

...

"O-oh god... What time is it?" Taehyung groans, wiping the drool off of his chin when he wakes up
from his unplanned long nap here at the library.

It's now 8 p.m. and he's pretty sure that he's the only one here, which made him wonder how long
he really has been sleeping.— No, waiting. He has been waiting for Jeon Jeongguk, that's the
reason why he's here.

"That fucking dipshit, really didn't come huh?" Taehyung hissed all annoyed, thinking that he's
really been stood up, until he found the small note tucked between the covers of his book.

'You might not be busy, but you surely are sleepy. By the way, wipe the drool off of your face, you
look funny. See you tomorrow, Kim.'

***

Taehyung's now here in his bedroom alone, pacing back and forth while still thinking about how
he embarrassed himself in front of another alpha by sleeping like a damn baby even though he was
the one who told Jeongguk to meet up rather proudly.

Truth be told, after their sudden and silent fall out in highschool, Taehyung didn't really expect to
see Jeongguk again. Sure, it might've been his fault why their short-lived friendship ended, but it
still annoyed him that Jeongguk acted as if they never knew each other back when he saw him
again in Uni two years ago. Don't get him wrong, he's not expecting for them to go back as they
were before, being friends all. He just thought that maybe they could at least interact like civilized
alphas in the same class,— but no. Jeongguk had to treat him not just like a complete stranger but
also a ghost.

Taehyung knows that what he did was wrong and it's not like he didn't try to approach Jeongguk
and explain his side, because he did. Ever since he saw him at the freshmen orientation day in uni,
Taehyung tried to make amends, but Jeongguk just kept on ignoring him, making Taehyung grow
tired of the chase. If Jeongguk is stubborn enough not to hear him out, then Taehyung's also
stubborn enough to bury whatever it was in their damned past.

So why does he feel restless now?

"You know what?! Fuck it, I'm so not thinking about that damn Jeon tonight!" Taehyung says to
himself, clicking his tongue before grabbing his jacket, heading out of the door, giving one of his
random hook-ups a call.

***
It's now four a.m. and Taehyung's now done getting dressed, ready to leave this cheap motel, while
the male omega Hyuno', who's also his classmate, lies in bed, hickies and bite marks decorating his
chest.

"I already paid for this room. You can stay here and rest for the whole day if you want." Taehyung
says, pausing as he grabs his wallet, putting some cash on the desk. "Here's for your cab later as
well." Taehyung says again.

"Hmm.... You're still as generous as ever, Taehyung-ssi." Hyuno says with a knowing smirk
painted on his face.

"What?" Taehyung asks, wondering why the Omega's looking at him this way right now.

"Don't get me wrong, the sex is still good as usual, but sorry, I can't help but notice that
something's wrong... You're not in a good mood, are you? Why? Is this still about what happened
yesterday in class? With Jeon, I mean." Hyuno asks, recalling how Taehyung's pheromones spiked
up in an abnormal amount earlier when they fucked.

"Tch, mind your own business, pup. — Do not cross the line, remember that." Taehyung says, eyes
glaring red at the omega who's now trembling, frozen on the bed.

"R-right... See you in class then, Taehyung-ssi." Hyuno says, averting the alpha's sharp glare,
holding his breath before Taehyung's strong pheromones once again mess up his head; while
Taehyung just huffed a lungful of air, wearing his jacket before walking out, leaving the omega
alone with a frown on his face.

***

Class starts at 9 a.m. and Taehyung hasn't slept a wink, so right now, he's not feeling like himself.

"Hey, are you okay? You look like a ghost, Tae." Jimin asks. They still haven't talked about what
happened yesterday and why Taehyung lashed out just because of a mere group project, though to
be honest, they're all reluctant to ask.

"Y-yeah... Hyuno kept me up all night, but I'm fine Chim, don't worry.” Taehyung replies,
scratching his eyes that feels itchy and dry.

"*Sigh* so that's why he's not here. Tae, shouldn't you—.."

"What?" Taehyung asks since Jimin stopped in the middle of his sentence, lips pointing towards
his desk, making Taehyung see the can of iced coffee there.

"This one's blended sweet. You can drink it, don't worry." Jeongguk says. Well to be completely
honest, he got no idea why he immediately went and bought a can of coffee from the nearby
vending machine outside the room when he saw Taehyung entering the lecture hall like a walking
corpse, it seems like his body just moved on its own, and now he's here, standing awkwardly in
front of the man who's currently staring at him as if he had seen a ghost.

"What the fuck?" Taehyung asks, raising a brow at Jeongguk, making the other alpha's face flush
deep pink, pushing a tongue on his cheek while thinking of a way to redeem himself after acting
quite impulsively.
"Y-you were drooling in your sleep when I arrived at the library yesterday. I- I want to work on our
project and get over with it as soon as possible, so I need you to be awake. That's all to it, really."
Jeongguk says, before he turns around swiftly, retreating back to his seat. Taehyung was about to
say something in response to that, but their professor suddenly arrived, so he just kept his silence,
glancing at Jeongguk from time to time.

"See? Jeonggukie's not that bad, right?" Jin says after seeing what happened just now.

"Whatever hyung." Taehyung rolls his eyes, contemplating whether to drink the coffee or not.—
He did. A free drink is indeed hard to say no to anyway.

***

Their class went by smoothly, with Taehyung drifting in and out of sleep, but still awake most of
the time, thanks to Jeongguk's 'odd' kindness that keeps on messing up his mind.

They agreed to meet at the library again after Jeongguk's meeting with the rest of the student
council, so Taehyung's now here, waiting because unfortunately they got no volleyball practice.

"So you're awake this time. That's nice." Jeongguk says, approaching Taehyung who's been
keeping himself busy by chewing off the eraser of his pencil.

"Tch, liar. The coffee you made me drink was so bitter." Taehyung says, refusing to look on
Jeongguk's way as the latter takes a seat beside him on the long table.

"It's coffee, Kim. It's supposed to at least taste a bit bitter. It's not my fault you have a palate of a
three year old." Taehyung says, clicking his tongue in annoyance as he slides the notes he wrote
for their project on Jeongguk's side.

"You wrote this?" Jeongguk asks, staring at Taehyung's hand written notes, filled with accurate
definitions and plausible ideas they could use.

"I'm not illiterate, Jeon. Get off your high horse." Taehyung says, and as much as Jeongguk wanted
to take offense to that, he decided to just let it pass so they can work in peace and finish this damn
project fast.

"Ceasefire. Can we do that?" Jeongguk says, fixing his glasses before meeting Taehyung's gaze.

"Didn't know we're in war.— Are we?"

"I don't know, you tell me." Jeongguk says, voice dropping a few octaves lower than his normal
tone; hating how his heart keeps on beating rapidly inside his chest upon noticing the close
proximity between their faces.

"Never mind. Let's just get this started so I can get out of here already." Taehyung says, breaking
the awkward eye contact, finally.

"R-right... I'll get the reference, stay here." Jeongguk says, getting up on his feet, leaving the table
for a while so he could breathe.

...
Jeongguk then returned with a stack of books they could use as a reference for their project,
handing Taehyung half of it before returning back to his seat.

"Why are you so cool with this? Don't you hate me? Why are you pretending that you don't?"
Taehyung asks, blurting out what's on his mind; taking Jeongguk by surprise.

"M-me?"

"Yeah... You.—." Taehyung says, pausing when he sees the panicked expression on Jeongguk's
face. "*Sigh* Never mind. It doesn't matter anyway." Taehyung says again, taking the books and
reading it to keep himself distracted even just for a bit— because damn! Jeongguk's surely making
it hard for him.

Jeongguk did the same, yet he couldn't just shake off the randomness of Taehyung's question. He
kept on looking at the latter, trying to come up with a sensible answer.

"I said don't mind it, okay? Stop staring. You're creeping me out, honestly." Taehyung says
without sparing Jeongguk another glance, making the other alpha just sigh in response.

Thankfully, the few hours they've been spending here in the library ended up with them being
productive. They were able to decide on a topic to present and now they're working from there.

It's now 7 p.m. and Jeongguk's still busy listing down the important details of their topic so they
could divide it into parts. Honestly, he really didn't expect for Taehyung to cooperate in peace like
this, so maybe the coffee incident he regretted doing earlier, did work in his favor after all.

"I gotta go, Jeon. It's late. Let's just continue this tomorrow." Taehyung says, standing up and
aiming to leave, while Jeongguk found himself grabbing Taehyung by the arm, stopping the latter
on his tracks.

"W-wait...." Jeongguk says. He doesn't know why, but for some reason, it feels wrong to just let
Taehyung go after the latter bravely addressed the topic they've both been dismissing and been
silently avoiding for so long.

"I don't hate you. Y-you're just annoying sometimes.— That's all." Jeongguk says before letting go
of Taehyung's arm, while the latter's lips curl up to a smile.

"Pfft. If you say so. See you tomorrow, Jeon." Taehyung says with a smirk, grabbing his bag and
walking away.

"Sometimes? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with me?" Jeongguk scolds himself as soon as
Taehyung's no longer in his line of sight.

***

Hate by definition is the feeling of intense or passionate dislike towards someone. It is indeed a
strong word.— So no, Jeongguk thinks that he does not really hate Kim Taehyung.

Dislike, maybe?— But hate? Naah.

Sure, he may have been hurt due to what happened in the past and he may be annoyed by
Taehyung's constant snide remarks now, but that annoyance is still not enough to be called hatred;
and although Jeongguk may not admit this out loud, he's not really bothered in seeing that damn
annoying smile on Taehyung's face from time to time.

Box-shaped smiles and crescent eyes that still haven't changed everytime he runs around the
hallways, causing havoc, disturbing everyone's peace.— Yes, it still hasn't changed.

Taehyung's bright smile remained the same.

Don't get him wrong, it's not like he's staring at him on purpose; it's just that, anywhere he looks
and everywhere he goes, Taehyung just happens to be there. He just couldn't get rid of him. He's
like a shadow moving around Jeongguk's personal space,— always... Always meeting his gaze.

Just like right now, when Jeongguk glanced on his side and saw Taehyung averting his eyes away
from him as they both sit here at the library again after today's class; and the thing is, it's not just
today, it happened yesterday as well and the day before that, for it has been around a week since
they both started working on this project.

"Do I have something on my face?" Jeongguk finally asks. He has been itching to do so these past
few days and for some reason he just couldn't sit still and ignore it now.

"H-huh?" Taehyung asks, feigning innocence as if Jeongguk didn't just catch him stealing a
glance.

"Tch, do you have any questions on your part?" Jeongguk asks, deciding to divert the topic on their
project instead.

"No?"

"No?" Jeongguk asks back, raising a brow at Taehyung who did the same, but unlike the usual
taunting look, Taehyung has no animosity towards him in his face.

"You're not glaring at me these days. Guess, you're really serious about that ceasefire, huh?"
Taehyung asks. Honestly, he's been noticing it during the past few days that he and Jeongguk spent
time together after class. It started with Jeongguk acting quite normal towards him, instead of being
in his usual 'offense/ defense mode'. The sharp glares are long gone and so is Jeongguk's sarcastic
tone.— He became softer. Gentler. And Taehyung's starting to feel that the Jeongguk now is just
like what he was before.

That shy alpha with his big dark doe eyes and bunny smiles. Flushed cheeks, stuttered sentences.
— No pretenses.

Or maybe it's just what Taehyung thinks? Maybe it's all in his head. Maybe because they started
interacting now for their project after years since their fall out. 'Not good.' Taehyung thinks. Not
good, because he's feeling it— he's starting to care again.

He's starting to notice the damn little things again.

"I know how to keep my word, Kim. — Why? Does that bother you?" Jeongguk asks, but instead
of his usual taunting tone, the one he used now sounds a little more playful and teasing instead;
which once again caught Taehyung off guard, brows furrowed, keeping his mouth shut.

'Does that bother you?' Well, Taehyung doesn't know the answer to that. Maybe it does, maybe it
doesn't; but oddly, within these few seconds of uncertainty Taehyung found himself smiling.
"You're still full of shit, Jeon... J-just shut up and go back to work, will ya?" Taehyung says,
shaking his head while chewing on his lower lip, suppressing a wider grin from appearing on his
face.

It's happening again. Jeongguk's feeling that odd 'pull' once again. He kept his eyes on Taehyung
who's now busying himself by reading and taking down notes, and suddenly everything went in
full slow motion. The supposedly cold breeze that's coming from the open windows of the library,
now feels warm against his skin. Heat started creeping up on his cheeks, while his lips remained
frozen, making him unable to speak.

This is Kim Taehyung. The same guy who cut him off just because he scored a few more points on
their exam in highschool. Kim Taehyung, the guy who keeps on getting in his nerves,— sticking
with him like a damn curse.

'God, I'm so fucked up.' Jeongguk says, before running his mouth again.

"D-do you wanna go grab dinner with me after this? M-my friends already went home, I kinda
don't feel like eating alone." Jeongguk says, and oddly he feels no regret after saying something
rather impulsively.

Dinner with Kim Taehyung? Great.

***

They're not friends.—Not anymore at least. So why is Taehyung here, grilling up meat for the
other alpha who suddenly asked him out to eat.

"If you don't like barbeque then why did we even go here?" Taehyung asks, noticing how
Jeongguk hasn't touched his food since they arrived here around 15 minutes ago.

"I- I like meat? I'm a wolf, remember?" Jeongguk asks, snapping back from his trance. Well, he
didn't really expect Taehyung to accept his offer, so right now, he's basically contemplating his
decisions. It feels weird.— Sharing a random dinner with Kim Taehyung definitely feels weird.

"Then why aren't you eating? Gosh, you're so picky." Taehyung says, rolling his eyes at Jeongguk
before scarfing down a slice of beef.

"Hah! Me? Picky? You're the picky one between us, Kim. You can't even drink coffee!" Jeongguk
found himself speaking before he could think; words rolling out of his mouth naturally, while
Taehyung breathed out an audible scoff.

"Excuse me? I drank the coffee you gave me before, did I not?!"

"You did, then you complained how bitter it was afterwards?" Jeongguk bites back, deciding that
at least for tonight he wouldn't overthink or over calculate things. He'll just let it flow; besides, a
harmless dinner with an ex-friend wouldn't hurt.

"Because it was bitter! Ugh, seriously? The aftertaste and the smell it leaves in my mouth, I—
Pfft..."

"Pfft..." Both of them burst into a laugh, as Taehyung shoves up a slice of meat inside Jeongguk's
mouth.

"Just eat. Whether you finish your food or not, you're still paying, Mr. President." Taehyung says,
watching Jeongguk scrunch his nose, bunny smile on sight, leaving Taehyung's face with a dust of
pink flushing wildly in his cheeks as they continued with their meal.

***

It's quite odd, how both Taehyung and Jeongguk hit off naturally as soon as they started to interact
again, pretending that their vague past didn't happen. Now, they're back to talking about their
favorite movies, shows, mangas and animes as if it's only natural for them to do so. Jeongguk's the
one grilling the meat now, adding slice after slice on Taehyung's plate who kept eating until his
jaws hurt from too much chewing.

"Oh god... I'm stuffed. — You cheater! You already stopped eating an hour ago! Tell me, you're
planning on getting me fat, aren't you?" Taehyung asks, huffing out a lungful of air while patting
his stomach, back leaned on the chair, feeling a bit high from all the food he just ate.

"Pfft, it's not my fault you're insatiable, Kim... C'mon it's getting late, we should head home now,
don't you think?"Jeongguk asks,— a question he immediately regretted as soon as it left his mouth,
seeing Taehyung's smile fade to naught.

"R-right... Pay up, Jeon. I- I'll just go wait for you outside." Taehyung says. He doesn't know why,
but he kinda didn't like the idea of ending their dinner tonight. He's quite sure that Jeongguk was
about to say something but for some reason, Taehyung didn't want to hear any of it. Don't get him
wrong, he's not mad, it's just that he doesn't really want to go home—home, where he would have
to just spend his night alone.

Taehyung then lit a cigarette as soon as he stepped out, taking a deep drag of the thin smoke, letting
it hit his lungs before exhaling it slowly through his mouth. He doesn't really smoke that much, but
he does so whenever he feels the need to kill time. That's the thing about smoking actually, it keeps
you busy even if you're not really doing anything besides merely breathing. It's not a good habit
indeed, but honestly, Taehyung's not one to give a fuck about what anyone thinks.

"*Sigh* you're an athlete aren't you?" Jeongguk asks, raising a brow as he eyed the stick of cig on
Taehyung's hand, while the latter takes another drag.

"Hmm... A very good one, actually." Taehyung says before throwing the half spent stick on the
ground.

"It's bad for your health."

"So are all the meat filled with unhealthy oils you made me eat.— Pfft... Thanks for the meal,
Jeon. See you tomorrow." Taehyung says, turning around and walking away.

"Tch, too bad... I was craving for ice cream, actually. *Sigh* Not anymore, I guess." Jeongguk
mumbled under his breath, taking the opposite way while shaking his head.

***
It's another day, and even though they parted sooner than what Jeongguk wanted after having
dinner with Taehyung last night, he's walking towards the lecture hall in a fairly good mood;
thinking that maybe he could just ask Taehyung to have lunch or maybe dinner again with dessert
this time today after working on their project. It's weird really, if we think about how fast the tides
changed, and even if Jeongguk doesn't admit it out loud, he enjoyed spending time with Taehyung
again.

Sure, Jeongguk has Hobi, Joon and Yoongi as his friends, but when it comes to Taehyung, there's
just something else. As if he and the other alpha just clicked perfectly when they decided to forget
about whatever it was that caused their fallout. They share the same interests despite their very
obvious differences, and with Taehyung, Jeongguk doesn't even bother to pretend. He could be just
like himself.

"I know... Fuck that Taehyung, really... He fucked me so good I thought I wouldn't be able to walk
for days." Jeongguk flinched as he suddenly heard what Hyuno, one of their classmates, just said
while he was walking through the hallway.

"You've been at it for so long now, right? You were even his rut partner last season as well. Don't
you think it's about time for you to step up your game? Taehyung seems to fancy you a lot,
anyway." Their other omega classmate Jun-hee says, and from there Jeongguk felt like his strong
sense of hearing just ruined his whole day.

"Hyuno-ssi, Jun-hee... Shouldn't you two be in the lecture hall by now? Class's about to start."
Jeongguk says with a fake smile on his face, letting his scent reek all over the place, earning
everyone's attention, while the two omegas covered their noses, body frozen, trembling in fear;
wondering why their usually calm and collected, sweet student council president appears to be so
pissed all of a sudden.

"Y-yes... O-okay... We'll be on our way then, Jeongguk-ssi." Jun-hee says, dragging Hyuno
towards the lecture hall as they both start to sweat, feeling all their blood be drained off of their
faces.

***

"Yo, Guk— what the fuck?! You okay, man?" Hobi asks, taking a whiff of Jeongguk's strong scent
as soon as the latter enters the hall, grumpily taking the seat beside him and Joon.

"Yeah... Just peachy." Jeongguk says, still with a stern look on his face, taking a deep breath to
calm himself before their class starts for today.

...

Their class already started around fifteen minutes ago when Taehyung barged in, late as usual.
Long raven hair tousled up messily as if he just got out of bed.— Bed.

Suddenly Jeongguk feels sour again.

"You're late, Mr. Kim." Their professor says, shaking his head in distaste, but then again, there's no
point in dwelling on it, when Taehyung often if not always arrives late.
"Oh my... Yeah, you know the cat I found and fed a few days ago? He— I mean she, I just
discovered that she's a 'she' and she just had babies probably last night. I was supposed to be here
earlier y'know, but I had to get them a box, a blanket, some food and water for the new momma
—.."

"Just take your seat, Mr. Kim." Their professor says, he's used to Taehyung's alibis anyway, so
listening to such nonsense is such a waste of time for him and maybe for everyone in class as well.

"Hah, right... Okay, Mr. Han... Carry on." Taehyung says, unfazed even after seeing their professor
roll his eyes at him. He then glanced at Jeongguk with a smile, somehow hoping that the latter will
smile back since they parted rather nicely last night, but was surprised to see a sharp glare on the
other alpha's face instead.

'The heck is his problem now?' Taehyung thinks, eyeing Jeongguk in wonder as he takes his seat.

"Calm down, Guk. Your scent's starting to bother me." Joon says. They're maybe friends, but still
he's not a fan of another alpha's strong scent.

"He fucks around often, doesn't he?" Jeongguk asks in a low voice, whipping his head towards
Taehyung's direction to let Joon know whom he's talking about.

"Tae? He's an unmated alpha, Guk. Just like you. Of course he'll fuck around— again, just like
you. Basically like a normal, young and healthy alpha as he should." Joon says in a matter-of-fact
tone.

"When did I—.."

"Just because you're sneakier about it, doesn't mean that you don't. You know what I'm talking
about, right?— So, is that it? Is that the reason why you're letting your scent reek all over the
place? It's about Taehyung again?" Hobi asks, overhearing Joon and Jeongguk's conversation on
his side.

"I just forgot to eat breakfast, okay? It's not about him. Why would it be?" Jeongguk says, denying
it of course for there's use in admitting how he feels anyway, aside from maybe embarrassing
himself more.

"Pfft, just say you like the guy and go, Guk. You may be able to fool everyone, but not us
y'know?" Hobi says, making Jeongguk breathe out an audible scoff, earning the attention of the
whole class.

"Jung, Kim, Jeon, do you have anything you wanna share to all of us?!" Their professor says,
annoyed after being disturbed twice in a row now; eyes glaring red at the other three alphas who
just lowered their heads.

"That's bullshit Hobs... I'm telling you, what you just said was nothing but pure bullshit." Jeongguk
says, gritting his teeth as he whispers his answer to Hobi, who decided to just sigh and ignore
Jeongguk's sad ways of denying his already obvious feelings.

Others may not notice it either because Jeongguk kept on hiding it well or because they don't know
Jeongguk at all, which doesn't apply to both of the latter's best friends. Joon and Hobi basically
grew up with Jeongguk which means that they know him very well. For them, it was quite easy to
spot how Jeongguk's facade drops when it comes to Kim Taehyung; it's as if he's always on the
edge. He notices even the tiniest of details. He pretends that he's pissed all while failing to hide that
small smile on his face at the slightest sight or mention of Taehyung's name.
Yep, Jeongguk could deny it all he wants, but at least when it comes to his best friends; Joon and
Hobi knows that Jeongguk has been whipped for the other alpha maybe since freshman year.—
Though they're still not sure if the two got any history, for Jeongguk tends to always avoid the
topic.

***

"Aren't you and Taehyung got a project to do? I bumped into him earlier and he said he'll be
waiting for you at the library." Joon asks, since Jeongguk's still here, lounging at the student
council office even though the meeting already ended an hour ago. Joon isn't really a member of
the student council, though he likes to drop by from time to time to assist Jeongguk with his tasks,
given that he's one of the few people the latter really trusts.

"Hah! Me? Well, he could just hangout with Hyuno if he wants. I've done my part on that project,
and as you can see,—I'm busy." Jeongguk says, even though he's just playing games on his phone
right now.

"I don't know what happened, but you've been acting weird since this morning, Guk. Your
pheromones were everywhere, you even scared some omegas off. Seriously, what's the problem?"
Joon asks again, hoping that this time Jeongguk will spill and let him know what's really
happening.

"*Sigh* you won't let this go, don't you, hyung?" Jeongguk asks back, sighing in defeat, seeing that
Joon's adamant in letting him speak.

"Just tell me Guk, you know me and Hobi can keep a secret." Joon says, and this time Jeongguk
felt like it's okay to tell his piece to his best friend. — So he did.

He told Joon about the history between him and Taehyung. How they started out being friends
back in highschool and how they grew apart, taking them to what they are now.— The damn
confusingly vague chaos that they are now.

"So basically, you fell for him that's why you decided to call it quits, huh?" Joon asks, giving his
take after hearing Jeongguk's side of the story.

"I never said anything about falling for him, hyung. It just happened, I guess. He avoided me and
so I avoided him back. I'm not one to chase anyone and you know that." Jeongguk says, still
dismissing the thought of him having feelings for Taehyung,— romantically, that is.

"C'mon Guk, you also know what I'm talking about. You said it yourself. You chased him. That is
until you freaked out when you realized that it was really happening. You just couldn't accept the
fact that you're starting to like him, or maybe you already did— you already like him, that's why
you ran away to not complicate things." Joon says, reading Jeongguk like an open book.

"Tch, I told you hyung. It's not like that—.."

"Talk to him. He must still be there at the library. — You'll never know... Maybe you need not to
run away anymore. I have to go. Jimin's waiting for me." Joon says, tapping Jeongguk by the
shoulder before stepping out of the room.

"Tsk. No... There's just no way that I like that... That.... That damn alpha." Jeongguk says, hissing
as he gets to his feet a few minutes after Joon left, finding himself walking towards the library,
despite denying what Joon said.
...

"Naah... He won't be here.— Yup... I knew it. He's not here." Jeongguk says, yet he couldn't ignore
the slight pang he felt inside his chest when he saw the empty table where he kinda expected
Taehyung to be.

It's already past 7 in the evening, and it's pouring hard when Jeongguk stepped out of the building
alone. The skies are grey and judging from how strong the wind is, there's probably a storm
coming tonight, just when he didn't bring his car with him this morning. "Great... Surely, it couldn't
get worse than this, right?" Jeongguk mumbled under his breath, mouthing a silent 'fuck' when he
failed to find an umbrella inside his bag.

After waiting for another fifteen minutes, Jeongguk realized that the rain had no plans of stopping
tonight. Tired and impatient to go home, he then removed his jacket, using it to cover his head
before running through the university grounds despite being drenched in the rain.

He was almost near the exit when he caught a whiff of a familiar scent of rosewood, mixed with
patchouli and a bit of lime, coming from nearby. — There, by the huge tree behind the university
gates is Kim Taehyung, shivering while sitting under the rain.

"H-hey! What the hell are you doing there?! It's pouring hard! Can't you see?!" Jeongguk yelled,
rushing towards Taehyung, hovering his jacket over the latter's head; which eventually made him
breathe out a scoff in disbelief when he saw the reason why Taehyung's still here.

"Sshh... You're startling the babies, Jeon. Tone it down will ya?" Taehyung whispers, letting out
more of his scent to calm the mother cat who's currently nursing her seven babies inside the box
while Taehyung covers them using both of his already shaking hands.

"Y-you're crazy..." Jeongguk says in a soft tone now, realizing that the absurd 'cat rescue' story
Taehyung has been telling their professors everytime he comes in late at first period is indeed true.
Which means that Taehyung probably wasn't late because he was spent fucking that
blabbermouthed omega, Hyuno.

"And you're late.— I've been waiting for you at the library before it started raining. Tch, I even left
my bag there, y'know?" Taehyung says, glancing up at Jeongguk who's now frozen in place.

"Y-you were waiting for me?" Jeongguk asks, still in utter disbelief.

"Ah-huh... Obviously— hey! What are you doing?" Taehyung asks, shocked when Jeongguk
suddenly pulls him up before swiftly, taking the whole box, still with the momma cat and her
kittens inside.

"Tch, you chicken head. The rain won't stop, we need to get them inside before we all drop dead
from hypothermia." Jeongguk says, turning to rush the cats back inside their department building,
and maybe to hide the obvious flush of pink that's now dusted all over his face while Taehyung ran
after him, laughing and calling his name.

***

It's still raining hard outside as Taehyung and Jeongguk sneak back inside the student council
office, creating trails of wet puddles from both their soaked shoes. Thankfully the mother cat oddly
remained calm despite being handled by two dominant wolves. Maybe because she knows that they
meant her and her kittens no harm based on their pheromones. The two transported the small
family under Jeongguk's desk, keeping them all warm there, while both of them sat on the floor,
back leaned against the wall, sitting beside each other.

"So you're not lying about your ridiculous cat story, I guess?" Jeongguk asks as they both watch the
mother cat nurse her babies.

"I'm not a liar, Jeon.— I mean not to brag, but I've been spending most of my lunch money on this
momma's treats. They're cute, right?" Taehyung says, smiling softly as he pets the cat gently,
making it purr against his skin as if saying thanks in her own way and own language.

"Why were you late?—No, why have you been so salty towards me since this morning?"
Taehyung decided to ask, since he actually had no idea why Jeongguk kept on glaring at him since
he arrived in class today.

"I—... I forgot to eat breakfast." Jeongguk lies, for to be honest even he himself doesn't know the
answer to that. He doesn't know why he was so pissed after he heard Hyuno talking about how
good he was fucked by Taehyung, and how that fox-like looking omega was the latter's rut partner
last mating season. It makes no sense even for Jeongguk, because he as an alpha also got a rut
partner with no strings attached, but thinking about Taehyung sharing the mating bed with another
wolf totally ruins his mood, that he couldn't even control his scent and pheromones from spiking
up, reeking all over the place, putting his damn perfect facade at risk from being found out; that
despite everything he's been doing to remain spotless,— he's not perfect after all.

Jeon Jeongguk still knows how to be jealous.— So damn, jealous that is.

All because of another alpha.

All because of Kim Taehyung.

"Pfft... You're so cranky. And here I am wondering if you're mad at me again... Thought, you
would ignore me again." Taehyung says, hugging himself, feeling the cold seep under his skin
from being drenched under the rain.

"Why? Does that bother you?" Jeongguk asks. He's pretty sure, he already asked this question
before and it feels like damn deja Vu, especially when Taehyung turned his face towards him,
meeting his gaze with those pretty eyes of his, long lashes, flushed cheeks, licking his plump and
soft looking lips while he's finding the right words to speak.

"Y-yeah... I don't like that. Don't ignore me again, Jeongguk. Can you do that?" Taehyung asks,
voice dropping low, leaving Jeongguk almost breathless in front of him. As if he's now under a
spell, Jeongguk found himself absentmindedly nodding his head.

"A-alright... I won't." Jeongguk says, failing to notice how his body's now moving on its own,
leaning closer and closer, eyes fixed on Taehyung's lips; both feeling how the air suddenly
thickened around them.

*Meow...*

The cat suddenly made a sound, making both the two alphas snap back from their trance, pulling
back as if they've just been burnt, awkwardly looking away from each other.

"R-right... We should go. It's no longer raining, we can now walk home." Taehyung says, getting
on his feet, leaving Jeongguk's office almost immediately, while Jeongguk couldn't find the
strength to stand, for his knees suddenly feels like it just turned into jelly.

"Such a damn tease you are, Kim..." Jeongguk says to himself, gently poking the cat's nose with
his fingertips, as a small smile then curls up on his lips.

***

*Cough...cough...*

"You okay, Tae?" Jin asks, noticing that Taehyung looks pale and he's been coughing throughout
their whole practice game this morning.

"Y-yeah... 's just a cold. I'll be fine." Taehyung says.— A lie actually, because not only did he get
drenched in the rain last night, but also he wasn't able to sleep thinking about what could've
happened between him and Jeongguk saying they didn't get interrupted by the cat.

Today is the school festival and their volleyball game will be the opening event this morning.
Taehyung feels sick and dizzy, but he can't lose this nor tap out after all the months they've spent
training hard.

"Are you sure? We can call a sub, y'know?" Jimin asks, noticing Taehyung's complexion as well.

"Naah, *Cough... Cough...* I'll be fine. Let's go?" Taehyung says, leading his team towards the
gym, while Jin and Jimin exchange knowing looks, aware that Taehyung's probably just pushing
himself.

***

"Wow, guess someone's excited for the match today, huh?" Joon asks in a teasing tone, finding
Jeongguk seated at the front row bleachers, watching the volleyball team do their rounds at the
court.

"Tch, quit it, hyung. I'm just here to observe. I'm basically in charge of everything today,
remember?" Jeongguk says, denying it of course; for truth be told, Joon's right. He woke up at
freaking 5 in the morning, taking a cold shower and rushing here at the gym to watch Taehyung's
game, even though he could just leave the event to his secretary's care.

"Hah, whatever kid. If I know— Wait, is Taehyung okay?" Joon asks, noticing how Taehyung's
already sweating so much even if it's just the warm-ups.

"Why wouldn't he be? He's been practicing for months. Of course he'll be in his top shape— shit..."
Jeongguk then curses under his breath, remembering that Taehyung did get wet under the rain last
night.

"Excuse me?" Joon asks, breathing out a scoff because this may be the first time he had ever heard
Jeongguk curse out loud for years.

"Can we pull him out? I don't think he's fine." Jeongguk says, getting up on his feet, now noticing
how pale Taehyung's face is.

"Well, you can, given your authority and all, but I don't think you should. The game's about to start
and by the looks of it, Tae got no plans of sitting this one out." Joon says, watching as Taehyung
gathers his team 3 minutes before the game begins.

"Tch. What was he thinking, really?" Jeongguk hissed, clicking his tongue in annoyance before
making his way down the team's bench, standing beside the coach who's silently wondering what
the student council president is doing here.

"Kim's not feeling well. Are you sure you're gonna let him play?" Jeongguk asks as the referee
blows the whistle, signalling the game to begin.

"Kim? Kim who, Jeongguk-ssi?" The coach asks.

"Kim Taehyung, can't you see? He looks like a damn zombie out there." Jeongguk says, holding
his voice back even if he wanted to scream at this coach to pull Taehyung out.

"*Sigh* I—.."

"I tried telling him to tap out, but he won't." Jimin suddenly says, overhearing Jeongguk's
conversation with their coach while he's sitting here at the bench.

"Seriously? You guys are letting him play in that condition? Just look at him—.."

"He just scored a point." The coach says, seeing Taehyung spike the ball in perfect form. Well he
could really pull Taehyung out, but knowing the kid, he knows that Taehyung wouldn't want that.

"You're impossible..." Jeongguk huffs out a lungful of air, frustrated because the coach is just
letting the game proceed, despite Taehyung being obviously sick.

"Calm down Jeonggukkie. He'll be fine. I'm not sure if you know, but no one can really tell
Taehyung to back out when he's already settled his mind on something.— He wants that trophy, so
he's gonna get that damn trophy. That's just how he is, unfortunately." Jimin says, noticing the
agitation in Jeongguk's tone. He's also worried, but knowing Taehyung, he knows that the alpha
will be fine. Taehyung even played with damn measles back in freshman year and won two sets in
a row securing their victory. Sure he was penalized for it, but in the end everything turned out
alright.

Just like now, with the first set ending in their team's favor, while Taehyung staggers on his feet,
grabbing on Seokjin's shoulders as they walk back to the bench to drink water.

"Nice set!—.."

"I'm pulling you out." Jeongguk suddenly says, grabbing Taehyung by the arm, holding the latter
firmly in place which shocked the team as well as the audience who are all witnessing what's
happening.

"The fuck are you saying?" Taehyung asks, breath hitching when Jeongguk cups his cheeks, before
moving one hand towards his forehead.

"You're burning up, Kim! Hello?! I won't let you play—.."

"S-shut up... Get off me, will ya? I need to play. It's the opening match! I- I need to be here."
Taehyung says, pulling his arm away from Jeongguk's grip, eyes flashing red, showing the other
alpha that he is indeed serious about this.

"Tae, Jeongguk has a point. You're sick—.."

"One more set. If you don't win with this one then I'm pulling you out. If I need to drag your ass out
of that court, I will.—Don't try me, Taehyung." Jeongguk suddenly says, seeing Taehyung's will to
win. He's still worried but Taehyung's an alpha— a stubborn one that is, so he won't stop until he
get what he wants, just like what Jimin said and Jeongguk knows that for sure, he's the same
Taehyung in his own way after all.

"Is that a threat, Jeon?" Taehyung asks, cocking his head on the side, smiling lazily at Jeongguk.

"Yes. A real one. So go... Make it quick, and don't you dare die on me, understood?" Jeongguk
says, ignoring how weird their exchange might sound to others who aren't really used in seeing
them interact so openly.

"Pfft... Gosh, you're so dramatic.— You heard the nerd guys. Let's go bag that gold." Taehyung
says, flashing a playful wink at Jeongguk before running back towards the court.

He did by the way. He did bag that gold, so now he's here being dragged by Jeongguk towards the
clinic even before his whole team cheers for him after leading them to their win.

"Pfft, did you see that? Hah! That last score I made was fucking epic!" Taehyung says, feeling high
from beating their team's opponent and from the fever that's fucking up his brain, making his knees
grow weak that he almost fell down, if not for Jeongguk catching him in his arms.

"I did, and I can also see that you're about to die right now. So you better walk faster, Kim. We're
almost at the clinic." Jeongguk says, pulling Taehyung still, while the latter just continued giggling
all weak behind him.

***

"Rest." Jeongguk says, pushing Taehyung down the bed, throwing a blanket at him, all while
keeping a straight face. He's not really sure why he's feeling like this, but he just couldn't sit still.
As if his head and his body refuses to function well until he sees that Taehyung's okay,— which is
weird.

Absolutely weird, not just for him but maybe for both of them.

"What's with you today, Jeon? You never cared like this before." Taehyung asks, yet there's
hostility in his tone— he's genuinely curious, that's all.

"First you got drenched in the rain last night, then you left when we could've just taken a cab. Now
you're sick and you still played that damn game—.."

"And won it, by the way. Flashily, even." Taehyung says, eyes never leaving Jeongguk's gaze.

"You sure did. But look at you now? You almost passed out there, Tae..." Jeongguk says, words
rolling out of his mouth like a sweet melody in Taehyung's ears, making the other alpha be dazed,
drowning in Jeongguk's dark doe eyes that slowly turned red, and so did his.

"Why? Does that bother you?" Taehyung asks, absentmindedly using Jeongguk's own words
towards the latter.

Normally, Jeongguk would've pulled and stepped back. Normally he would deny it with a frown,
but for some reason today, Jeongguk didn't feel like breaking eye contact.
"And if it does?—Then what?" Jeongguk asks, voice dropping low. He didn't realized that he's
already leaning down, palms laid flat in the bed, face less than an inch from Taehyung's, making
the other alpha gulp, crimson eyes, staring down in Jeongguk's lips, feeling his mouth run dry, as
the air again suddenly grew thick.

*Knock...knock...*

"Tae! Oh, thank God you're okay! Nice game by— .. by the way?" Jimin then stopped in his tracks
and so are Jin, Joon,Hobi, Yoongi; basically the whole gang is suddenly here, leaving Jeongguk
launching himself back in a split second before the others could see what was happening— rather,
what was about to happen, say they didn't barged in.

"Don't tell me, you two are fighting again? Guk, give Taehyung a break will ya?" Hobi says,
clueless that the two were doing anything but fighting before they entered the room.

"Y-yeah... I should leave. I have a festival to manage.— You..." Jeongguk says, pointing Taehyung
who's just sitting there, frozen in bed, eyes still on him, deciding to stay silent. "Stay there and rest.
You've won your game so don't do anything until you feel better, okay?" Jeongguk says, turning to
leave as fast as he could, pretending that he did not see their friends exchanging teasing and
knowing looks.

***

Taehyung's still here, resting in bed while Jin and Jimin plays on their phone, waiting for the nurse
to arrive and check on Taehyung; while Joon, Hobi and Yoongi already left around fifteen minutes
ago to work on their designated tasks for the school festival and for the program that's scheduled
tonight.

"So... What happened?" Jin decided to finally break the silence, seeing that Taehyung had no plans
of resting anyway. He's just staring blankly into space.

"W-what?" Taehyung asks, pretending not to know what Jin meant by that.

"Everybody has been talking about it, Tae... I'm sure you know what I mean, but in case you still
wanna hear it, then I'm gonna ask you again— what happened? Why did Jeon Jeongguk of all
people look like he was about to throw hands at our couch for letting you play earlier? And why
did he act like a protective lover, dragging you out after the game with a damn worried sick
expression on his face?" Jin asks, going straight to the point now, while Jimin just nodded in
response, also curious to hear how Taehyung will answer to that.

"I- I have no idea what you're talking about, hyung..."

"C'mon, Tae... You were at each other's throats just last week, then now you're both acting as if
you're attached to the hip. I saw it alright. I was there sitting at the bench, enduring Jeonggukkies's
not so silent barrage of curses everytime the score went to our opponent.— That's totally new, you
know that. For fucks sake it's Jeon Jeongguk, we're talking about." Jimin says, also spilling his
thoughts out loud for as much as they would like to keep mum about it, he and Jin are now itching
to hear at least something.

"P-please... Can we.. uhm... Talk about it some other time? I would really like to rest now."
Taehyung says, for as much as he wants to tell his friends his side of the story, he doesn't actually
know where to start, not to mention he's still not feeling well right now.
"*Sigh* Fine. But you'll tell us next time, right? We're your friends, Tae. You're not alone. If you
need someone to talk to, y'know we're here... We got you." Jimin says, passing a knowing look
towards Jin, silently telling the older not to push it as he tucks Taehyung to bed, leaving the clinic
just in time as the nurse stepped in.

'How could I even tell you guys, when I myself have no idea what's happening... Seriously, Jeon
Jeongguk, what are you doing to me?' Taehyung asks in his thoughts, closing his eyes and forcing
himself to sleep.

***

It's already around 5 in the afternoon when Taehyung woke up. Thankfully it seems that his fever
has died down after taking the medicine the nurse gave him twice, waking him up from his sleep
from time to time.

"Oh my, are you feeling okay now Taehyung-ssi? I just checked your temperature and it looks like
you don't have a fever anymore. Though I would still advise you to just go home and rest for
tonight,— it's a shame I know. It's the school festival after all; but then, we don't want you falling
sick again, right?" Nurse Shin says, giving him another pill to take before sending Taehyung
home.

"Right... Thanks, Nurse Shin. I'll be on my way then." Taehyung says before exiting the clinic. He
still feels a bit lightheaded, but not as much as earlier. It is really a shame that he got sick today,
knowing full well that there's a lot of fun activities tonight at the school festival, not to mention that
he'll be missing a few points for not joining their class's booth for today, whatever theme they have
chosen.

He's now on his way towards the gym's locker room to get his things, when he suddenly feels a tug
on his arms, stopping him.

"God, Taehyung-ssi! Finally! Come, we're short on hands y'know?" Aera one if their alpha
classmates says, pulling Taehyung towards the lecture hall instead.

"H-hey... I was actually about to—.."

"The customers are piling up, and a chunk of our alphas in class didn't bother to show up.— Ugh, I
can't stand them and their toxic masculinity! Good thing you're now here. Wear this okay? I'll do
your make up afterwards." Aera says, pushing a paper bag with clothes inside against Taehyung's
chest.

"M-make up? What do you mean? And... and what the fuck is this?" Taehyung asks, lifting the
fancy maid costume and thigh highs from the bag.

"Costume? Duuh?— See? I'm wearing one too." Aera says, pointing at herself wearing the same
thing.

"You're a girl, Aera. I'm not."

"And an alpha. Tch, you guys agreed to this remember? Alphas are to wear these while omegas
whether females or not will wear a suit. Reversed roles!— Oh, Tae, please not you too... I've been
having a serious headache since this morning and peak hours are about to start at 6.— Just... Just
wear this, okay? It's for the class, nothing personal." Aera says, walking out of the lecture to let
Taehyung dress up, before she hears another complaint from the latter's mouth. It's their fault for
not listening when they were discussing the theme anyway; they just agreed without really
knowing what's in it for them.

...

"*Sigh* Seriously, this doesn't even fit right! It's too short!" Taehyung says, face red as he pulls
down the skirt, while Aera busies herself by styling his hair, securing the headband on him as fast
as she could.

"Sorry about the size, it's supposed to be Jeonggukkie's but I had to switch it up. Who knew that
prez' built so big! He's wearing yours, since it's the only pair that fits him earlier." Aera says,
dusting a blush on Taehyung's cheeks before applying a bit of gloss on his lips.

"J-Jeon's wearing this too?" Taehyung asks.

"Ah-huh... He's an alpha too, remember?— A very stressed one that is. So c'mon now, you're all
done." Aera says, once again dragging Taehyung towards the university grounds where their booth
is settled up.

***

Taehyung feels like he's about to pass out. Not from his fever, but because all eyes are on him now
the moment he stepped inside the booth. All their classmates and some of the customers from other
departments are now eyeing him from head to toe, and Taehyung usually doesn't mind attention,
but for some reason, right now, he feels so exposed.

"I- I don't think this is a good idea, Aera. I look funny. I don't like it." Taehyung says, still pulling
the skirt up from the front, making it rise up from the back which made him feel a slight breeze
hitting his thighs from there. The length shouldn't bother him, since he's been wearing shorts even
shorter than this, but then again, what he's wearing now aren't sport shorts, it's a damn skirt for
fucks sake, and he's not even wearing boxers underneath, but just a pair of black bikini briefs.—
Fuck.

"You look fine, Tae—.."

"Oh my god, Taehyung! Wow!" Jimin suddenly says as he approaches him and Aera. He's an
omega so he's wearing a waiters suit, dressed up as well.

"Chim..." Taehyung whines, stomping his feet, reminding him that he's wearing the heels Aera had
prepared for him as well, black thigh high stockings going all the way up above his knees.

"Gosh, you look bomb!— But hey, are you feeling okay now? Shouldn't you be resting at home?"
Jimin says, remembering that Taehyung has been sick since this morning.

"Oh, I would love to—.."

"Enough chit chatting you two! Here, Tae, please bring this to the kitchen and serve it to table five,
alright?" Aera says, handing a piece of paper with the customer's order to Taehyung before pulling
Jimin to serve the other table.

Luckily, Taehyung doesn't feel so out of place now after bumping into Hobi and Joon who's
wearing the same maid's outfit like his, both complimenting his looks and asking him if he's now
okay; and the thing is, Taehyung doesn't feel okay— not even one bit, but he decided to just suck it
up, since the booth's about to close in two hours anyway.

He's on his way to have another order be prepared, when he suddenly stopped in his tracks, mouth
running dry at the sight of the man in front of him right now.

"O-oh..." Taehyung hates how he lets out a sound that doesn't really sound right as he eyes
Jeongguk from head to toe. The poor buttons of his lacy top's about to pop out, toned strong thighs
on display and wait... Is that a full sleeve tattoo on his insanely muscular biceps and arms? He's
still wearing his nerdy glasses, but for some reason Taehyung feels like he's looking at a different
person now, because surely, this man right here looks nothing like the usual Jeon Jeongguk in his
dress shoes and preppy clothes.

"W-what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at home right now? A-and, what the hell
are you wearing?!" Jeongguk asks, feeling his heart beating rapidly inside his chest as he takes a
good look at Taehyung's frame in this outfit.

"T-the same as yours?" Taehyung says, feigning a matter-of-fact tone, cheeks flushing even redder
when Jeongguk started to shamelessly check him out in front of others.

"Yeah... I can see that." Jeongguk says, subtly clenching his jaws; hating how his eyes lingered at
every part of Kim Taehyung. Pretty face dusted with a hint of makeup, gloss on his already plump
lips, waist cinched, toned but still plump thighs on display, not to mention the skirt he's wearing
that for some reason, seems to be lacking some fabric.

Jeongguk's already used to seeing Taehyung's skin every time he watches their volleyball games,
but this one feels different. As if there's a certain aura that suddenly switched around the alpha now
that he's wearing some rather feminine clothing. He looks soft.— So soft, actually that Jeongguk's
starting find him oddly alluring.

"Tae! We need two bottles of soju for table four!" Aera says, walking towards her fellow alpha's.
"Are you two okay? You look red, both of you.— Are you sick?" She asks, which made Jeongguk
break eye contact with Taehyung.

"He's sick. I'm not. He almost passed out after the game this morning Aera-yah... He shouldn't be
here." Jeongguk says, realizing that he should be sending Taehyung home instead of wasting time
gawking at him now.

"Oh my... Why didn't you tell me, Tae?" Aera asks, tone laced in concern now.

"*Sigh* I tried to alright.— Nevermind. We're about to close anyway, so let's just wrap this up."
Taehyung says, leaving the scene almost immediately so that he could breathe.

"You're drooling, prez. Pfft."Aera says in a teasing tone, seeing how Jeongguk's eyes then followed
Taehyung as the latter walks away, hips swaying naturally, accentuated by his cinched waist.

"W-what? No I'm not—.."

"Byul's looking for you by the way. The program's about to start. You can leave now, we can
handle it from here." She says, since Jeongguk's gonna be a part of the program tonight as well.

"B-but-..."

"No buts... Go on now. Don't worry we'll be there cheering for you and the band." Aera says,
pushing Jeongguk away; and that's thing.— Jeongguk doesn't really feel like leaving, not after
seeing Taehyung in that tiny maid's outfit.
"C-can you watch that guy for me at least. He's sick. Just make sure he doesn't overwork himself
again." Jeongguk says, ignoring the fact that he probably sounds weird right now.

"Hmm... When did you two become chummy?" Aera teases again.

"Aera-yah." Jeongguk says with a hint of warning

"Pfft, fine. I'll keep an eye on him. Good luck out there prez!" She says, waving Jeongguk goodbye
as the latter leaves.

***

It's almost 10 in the evening when their class finished packing up everything in their booth.
Taehyung's feet hurt like hell due to him wearing heels for hours. The customers already left, all
flocking at the open stage where some live bands take turns in playing their sets.

"Oh god... I'm spent." Taehyung says, plopping down on one of the empty seats, opening a bottle
of soju for him to drink and to probably numb the pain coming from his feet.

"Tae! We're gonna go watch the band over there, wanna come?" Jimin asks with the rest of the
gang.

"Nahh... Maybe later. I kinda wanna have a drink." Taehyung says, too tired to even go inside and
change his clothes, gulping down almost half of the soju in one go.

"Alright... Just make sure not to drink too much okay? Text me if you need a ride home. Joon
brought his car so we can take you, alright?" Jimin says again before they all rush towards the
open grounds to enjoy the band.

It was then when his friends left did Taehyung realize that he hadn't seen Jeongguk since their
awkward encounter earlier, with both of them wearing this damn maid's costume. Don't get him
wrong, it's not like he wants to see him again— fine maybe he does, but you won't catch him
saying that out loud.

"When the fuck did he get those tattoos? He didn't have 'em back in highschool." Taehyung
mumbled to himself, taking another gulp of soju, hissing as the heat traveled down his throat. It's
true though, the image of Jeongguk' still lingers inside his head. Jeon Jeongguk since freshman
year has always been wearing long sleeves, coats or jackets no matter what season it is, and now
Taehyung knows why. It's probably because of the intricate art that's decorating his whole right
arm.

"Tch, whatever... I need another drink." Taehyung says again, popping another bottle of soju open.
He continued to drink until he stopped feeling the pain from his feet, throwing his empty bottles on
the trash bin before walking towards the audience as another band entered the stage.

It maybe because of the alcohol that Taehyung thinks he's now seeing things; like how Jeon
fucking Jeongguk again is on the stage, wearing a simple black hoodie, white t-shirt underneath,
and tight ripped jeans, chucks on his feet, singing a song with the band, voice sounding like honey
on Taehyung's ears.
*Ain't never felt this way

Can't get enough so stay with me

It's not like we got big plans

Let's drive around town holding hands...*

Taehyung then froze in his place.

Suddenly, it feels like the scene went into full slow motion.

Suddenly, everything's now in dim monochrome and the only colors that Taehyung sees are those
from Jeon Jeongguk and Jeongguk alone.

*Oh, my heart hurts so good

I love you, babe, so bad, so bad, oh

Oh, my heart hurts so good

I love you, babe, so bad, so bad...*

'ba-dum... ba-dum...' Taehyung hears his own heart beat inside his chest as he then holds his
breath, meeting Jeongguk's deep gaze with none of his thick rimmed glasses in the way.

*Mad cool in all my clothes

Mad warm when you get close to me

Slow dance these summer nights

Our disco ball's my kitchen light...*

"Shit..." Taehyung hissed under his breath, licking his lips nervously, realizing that Jeongguk really
is now staring at him and just him among all the people here in the audience with him.

*Yeah and you need to know

That nobody could take your place, your place

And you need to know

That I'm hella obsessed with your face, your face...*

It's happening again. Taehyung's feeling that damn pull again, the same kind of magnet that made
him pull back from Jeongguk back in high school.— Yes, it was never about the grades, nor him
falling in second place, for those are just the sad results of what Taehyung felt back then.

He found himself gravitating more and more towards Jeon Jeongguk, the new alpha who just came
in at their last year of highschool, distracting Taehyung from his studies, making him spend almost
all his time thinking about Jeongguk, his dark doe eyes and bunny smiles. He pulled back, because
he was scared to get burned say he continued to get closer. He pulled back, because Jeon Jeongguk
keeps on making him feel as if he's not sober; and it's happening again.

Here... Right now at this very moment.

*Oh, my heart hurts so good

I love you, babe, so bad, so bad, oh

Oh, my heart hurts so good

I love you, babe, so bad, so bad, oh...*

Jeongguk continued to sing the last lines of the song, while Taehyung found himself running away,
staggering on his feet, pushing through the crowd that's in his way.

"Hey! Watch it!— Oh.... Isn't this the great Kim Taehyung?!" Song Chanwoo from the soccer team
says, smirking smugly when Taehyung bumped into him, falling ass down on the floor.

"Shit, Chanwoo! Fuck off!" Taehyung says, eyes glaring deep red as he picks up himself, brushing
the dust off of the damn skirt he's still wearing. Skirt— 'shit' Taehyung hissed under his breath,
realizing that he's still wearing this stupid maid costume.

"Pfft, look at you being so feisty as usual.—"

"I SAID FUCK OFF!" Taehyung yells, pushing Chanwoo so hard by the chest, yet the latter didn't
budge, probably because Taehyung's drunk right now.

"You looking for a fight again, Kim? Or should I call you 'kitten Kim?' meow!" Chanwoo
continues to mock Taehyung with his friends, some even had the audacity to lift Taehyung's skirt
up, exposing him more than he already is; making Taehyung see red, throwing a solid punch on the
face at one of Chanwoo's friends.

"You dare touch me huh?! You fucking dare touch me?!!!" Taehyung growls, aiming to throw
another punch again, yet Chanwoo's quick enough to dodge his attempt, while his other two friends
hold Taehyung back, grabbing both of his arms up.

The scene they're causing is now starting to get attention and Taehyung's pretty sure that the
security will be called any minute from now, which Taehyung wishes to come sooner, especially
since he's obviously outnumbered by these nasty alphas that are circling him around.
Taehyung is indeed strong. Strong even when he's all drunk from consuming too much alcohol. He
managed to squirm out of the alpha's grip, tackling two of them on the ground, throwing one solid
punch after another. He bared his fangs, blood staining his knuckles. He tried alright, he's not one
to go down without a fight, but then again he's outnumbered and soon after Taehyung found
himself lying on his back, with Song Chanwoo straddling his waist, gripping the back of his hair
tightly within his fist.

"Think you can take all of us, huh? You're not the shit you think you are, Kim Taehyung. You
fucking—..."

Jeongguk then lost himself, seeing Taehyung being under some other filthy alpha here at the
university grounds after his band's set. His eyes turned to its original hue of full black with deep
crimson pupils, known only for the elite type of alpha that he is; and just like that, Song Chanwoo
flew a few feet away from Taehyung as Jeongguk launched himself at him, growling as he threw a
series of solid punches as Chanwoo's face, making the latter bleed, begging for Jeongguk to stop
yet Jeongguk seem to not be hearing anything.

This nasty piece of shit dare lay his hands on Taehyung. He made him bleed, so Jeongguk thinks
that it's just right for him to return the favor.— Return it ten folds.

"JEONGGUK STOP! YOU'LL KILL HIM!" Taehyung says, using all his strength to stop
Jeongguk from attacking Chanwoo, gasping when met Jeongguk's sharp glare, eyes turned full
black and red, a terrifying sight even for a pure blooded alpha like Taehyung himself.

"S-stop... It's okay... I'm okay... Fuck, let's go.— And you, say a word about this and you're all
dead. I mean it." Taehyung says, threatening everyone around, especially Chanwoo and his friends,
leaving them all in silence, for they know that Kim Taehyung isn't bluffing. Aside from the fact
that Taehyung's a pretty strong alpha himself, it's Taehyung's family that actually scares them.

He never really used this to threaten anyone, but everyone knows who he really is,—Kim
Taehyung, second son of the infamous chaebol, Kim Taewon. The man who basically owns all of
Seoul.

Taehyung then pulled Jeongguk away from the crowd, running towards God knows where. He just
wants them both to be out of sight.

"God, what were you thinking?! You almost killed the guy!" Taehyung says, letting go of
Jeongguk's hand as soon as they reached their department's back building.

"I—... Shit... Fuck this shit!" Jeongguk says, cursing at himself, groaning and growling, still
feeling the intense bloodlust running through his veins.— That is until Taehyung cups his face.

"Look at me Jeon... Calm down... Breathe.— Yeah... Just like that... Breathe." Taehyung says,
aware that elite alphas wolves are indeed hard to tame. Jeongguk's kind are meant to stay at the top
of the food chain. They're usually viscously dominant to the point of going feral if they fail to
control their instincts; and Taehyung's supposed to be scared. He knew that Jeongguk's an alpha,
but he has no idea that he's an elite, and knowing that now, Taehyung knows that if Jeongguk
continues to lose it, he wouldn't be able to handle him.

"Shh... Yes... Breathe... Mm-hmm, just like that baby... Breathe." Taehyung continues to calm
Jeongguk down, pressing their foreheads together, letting Jeongguk follow his deep takes of
breaths, until Jeongguk's head falls on his shoulder, face buried at the crook Taehyung's neck as his
eyes turns back to normal again.
"Y-you good?" Taehyung asks, knees growing as Jeongguk continues to indulge himself with
Taehyung's scent.

"Don't move... I need a few moments more to calm down." Jeongguk murmurs against Taehyung's
skin, sniffing the alpha's scent deeply, while his hands grips Taehyung's waist, pulling the latter
even closer to him.

"Were you hurt?" Jeongguk says, nose still pressed on Taehyung's neck, while his lips brushes on
his skin as he speaks.

"N-no... I'm an alpha, Jeon. A few light punches won't break me." Taehyung says, breathing
heavily— no scratch that, for he doesn't even know if he's breathing right now, because what the
fuck?! Jeon Jeongguk's kissing his neck! He's full on peppering soft wet kisses all over his damn
neck and Taehyung couldn't move. He hates to admit it, but right now, he's kinda enjoying himself
especially when Jeongguk's mouth started traveling to his nape, making him tilt his head on the
side, eyes rolling back, absentmindedly granting the other alpha more access.

"Did he touch you? Hmm?" Jeongguk asks, tone lower than the damn Mariana trench, making
Taehyung breathe out a silent moan, once again failing to stop himself.

"Mnngh... No... He wouldn't dare." Taehyung says, melting as Jeongguk's hands slide down to his
hips, tracing the curve of his sides with his palms, now kissing Taehyung's throat, moving up to his
jaws... Then his ears, and that does it for Taehyung, knees giving up that clings both of his arms on
Jeongguk's neck.

"Good..." Jeongguk whispers right in Taehyung's ear; flattening his tongue against it, tasting the
heat of the latter's skin, mixed with something that's delectably sweet.

"J-Jeongguk..." Taehyung has no idea what's happening. His eyes are dazed, head empty, suddenly
feeling so damn hungry.— That is until Jeongguk pulls back, licking and biting his lower lip as if
achingly holding himself back.

"C'mon... I'll drive you home. I'm good now,— calm and all." Jeongguk says, now able to take a
hold of himself. It's not easy alright, but he knows that they shouldn't be doing this.— Not out in
the open at least.

"R-right... Let me just get my things." Taehyung says, turning to leave after embarrassing himself,
but Jeongguk stopped him by grabbing him by the arm again.

"No need, I'll just call Hobi or Joon. We— I mean, I kinda caused a scene, so it's better to let it die
down for now. I wanna rest and I don't feel like facing the dean tonight." Jeongguk says, reminding
himself of the repercussions of him going feral in front of everyone.

"O-okay... Taehyung says. Truth be told, he just cannot understand himself right now; why he's
submitting to Jeongguk's every word, but he decided to just go with the flow. He doesn't feel like
being alone right now anyway, so it's better to swallow his pride for once and be with someone,
even if that someone is Jeon Jeongguk.

Thankfully, there weren't a lot of people outside when they walked towards Jeongguk's car at the
parking lot. Both of them kept their mouths shut, still a bit shaken up after what they have done
while wondering what they have become.

Jeongguk settled himself at the driver's seat, while Taehyung took the shotgun beside him, cheeks
still flushed red, exuding that damn alluring scents of rosewood, patchouli and lime, all while shyly
pulling his skirt down that keeps on riding up on his plush thighs.

"H-here... Uhm, use this." Jeongguk says, removing his jacket, using it to cover the exposed skin
on Taehyung's legs.

"T-thanks." Taehyung says, averting Jeongguk's gaze, turning towards the tinted windows instead.
"Can you even drive? You're not wearing your glasses." Taehyung asks to muffle down the
awkward silence.

"Y-yeah... I'm wearing contacts, so it's fine. Where should I drop you by the way?" Jeongguk asks,
starting up his car.

"J-just the dorms."

"Aren't you staying at Hannamdong?" Jeongguk asks again, already driving now.

"Naah, that place is too big for me to be alone. My parents and Taejoon hyung are at
Samcheongdong." Taehyung says and it's true, he actually stopped living with his family as soon as
he graduated from highschool.

"I see... My place isn't that far from here, by the way, —" Jeongguk says, pausing to think a little.
He's not really sure, but maybe he's still not fine... Maybe he's really gone crazy tonight, for a
sudden thought just crossed his mind.

"D-do you wanna spend the night?" Jeongguk asks, and from there he knows that he's about to
royally fuck up.

"W-what?" Taehyung asks him back, cheeks heating up more, that he's starting to think that his
cold just returned.

"You just had a fever. L-let's just say that I'm still worried.— But it's okay if you refuse... I mean,
it's just a suggestion. Tomorrow's a weekend anyway, and if you have nothing else to do, then
maybe we can work on our project too." Jeongguk says, this time it's his turn to look away; too
embarrassed after saying everything he just said.

"Alright... Your place then.— Drive, Jeon. I'll order takeouts on our way." Taehyung says, hoping
he at least sounded normal despite him feeling that he's about to combust.

"Okay... Pizza should be fine." Jeongguk says, as he steps on the gas. "They're doing good by the
way. 'Jina' and her kittens." Jeongguk says, so they'll have something to talk about.

"Jina?"

"The momma cat. The student council members kept on asking me to name her at least, so I did.
You can name her kittens to be fair." Jeongguk says, eyes on the road; driving slow since he could
still feel the after effects of his outburst earlier.

"O-oh... That's fine... We can name them once they open their eyes.— Uhm... Thank you by the
way... For earlier, I mean." Taehyung says, then chewing on his lower lip.

"D-don't mention it... We're friends— uhm... Aren't we?" Jeongguk asks, subtly glancing at
Taehyung on his side.

"Yeah... Of course... We are." Taehyung says with a shy smile, and that's enough for Jeongguk to
cheer inside.
***

It was then when they both stepped inside Jeongguk's luxury apartment that Taehyung felt the urge
to seriously ask himself what the hell was he thinking for ever agreeing to this. It's so awkward,
really. He feels filthy from all the sweat and from being tackled down by Chanwoo's gang earlier,
that's why for some reason he kinda feels small by being inside Jeongguk's spotless and posh
bedroom.

"Uhm... You can wash up, the bathroom's on your left. I'll bring you a change of clothes and some
clean towels." Jeongguk says, beet red, scratching the back of his neck as he steps out of his own
room to give Taehyung some space.

'shit... What am I thinking, really?'

'shit... What am I thinking, really?' Both of them think at the same time, huffing a lungful of air as
soon as they parted.

***

Jeongguk's bathroom, just like the rest of his place, is of course spotless. Marbled black and gold
tiles, gold sink, faucets, tub and showerheads. It's basically screaming that he's rich without him
needing to say anything. It kinda reminds Taehyung of his home with his family; the proud pure-
blooded alpha pack who thinks that they own the world and everyone should bow down under
their feet.— Everyone, including Taehyung apparently, is a member of their said 'family'.

"Bet dad will flip, once he knows that I'm hanging out with an elite." Taehyung says to himself,
smiling under the shower, indulging himself with the scent of Jeongguk's shampoo and other
toiletries.

***

"S-sorry... Didn't think that my clothes are too big for you... Is that okay? I could find you a
different shirt if you like?" Jeongguk asks, noticing how his shirt suddenly looks so oversized at
Taehyung, exposing the latter's collarbones, and if he moves a little Jeongguk is sure that it's about
to slide down his shoulders.

"Tch, is that an insult, Jeon?" Taehyung asks, biting a mouthful of pizza, sitting here at the
carpeted floor of Jeongguk's bedroom. Well they could've set up the table at the kitchen, but both
of them are too lazy for that now, so they decided to just eat here instead.

"N-no... I mean, I really thought we're the same size—.."

"Hah! No, I thought we're the same size. When the fuck did you get so big and bulky? You don't
even do sports at school. Most of the time you're just locking yourself in at the student council
office." Taehyung says, taking a sip of sprite, now feeling more comfortable than earlier.

"I don't know? Puberty? Tch, I work out, obviously. I have to... Or else I would have a ton of pent
up energy, which will eventually result in what you saw earlier." Jeongguk says, and Taehyung
knows exactly what he's talking about. You see, 'elite' alphas, unlike the regulars or even the pure-
blooded ones, got a more concentrated amount of feral instincts. They came from the 'originals'
and are quite rare nowadays. So yeah, Jeongguk being one of those is still a shock for Taehyung
indeed.

"Who would've thought, huh? Nerdy Jeon's actually an elite. I almost peed my pants earlier to be
honest." Taehyung says, finishing the last slice off before leaning his back on the sides of the bed.

"I- I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you... I don't really know what has gotten into me. I just... I
just blacked out."

"..'s fine... That fucker deserves it anyway." Taehyung says, watching Jeongguk keep the now
empty pizza box on the side before jumping on the bed.

"Hmm... Where would I sleep by the way? I could take the couch, if you could lend me some extra
pillows and maybe a blanket—.."

"Here... C-can you stay here with me, Tae?" Jeongguk says, which once again caught Taehyung
off guard. Seriously, Jeon Jeongguk just keeps on surprising him tonight.

"T-there? With you?"

"Yeah... I—.." Jeongguk pauses as he suddenly feels his head throb in pain, followed by his eyes
turning black and crimson again.

"Oh gosh... Uhm, are you okay?" Taehyung asks, voice laced in worry as he rushed on Jeongguk's
side.

"Yeah— *sigh* no... Actually, I'm not okay. It's been awhile since I've let myself lose, so I need
more time to adjust." Jeongguk says, trying to steady his breath while Taehyung cups his face
again.

"W-what can I do to help?— Uhm... I mean, I'm partly the reason why you snapped earlier, so
yeah... I— I want to help." Taehyung says, and he means it. He's not gonna lie, he's flattered to
know that Jeongguk cares for him enough to go feral in his stead. Still it makes him feel a bit
guilty, for the other alpha is clearly in pain now because of him.

"Just... Just stay here.— Closer." Jeongguk says, pulling Taehyung closer to him, that the latter's
basically straddling his lap, which made Taehyung's cheeks flush pink again. "Y-your scent, for
some reason... It calms me down... So just bear with me for a while, okay?" Jeongguk says,
nuzzling his face at the crook of Taehyung's neck again, filling his senses with the latter's scent.

"Just ask me Tae... I can sense your curiosity from this distance. It's affecting your scent."
Jeongguk whispers against Taehyung's skin. They're still here, holding the same position, except
that Taehyung's now full on straddling Jeongguk's lap, while Jeongguk's face seems to be glued
already on Taehyung's neck.

"Y-you didn't tell me that you're an elite, before... Why?" Taehyung finally asks, deciding to just
be open and blurt out his questions one by one.

"I thought everybody already knew. My dad is quite well known, remember?" Jeongguk says,
gently moving his face towards Taehyung's nape.

"I— I see ... Uhm... About your tattoos. When did you get them? 's my first time seeing 'em
earlier." Taehyung asks again, feeling a bit less tense now as Jeongguk runs his hands softly
against his back, soothing him down.
"Freshman year... Jang Minwoo." Jeongguk says, pulling Taehyung even closer towards him.

"Jang Minwoo? From the basketball team? Did he convince you to have your arms be painted just
like his?" Taehyung asks, oddly tasting the bitterness of his own words after hearing that
Jeongguk's tattoos may be influenced by that famous senior alpha, Jang Minwoo.

"No... I heard you when you told him that his tattoos looks cool." Jeongguk absentmindedly says;
already dizzy from Taehyung's enchanting scent. While Taehyung found himself speechless,
cheeks burning more red.

"O-oh..." Taehyung just says.

"My turn... Why did you avoid me back in highschool Tae? Were you that upset because of our
grades?" Jeongguk asks, peppering Taehyung's nape with soft and gentle lingering kisses; feeling a
bit bold since Taehyung's letting him do so with no signs of protest.

"N-no..." Taehyung says, eyes rolling back when Jeongguk's lips started traveling up to his ears;
completely forgetting that they shouldn't be doing this in the first place.

"Then why? Hmm?"

"J-Jeongguk..." Taehyung says, too embarrassed to answer.

"Can't tell me? Then wanna know mine?— Wanna know why I stopped chasing you, months
before graduation?" Jeongguk asks, tone a bit teasing this time, pulling back to meet Taehyung's
dazed and half lidded eyes.

"I—.."

"Oh, look at you... You wanna kiss me so bad, don't you?" Jeongguk says, and at this point, he's
pretty sure that he's wolf's taking over him.

"C-can't we just sleep? I- I'm tired..." Taehyung says, and god did that take him all of his will to
say what he just said and pull back from Jeongguk's hold; awkwardly lying on the bed, while
Jeongguk just followed him in silence, pulling close.

"Fine... Take your time. You got the whole weekend anyway to decide." Jeongguk says in full
confidence. For he knows... He just knows that after this,— he won't be able to let this stubborn
alpha go.

***

It's now 5 a.m. and Taehyung still hasn't slept a wink, thinking about how fast he allowed himself
to give in.— Or is it? We're they really moving fast, or is this just the results of all their pent up
emotions they thought they had already buried in the past?

Taehyung then carefully squirms out of Jeongguk's hold; the latter seems to be sleeping soundly
for hours now, not making a single move,— and Taehyung suddenly feels hot, remembering
Jeongguk's words and the damn deep tone that he used. He stares at Jeongguk's sleeping face,
feeling his heart beating rapidly again.

'Oh, look at you... You wanna kiss me so bad, don't you?'

"Damn you, really..." Taehyung says, cursing himself as he leans down, pressing a soft kiss on
Jeongguk's lips, savoring it as if memorizing how he tastes, before getting out of bed and getting
out of Jeongguk's place.

"Running away again, I see." Jeongguk mumbled under his breath, hearing the sound of his door
creaking open and closing again.

***

"Shit. Shit. Shit. I shouldn't have done that! Fuck! Oh god..." Taehyung then scolds himself as
soon as he walks home from Jeongguk's apartment. He's already a bit far from there when his
knees gave up on him, making him fall and sit weakly on the nearby bench, ruffling his hair all
frustrated.

Frustrated, because he just stole a kiss from Jeon Jeongguk. He kissed him, and not only that. He
also brought himself there, willingly. He submitted.— A pure-blooded alpha submitted to a fellow
alpha.— "Seriously? How humiliating... Ugh..." Taehyung groans, feeling his stomach twist and
turn, not because of Jeongguk but because of his disappointment in his own self.

It happened before as well. Back in Highschool, before Jeongguk came into the picture, Taehyung
could say that he's doing well. Sure his family always deemed him as the weaker link compared to
his brother Kim Taejoon who excels in everything without even trying. For Taehyung, he always
has to try and do his best to achieve something.

He trained his body to the point over passing out so he'll be good at his chosen sport, volleyball.
Then he had to sacrifice his sleep to maintain being first in class and to keep his flawless records.
All will probably bring joy to any 'normal' parents, but for the 'Kim's' it's not.— If one had to try,
then it doesn't count.

The Kim family are what one could call a very traditional alpha line. They believe in innate
capabilities and skills. They even judge a child for how they cry when they're still a baby and
probably that's when Taehyung first fucked it up, because unlike his brother who's stiff, cold,
smart and strong; Taehyung's a bit of a softie, maybe even a crybaby.— His family didn't like him.

Except for his mom, maybe?

But Taehyung kept on trying. Sure he may have received some disgusted looks from his father and
brother everytime the two caught him studying, but that's fine. For Taehyung, results matter more
than the process, that's why so long as he remains on the top spot he's fine.— He'll be fine.

Until Jeon Jeongguk happened. Filling up his youth with a pure kind of innocent bliss. He made
him happy just because of the simple things, like mangas, animes, computer games and the same
genre of novels they read after class at the library. Jeongguk felt like he's just like him in a
different body. Which made Taehyung ecstatic, because Jeongguk is an alpha too. For the first few
months while Jeongguk's still adjusting to his new school he always fall either at second or third
place under Taehyung, and he was fine with it. With Jeongguk even though he's an alpha it didn't
feel like a competition. So Taehyung allowed himself to enjoy a bit more,— to be happy a bit
more. Until 'a bit' became too much for his comfort.—

Until he started to fall.

Still, they remained friends, with Jeongguk letting Taehyung enjoy more of the innocent childish
romance and lingering touches. They eat lunch together and walk home hand in hand as if they're
on a date, and Taehyung soon forgets the kind of 'failure' he truly is. Taehyung's family liked it at
first. They commended Taehyung for not looking so pathetic anymore. He doesn't try anymore.

At nights, he just watches movies and series of Jeongguk's suggestions, which oddly suits his father
and brothers taste more than him locking himself, studying alone in his bedroom. During
weekends, he plays soccer and basketball with his father and brother as well, so that he could have
good stories to tell Jeongguk on Mondays when they see each other again.

It was a dream. Jeongguk made Taehyung feel like a normal alpha that is also accepted by his
family.

But then that cursed class ranking got posted and Taehyung saw himself falling behind, 20 points
below Jeon Jeongguk, which made Taehyung wake up from his dream and to the reality of who he
is and what he'll never gonna be.

Taehyung had never seen Jeongguk try. He's just playing games, reading fun books and watching
animes. But then, in the end Jeongguk's just like the Kim's.— He's good at everything without him
even trying.

After losing, Taehyung stopped trying all together. He stopped studying hard, stopped practicing
hard,— he stopped everything that's hard. He just lived his life, accepting the failure he has become
to not look more pathetic to his brother and his dad.

He started distancing himself to everyone, thinking that the less people he has around the less
people he got to please.

He left his family after highschool and lived alone in a separate apartment his mom bought for him
as a gift. His father didn't like it of course, but what's new? At least now, Taehyung didn't have to
spend everyday enduring their judgemental looks.

Then he saw Jeongguk again at Uni, and that started to confuse Taehyung again. He started
chasing Jeongguk to explain himself, because honestly, leaving the latter hanging is one of the
things Taehyung surely regrets.— Still, Jeongguk didn't let him. He treated him like a stranger for
two years, going three.—And now they're back at it again.

He's confusing the shit out of Taehyung again.

And what would his family think? What would they say, once they know that Taehyung has
completely lost his way? Sure he's not failing and his grades are somewhat okay, but him falling
for an elite, jeopardizing their family's rank authority? Oh god, he could already imagine his
father's face. He could already hear what he would say. —He would say that, that's exactly what
he's expecting from him, the weaker link.

"Shit... I'm so not doing this." Taehyung says to himself as he picks himself up, walking home,
locking himself there for the whole weekend.

***

"That's what I'm telling you, hyung! I wanted to talk to him, but then he refused to answer all of my
calls! We didn't have a fight,— no, we were fine last Friday night, then he left. I thought he just
needed a little more time and space to breathe and think, but I didn't expect him to avoid me all
together! Ugh... Seriously, it's like we're back to square one!" Jeongguk groans, talking with Joon
over the phone. He's already on his way to uni, and he wasn't able to reach Taehyung for the whole
weekend, so right now he doesn't know how to approach the latter or if Taehyung will even decide
to show up.

It could've been easier for him if they were at least able to talk before Taehyung went home, but
Jeongguk was too taken aback after Taehyung stole a kiss from him that he wasn't able to think
quickly, thus him letting Taehyung leave.

"Chill... Not everyone could think and decide for an hour, Guk. Not everyone's like you. Tae
probably had to just sit through it the whole weekend and maybe talk to you today, so don't
overthink and just get your ass here fast. Class's about to start." Joon says, since Jeongguk
graciously told him what happened at the school festival last Friday because,— well, everyone has
been talking about it through sns. How the straight A student council president went feral and
almost killed Song Chanwoo because of Kim Taehyung. So basically, Jeongguk had no choice but
to tell his friends the tea about it and maybe have 'em back him up Incase he'll be asked to explain
himself to the dean.

"Fine. I'll be there in five." Jeongguk says, ending the call as he continues to drive. Well, maybe
Joon's right. Maybe he's just overthinking again, and maybe Taehyung will talk to him today,— but
he didn't.

Taehyung basically shut him off for another two consecutive days now, keeping himself
surrounded by Jimin, Jin and some random omegas who keep on clinging to him. He kept on
avoiding Jeongguk, even when the latter used the excuse of them needing to do their project after
class, and Jeongguk's starting to feel that it's no use.— Taehyung has done it again.

He's leaving Jeongguk hanging again.

***

It's now Wednesday and Jeongguk's about to head home with a heavy heart. As usual, Taehyung
avoided him the whole day, and as much as he wants to push his way in, he doesn't want to scare
Taehyung farther away from him.

He does understand that what they're going through is a totally different case. It's hard for
Jeongguk too, everything's fairly new, but he knows that it's harder for Taehyung.

Jeongguk tried asking Jin, Jimin and Yoongi for help, but the three told him to give Taehyung
some time. Apparently they have all talked to Taehyung about what happened and Jeongguk
already filled them in with his piece. Everything's still vague, and that's why Jeongguk wants to
make things clear.

It happened way too fast. Just around two weeks ago Taehyung and Jeongguk were still far from
being friends, but then it all went to chaos as soon as they started interacting again.

As if the whole universe conspired to pull them closer together and mess up both of their minds;
making them relive the same shit they when they felt it the first time.— And Jeongguk's tired. He's
tired of holding back. He's tired from all the chase and charades they're playing, with both of them
pretending not to feel, wherein in fact, Jeongguk's sure that they're both feeling the same thing.

They can call him whatever they want, but Jeongguk feels it everytime Taehyung meets his gaze.
He saw it right through his eyes. He knew it from his scent. He felt his heart beat from his chest.
He wants him.—

Kim Taehyung wants him just as much as Jeongguk does.

"How long do I have to wait, really?" Jeongguk asks himself as he walks through the now quiet
hallways of their department building, and from there he stops on his tracks, glancing at one of the
empty classrooms on his side and finds Taehyung sleeping there.

'Hah... What are the odds?' Jeongguk thinks as he slowly walks inside, palm leaning against the
desk where Taehyung's face is now pressed.

"You just have to be everywhere, huh?" Jeongguk silently says; heart beating fast, feeling the cold
breeze passing through the open windows from outside.

Then, when the white curtains fluttered open from the wind, pink petals coming in, Jeongguk
leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on Taehyung's lips.

"You kissed me first... I'm just getting you back for it.— Now, we're even." Jeongguk says, leaving
the room with a rather pained smile on his face.

***

"Tae... How long are you gonna do this?" Jimin asks, since he dropped by Taehyung's place this
late at night. They all know what's happening and Joon told him that Jeongguk's really having a
hard time, while Taehyung still can't seem to make up his mind.

"What am I supposed to do, Chim? —A male alpha going for another male alpha basically means
that I'm gay in human terms.— I'm not gay, Chim. I don't even know how that would work..."
Taehyung says, emptying his nth glass of wine, like what he's been doing every night.

"*Sigh* First of all, there's nothing wrong with being queer. Second, have you forgotten that
Jeongguk is an elite? Gender norms, even for our kind, doesn't work for him." Jimin says, since it
is known that elite alphas aren't meant to breed, they are meant to lead. Even back in the olden
days, elite alphas went for the strongest wolf; male or female and made them their mate, leading up
the rest of their pack who are the ones in charge to procreate.

"T-then what will my family say? You know that if me and Jeongguk continue whatever the shit
between us is, then my family will have to submit to his. You know my dad, Chim... He'll disown
me for real... I— I'm scared. I know it sounds bullshit coming from me, but I'm scared... I'm shit
scared of everything." Taehyung says. Maybe it's the alcohol, or maybe he's just tired, but right
now he just wants to admit his weaknesses and bare it all.

"Oh, Tae... " Jimin couldn't help but just sigh in defeat, pulling Taehyung in his arms, letting the
alpha cry it all out.

It is indeed a complicated mess, and no one can really solve it aside from Jeongguk and Taehyung
themselves.

***
First period ended the next day and there's no sign of Taehyung coming in. Second and third came
and it's lunch time already, yet Taehyung's not here, and Jeongguk's starting to worry.

"Does he hate me that much for him to skip school?" Jeongguk asks, breaking the silence here with
Joon, Hobi, Yoongi, Jimin and Jin.

"Guk-ah..." Joon says, a bit concerned that Jeongguk may lash out while Taehyung's friends are
here with them.

"*Sigh* He doesn't hate you Jeonggukkie.... He's probably just nursing a bad hangover that's why
he's absent. He drank a bit too much last night, I had to clean up for him, first thing in the
morning." Jimin says. Well, he's friends with Jeongguk as well and even though he understands
Taehyung's sentiments, he kinda still hopes that the two would talk and patch things up.

"Hangover? Is he okay?" Jeongguk asks with a worried filled expression on his face.

"I'm sure it's nothing he can't handle.— But if you wanna check on him, y'know Mr. Jang favors
you a lot. I don't think he would mind if you miss his lecture this afternoon." Hobi says,
exchanging knowing looks with his friends.

"Y-yeah?" Jeongguk mumbled under his breath.

"Dorm 3, room 126." Jin says, and just like that Jeongguk's out of his seat and out of their sight,
while the rest of them exhale a sigh.

"You think they'll be fine?" Hobi asks.

"Well, I hope so... Maybe it's about time they figure their shit out." Yoongi says, holding Hobi's
hand, hoping everything will turn out okay.

***

"Oh god.... J-just fuck!" Taehyung hissed, slamming the hot pan he just burnt in the sink. He's just
trying to cook fried eggs for god's sake, but he ended up almost burning his whole place.

He skipped school today because he doesn't feel like going. His head hurts and still he doesn't
really know how to face Jeongguk. His friends probably think that he's being such a bitch, but
seriously? Deciding is nowhere near being easy.

Jeongguk hasn't even asked him anything yet, but deep inside Taehyung knows where it'll be
going. The longing glances and lingering touches were enough to drive Taehyung close to insanity,
he hasn't even had a proper sleep for days and anything more without him taking any breaks might
really make him lose it.

The charred pan sizzled when Taehyung opened the tap and filled it with water, making him cough
up such thick smoke that he wouldn't even be surprised if the fire alarm goes off.

"Fuck... I'm such a mess." Taehyung groaned as he let himself fall and sit on the floor, then he
heard the bell coming from his door. "Oh god... I really can't have a break, huh?" He says, pulling
himself up to welcome whoever his guest is, without even checking how he looks.

"Yes?" Taehyung says rather grumpily, as soon as he opens up the door.

"*Sigh* thank God, you look fine at least." Jeongguk says, sighing in relief upon seeing that
Taehyung thankfully isn't sick.

"J-Jeon Jeongguk..."

"Care to let me in? Or should I wait again for another week?" Jeongguk asks, leaning his side
smugly against the door frame, brows furrowed upon seeing the smoke that's starting to come out
from Taehyung's room.

"You're not planning to burn the whole dorm aren't you?" Jeongguk asks, while Taehyung still
remains frozen in place, chewing on his lower lip in embarrassment.

"J-just get in, Jeongguk." Taehyung says, sighing in defeat, figuring out that this time there'll be no
escape for him.

"D-did you eat? I can order us some pizza or something..." Taehyung says, turning to open the
windows so some of the smoke in the room could out, when Jeongguk suddenly grabbed him by
his arm, hand automatically landing at the dip of his back.

"Let's talk.— Seriously, Tae... We need to talk " Jeongguk says, and from this small distance
between them, Taehyung could see the dark bags and exhaustion under Jeongguk's eyes.

"I'm sorry..." Taehyung says, feeling guilty for running away these past few days and even today.

"I like you." Jeongguk suddenly says, not wanting to waste more time anymore, especially now
that Taehyung's here in his arms.

"J-Jeongguk..."

"You're so damn annoying and it pisses me off everytime. You're too loud and clumsy, that it's so
hard to ignore; not to mention that you're such a big fucking tease, making me break my own walls,
same as all the rules I have built to make myself appear perfect.— You keep on making me reveal
my flaws... But I'm down. I'm raising my white flag now.— You win. I like you Kim Taehyung. I
liked you before back in highschool and I like you even more now.— I'm tired. Say... Can we cut
the chase now?" Jeongguk says in low tone with little to no pause, meaning each of his words,
leaving Taehyung breathless; unable to talk, move and function all together.

"Y-you're crazy..." Taehyung says as Jeongguk's earthy scents of musk mixed with wild floras fill
up his senses.

"I may be... And so are you. You're crazy for leaving after stealing a kiss from me last weekend."
Jeongguk says, licking his lips with a rather shy but still cheeky boyish smile painted on his lips,
watching as Taehyung's whole face turns pink.

"Y-you were awake?" Taehyung asks, looking away from Jeongguk's deep gaze.

"Can't you say something more interesting than what I've already said, Kim?" Jeongguk asks,
tightening his grip on Taehyung's waist.

"Y-you're making it so hard, Jeon. You know we can't do this... I'm an alpha, and so are you... This
will never work the way you wanted it to."

"The way I wanted it to? Isn't that what you want as well? C'mon, Tae... Stop lying to yourself. I
can read you so well... Even your scent speaks more truth than the bullshit you're saying.— I like
you and I know inside that thick head of yours, you like me too. That's why you avoided me back
in highschool right? Because you were scared to face the truth that you're falling in love with the
new alpha kid in school..." Jeongguk says, staying true to his words, cutting the chase short by
spilling all his truth.

"H-how did you know that?" Taehyung asks, turning to meet Jeongguk's unwavering gaze;
pheromones getting stronger by the second.

"Because that's basically what happened to me, Tae. I avoided you because I was scared to admit
that I'm falling for you... But not anymore.— I'm not that stubborn pussyfoot anymore. I like you,
Tae. I like you so much,—more than you fucking know..." Jeongguk admits, and right now he
wants to scold himself for even waiting for them to get to this wherein saying it isn't really as hard
as he thought it would be. Telling his truth turns out to be fairly easy.

"M-my family will shun me for life. They're already not fond of me, and my dad will really lose it
if he knows that I'm going for an elite..." Taehyung says, hands reaching up to gently cup
Jeongguk's face while the latter melts into his touch, kissing the back of his palm.

"Your father? Kim Taewon?"

"Yeah... If you know his name, then you'll know what I'm talking about... That geezer won't bend
down to anyone." Taehyung says, hoping that Jeongguk will understand. It's not because he doesn't
want him, because Taehyung does. He wants Jeongguk so bad, but he knows that continuing this
will give them both a hard time.

"Kim Taewon whom I met at one of my dad's luncheons at Songpa-gu two weeks ago.— Pairing
me up with his son, Kim Taejoon so I could put up a good word for him and the sponsorship he's
been asking from my father for months now? I never really considered it, since Taejoon's not my
type,— though his second son might be able to change my mind."Jeongguk says, raising a brow
rather confidently at Taehyung whose eyes widened at what he just said.

"Are you serious?"

"Y'know I'm no liar, Kim... Sly maybe, but I don't lie... Especially when it comes to you. You need
not to fear anything, Tae... I got your back.— I got you." Jeongguk says, cupping Taehyung's jaw
with his hand, placing a soft peck at the tip of his nose, hissing when he heard Taehyung purr
faintly against his touch.

"Will we really be okay? I'm not some soft omega y'know? You might get tired of me eventually
—.."

"Hush now... I'm already tired of you for years... Still I'm here. I want you still.— So just shut up
and kiss me Tae... Seriously, just fucking kiss me already." Jeongguk whispers every word and
that's enough for Taehyung to close the gap between their lips, connecting it for a rather heated kiss
filled with longing, want and need.

"Who would've thought that the nerdy, cold and perfect Mr. President could be this sappy, hmm?"
Taehyung murmurs against Jeongguk's lips, as he pulls him inside his own bedroom, pushing
Jeongguk down the bed, eyes glaring red, finally casting his inhibitions aside. Finally letting go of
the fear that has been eating him up from the inside.

He wants this. He wants this man. He wants Jeongguk.

"Strip, Jeon." Taehyung says, pulling his shirt over his head, displaying his toned body covered in
luscious honey skin, making Jeongguk flash a smirk, pushing a tongue on his cheek before doing
what he was told, revealing all the intricate patterns of his tattoos under the damn shirt.

"Taking charge now, I see... Are you sure you can handle it?— Can you handle me?" Jeongguk
teases, grabbing Taehyung's hand and pulling him towards the bed, now hovering over the alpha,
baring his fangs, eyes burning in both black and red.

"What makes you think that I'd go under you, Jeon? Clearly between the two of us, I got more
experience in this field than you— o-oh! Nngh..." Taehyung let out a groan and a low moan when
Jeongguk chuckled before flipping him on his stomach with ease, raising his hips and breathing
right against the back of his ears.

"Says who? Huh?— Those nasty omegas who kept on throwing themselves at you at any given
chance? Pfft... Don't make me laugh, Kim. We both know that I'm more than capable of making
you satisfied..." Jeongguk says, gritting his teeth as he speaks, holding Taehyung's jaw, tilting his
head on the side so they can share another messy kiss.

"Nngh... S-so I guess, nerdy Jeon isn't a good boy after all, huh?" Taehyung smirks, before that
same smirk faded to naught when his mouth formed an 'o', eyes rolling back when Jeongguk
started rutting achingly slow on his behind.

"You of all people should know how bad I could get, Kim... So let's stop these damn charades
now, shall we?" Jeongguk says, turning Taehyung again on his back before pulling both his undies
and his sweatpants down, biting his lips upon seeing the great alpha Kim Taehyung be bare and
naked under him.

"Fucking sexy..." Jeongguk hissed.

"D-did you just curse?" Taehyung asks, scoffing in disbelief. He might've heard it before already
but that doesn't mean it makes it less than shocking.

"And if I did? What will you do? Tell the dean?" Jeongguk asks, running his hot palms over the
smooth skin of Taehyung's toned but still plump looking thighs.

"Oh... Maybe? Wonder what he would think once he heard that his favorite model student runs his
mouth rather filthily in bed with me..." Taehyung says, pushing himself up by leaving his elbow
against the mattress while his free hand grabs the base of his own cock, stroking it shamelessly in
front of the other alpha.

"Yeah? Do I?" Jeongguk asks, stepping back from the bed to take his pants off, leaving nothing on,
eyes never leaving Taehyung.

"I don't know... You tell me. You're the one who's being cocky here." Taehyung says, eyes burning
red, excluding more of his damn alluring scent.

"Aren't you enjoying yourself too much now, Kim?" Jeongguk asks, getting back on the bed,
kneeling in front of Taehyung who's feasting his eyes on his naked form.

"Y'know, the glasses don't really match with those abs and tattoos, Jeon..." Taehyung says, letting
go of his cock before going on all fours, face right in front of Jeongguk's sculpted stomach. He then
let his fingertips trace each dip and curve, glancing up with his sultry eyes at Jeongguk, who almost
immediately removed his glasses, throwing it somewhere on the floor.

"There, am I more to your liking now, your majesty? Or should I call you princess instead?Hmm?"
Jeongguk asks, eyes getting darker, glimmering more red at the center as he starts stroking his own
shaft, slapping his leaking tip against Taehyung's chin.
"Yeah... Y-you're so fucking hot..." Taehyung admits, basking in Jeongguk's strong scent as he
starts licking the latter's tip; suckling on it teasingly, coating his tongue with his rather different
taste. Different because unlike the other omegas that Taehyung has bedded, Jeongguk as an alpha
doesn't taste sweet. He's not a damn dessert, but more of a fucking full course meal.

"Surely, your big mouth could do better than that, right?" Jeongguk asks, looking down on
Taehyung as he takes the latter's jaw in his hand, while Taehyung almost instinctively opens his
mouth. "There... Nngh... That's more like it." Jeongguk says, pushing his hair back, moaning lowly
as Taehyung takes him deeper inside his mouth; tongue swirling around his shaft, while Jeongguk
enjoys the view and the damn hot and wet feeling of fucking Taehyung's mouth.

It's not really a secret that Taehyung's not new to sex. If anything, he's actually notorious for having
sex— a lot of sex, be it with betas or omegas who would all gladly bend down and take him whole,
but there's seems to be something different now with Jeongguk that makes Taehyung feels brand
new. As if he's just discovering what to do.

Jeongguk started thrusting inside his mouth, holding his face with both of his hands, setting up his
desired pace, which somehow managed to make Taehyung's cock be dripping wet, staining the
sheets of his own bed.

"You like that, huh? Pretty?" Jeongguk asks, caressing Taehyung's cheeks that's stuffed with his
cock, tears coating his long lashes, flushed face and swollen lips; Taehyung then pulls back with an
audible pop.

"..'m not pretty..." Taehyung says, as if he really didn't like the nickname, even though his heart
skipped a beat, cheeks blushing in even deeper hues of pink.

"But you are—.."

"Don't push it, Jeon... I-I'm not an omega... Pretty doesn't suit me." Taehyung says, which made
Jeongguk hiss.

"You are, when I say you are, Taehyung... Pretty even is an understatement for a man like you...
You're beautiful..." Jeongguk says, holding Taehyung's nape, claiming his lips once again, before
pulling Taehyung down with him on the bed, letting the other alpha hover over him as he lays with
his back on the mattress.

"Your turn, pretty..." Jeongguk says, guiding Taehyung so the latter would straddle his chest, cock
standing tall and proud in front of his face.

"W-what... I—.." Taehyung wasn't able to mutter a single word of protest when Jeongguk suddenly
licked his cock from base to tip, tongue teasing his wet slit. "Nngh... Oh, god..." Taehyung moans
rather loudly as Jeongguk takes his length inside his mouth, string hands cupping his ass, pushing
him further down.

Jeongguk then glanced up, watching as Taehyung's eyes rolls back, mouth hanging agape,
breathing heavily as he fucks Jeongguk's mouth, which made the latter even more riled up, taking
Taehyung even deeper, tip touching the back of his throat, making him gag a little.

"F-fuck, Jeon... You little slut... Nngh..." Taehyung continues to breathe out a series of pleasure
moans, fists grabbing Jeongguk's hair as he feels the latter's fingers digging into his skin, spreading
his ass cheeks apart, thumb grazing his hole in between.

"F-fuck... Fuck you Jeon..." Taehyung grunts, yet he doesn't pull back, he continues to thrust inside
Jeongguk's mouth, while Jeongguk smirks against his cock, letting the pad of his thumb run around
Taehyung's rim, feeling it twitch against his skin.

It didn't take long for Taehyung to feel the peak of his release. He tried pulling out but Jeongguk
grabs him even more hard, swirling his tongue against his shaft, until Taehyung let out a scream,
coming undone inside Jeongguk's mouth as the latter gulp down each drop of his thick hot cum,
before finally pulling back and out.

"Hmm... Not bad... Tastes sweet... You. Taste. Sweet." Jeongguk says, wiping the spit and cum off
of the side of his lips as he sat up, once again manhandling Taehyung with ease, turning the other
alpha around, back pressed against his chest, letting him feel his rapid heart beat.

"Y-you fucking keep on surprising me Jeon..." Taehyung says, lips curling to an exhausted smile,
coming down from his high, cock turning flaccid between his quivering thighs

"Oh... We're just getting started, pretty... I'm not done with you yet.— Far from it actually."
Jeongguk whispers, licking the shell of Taehyung's ear before baring his fangs.

"I wanna claim you... Can I?" Jeongguk asks, and at this point Taehyung thinks that he'll be crazy
if he dare say no.

"Nngh... Y-you want me, Jeon?— Think you can handle me? Hmm?" Taehyung continues to tease,
tilting his face on the side, smirking as he licks Jeongguk's lips.

"Wanna find out?— Try me, Kim." Jeongguk replies, unfazed as usual; pushing his cock between
Taehyung's thighs.

"F-fine... Claim me then, let's see if you can really satiate me..." Taehyung says, words rolling out
of his mouth breathlessly as he breaks into a moan once Jeongguk buries his fangs against the
sensitive skin of his nape, biting him hard as if he would never let him escape.

'Sweet...Sweet... Why the fuck is he this sweet?' Jeongguk asks in his thoughts, sucking a little of
Taehyung's blood off, head dazed and dizzy by the latter's scent and taste, clouding up his senses
so much that it's driving him insane.

"J-Jeongguk... Nngh... O-oh god... Nngh.." Taehyung then grunts, feeling his knees turn to jelly,
making him collapse, ass in the air, face pressed against the sheets; gasping as he suddenly feels
something warm and thick oozing out of his hole, making him even more weak.

"W-what the fuck?! W-what have you done to me? J-Jeon Jeongguk! O-oh god..." Taehyung's sure
that he's barely breathing right now, especially when he reached and touched his behind, feeling
such thick slick come out from him for the first time.

"Hmm... D-don't worry... It's temporary, baby...” Jeongguk says, scoffing all satisfied as he parts
Taehyung's ass cheeks apart, watching as the glistening slick slips out of Taehyung's entrance,
running down his thighs, glazing his honey skin more that it drives Jeongguk wild.

That's really the thing about Jeongguk's rank. Being an elite alpha that he is, who is meant to lead
and not to breed. Their kind are known to disregard ones rank and gender when choosing their
mates, and when it comes to sex, one bite on the nape is all it takes for an elite alpha to get all the
pleasures they need and want from their said mate.

Don't get him wrong, Taehyung is still an alpha of course. The result of the claiming bite is only
temporary, but will resurface during mating season for the said mate to meet the elite's needs.
"Fuck... You're so sexy..." Jeongguk once again hissed, as more slick ooze out of Taehyung's hole,
making it look so delectable for him to resist, that he leaned down giving the glistening pucker a
good lick; which then made Taehyung let out a broken scream, overwhelmed at the sudden
changes in his body.

He heard about the elite's capability to alter their mate's body depending on their needs, but
honestly he thought of it as nothing but a myth. Joke's on him now, I guess, since Jeongguk just
proved that it's no myth. He's making Taehyung, willingly submit.

"Mmnh... O-oh god... Nngh... J-Jeongguk..." Taehyung just kept moaning and moaning more,
feeling Jeongguk's hot tongue tease his wet hole. It's filthy really, but somehow the act still feels
achingly sexy that it's driving Taehyung more crazy.

"Like that? Hmm?" Jeongguk asks, placing another soft peck on the pucker before sliding a digit
in, letting his finger pass through the rim, making Taehyung's breath hitch, hands tightly grabbing
the sheets.

"Shit... You're so tight..." Jeongguk hissed, working his way in, thrusting his finger slowly, waiting
for Taehyung to relax a bit.

"O-obviously, you fucker... I— I don't take it from behind— agh!... Mnngh... Shit... O-oh god...
There! Do it again there!..." Taehyung then breaks again to another loud moan when Jeongguk hits
that spot, spiking his pheromones higher that it's now out of control.

"Hmm... Do you? Well, aren't you such a natural?" Jeongguk teases him more, thrusting his finger
again on Taehyung's prostate, curling it there before adding another digit in, enjoying the sound of
Taehyung's moans and shameless screams.

It only took a little while for Taehyung to get over that weird feeling of having something inside
him. Now, he's moving his own hips, matching Jeongguk's teasing thrusts; four fingers working
him up like damn magic that he couldn't possibly take any more of 'just' this.

"P-please... J-Jeongguk... Nngh... Please..." Taehyung pleads, looking back at Jeongguk, with his
blurred eyes drenched in tears.

"Please what, pretty?" Jeongguk asks, sucking a deep breath as he slowly pulls his fingers out.

"P-please... Just fucking fuck me already...." Taehyung says, choking on his own moans when
Jeongguk completely pulled his fingers out, making his hole twitch all hungry, pissed at being so
damn empty.— Not for long though, when Jeongguk finally aligned his cock against Taehyung's
wet hole, sliding his tip in and out in a teasing manner, letting Taehyung know that he is indeed
about to enter.

"By the way, I'm clean in case you're worried... Deep breath, baby...." Jeongguk says, before he
slides home, going slow and deep, filling Taehyung's dorm room with nothing but their pleasured
screams.

"O-oh god.... I— I think, I'm gonna rip-.."

"Sshh... You won't baby... You're taking me so well... Breathe okay? I got you..." Jeongguk
murmurs against Taehyung's ears, peppering the latter's neck with soft kisses, comforting him. He
stayed still, letting Taehyung adjust on being filled, while Jeongguk kept on praising him, thumb
massaging his hips, restraining himself so hard so he wouldn't move even a tiny bit.

"M-move... I— I'm ready now." Taehyung says, feeling Jeongguk's cock throbbing inside him.
"Are you sure?"

"J—just move... Please... M-make me feel good ." Taehyung says, and that's the only thing
Jeongguk needed to hear before he starts thrusting his hips, going all slow and steady, finding the
right pace, all while enjoying Taehyung's tight and hot walls suck him in from tip to base.

They kept grunting and moaning, eyes shining in their original hues of deep red, with Jeongguk
moving faster, filling the room more with that lewd sound of their slapping skins. Hands travelling
up on Taehyung's chest, teasing his nipples with his fingers, while Taehyung feels like he's starting
to lose his shit all together. Jeongguk keeps on pounding into him like the wild beast that he is in
bed; flipping him over, trying one position after the other and at one point Taehyung feels like
running away, fearing that his body might give up on him soon if they go at it like this without any
breaks.

"Hey... Where do you think you're going? Hmm?" Jeongguk grunts, grabbing Taehyung by the hip
when the latter starts to crawl away from him, only to have Jeongguk's hard cock be slammed again
inside him.

"F-fuck.... Nngh... G-Guk... S-slow down .. nngh... I— I already came twice... I'm— Fuck you, I'm
gonna die! Ahhgh... Nngh..." Taehyung cries, yet he still welcomes each of Jeongguk's hard
thrusts.

"Trust me... Nngh.. you won't, baby... You'll feel good with me..." Jeongguk says, pulling out as he
sat on the bed before guiding Taehyung towards his lap, feeling a bit generous to give the latter the
privilege of setting his desired pace.

"J-just a bit more... I need to cum too, y'know?" Jeongguk says as he nibbles Taehyung's nipple
between his teeth, guiding Taehyung's hips as the latter sinks down to his cock once again, taking
him full and deep.

"Nngh... Y-you're a beast..." Taehyung says, rolling his hips, thanking god that he played a lot of
sports, making him able to move despite the fact that his thighs are already shaking and he's now
tired beyond belief.

"Hmm... Am I?— aah... Shit... Just like that, baby... Ride me." Jeongguk moans, letting Taehyung
do his thing on top of him while he feasts his eyes at the magnificent sight of the beauty, fucking
himself onto him.

"Do it..." Jeongguk suddenly says, noticing how Taehyung's crimson eyes have been fixed at the
crook of his neck. "I know you want to... Claim me, Taehyung... I'm all yours." Jeongguk says,
thrusting his hips up, going faster and harder now, while Taehyung moans, head dropping over his
shoulder.

"A-as you should, you beast of a nerd..." Taehyung says, letting Jeongguk fuck him more, before
he bared his fangs and buried it deep on Jeongguk's nape as they both came undone, basking at the
euphoric feeling of being one. Connecting their lips again for a tired kiss as soon as Taehyung was
done leaving his mark on Jeongguk's skin.

They stayed connected as they lazily kissed, before Jeongguk pulled back and cupped Taehyung's
face, pressing the latter's forehead against his; eyes turning from black and red, back to it's usual
bright gentleness.

"Told you I like you right?" Jeongguk asks, voice hoarse from all the moaning and screaming they
just did.
"Hmm... Yeah, why? Are you regretting it now?" Taehyung asks as Jeongguk slowly shakes his
head.

"No.... But scratch that. I lied and I'm taking it back. I don't like you Taehyung.— I love you.... I've
been so fucking in love with you all this time." Jeongguk says, lips curling up to a defeated smile,
indeed raising all his white flags up now.

"Do you, now?" Taehyung asks, feeling such wild butterflies swarming inside his stomach after
hearing what Jeongguk just said.

"That's it? Shouldn't you be saying it back by now?"

"And what makes you think I'll say it back?" Taehyung continues to tease, making Jeongguk's
smile fade to a damn cute pout on his lips.

"Y-you won't?"

"Pfft... Say it again... Then, I might change my mind."

"I love you, Taehyung... I love you so much, so please just say it back... Say you fucking love me
back."

"Hmm... Fine, since you're begging so much... I love you too, Jeongguk. I'm so fucking in love
with you too."

"There... Now we're even.— For real... Finally." Jeongguk says, before they connect their lips once
again. Cutting the chase,—sealing the deal with another heated kiss.
