❖ Avari couture is a small
jewelry boutique in
Wembley, UK spread across
an area of 600 sq.ft

❖ Designed by Kate Watson


the project was completed in
2016

❖ This store is known for its


jewelry , shoe and handbag
collection.
CONCEPT OF THE STORE
❖ Elegance “ is the concept of this store . The elements used in the
interiors are simple yet powerful .
❖ Monochromatic colour scheme and simple geometric shapes adds more
to the concept .

FLOOR TREATMENT

❖ The floor has been treated


with some lightly
patterned tiles hereby
adding depth to the size of
the store .

❖ A rug can be placed to break


the monotony of the color
scheme and give a royal touch
to the store
WALL TREATMENT

• On two sides of the wall recessed


and free standing cabinets are
present . The entire wall has veen
covered with these customized
display units

❖ The wall behind the cash


counter is treated with
Faux brick panels and
dominating that area
CEILING

❖ The false ceiling is mostly with a niche in


the middle where the chandelier rests .
❖ A lot of ambient light has been used
which helps the customer to examine the
product easily

OVERALL INFERENCE

❖ The interiors of this store are


simple and might not attract the
customers due to its monotonous
nature . A new way of display or
introduction of new colours can
Make the store look more
interesting.

❖ Given a small Area of 600sq ft the


display quantity totally gives
justice to the design . It fulfils the
basic needs of the client

SWARN JEWELERS , PANCHKULA
❖ Swarn is a jewellery retail
store in Panchkula spread
across an area of 200m
square.

❖ The project was successfully


completed in 2018 by Studio
Ardete

❖ The store is mainly in the


business of gold and
diamond jewellery.
CONCEPT OF THE STORE
❖ “Swarn” in Sanskrit stands for Gold and that is what you find in their interiors
right from the entrance to the display.

❖ The thought was to make an articulated space for a retail setting featuring a
assortment of gems and adornments. To convey the possibility of - "Swarn",

❖ The design also meets the idea of the brands identity – Jewelry that defines
you by showcasing exclusivity and uniqueness and luxury.

FLOOR TREATMENT
❖ Two different floor treatments
have been used for both the
floors
❖ On the ground floor marble
tiles have been used for a
grand look and also adds gloss
to the texture of the store.

❖ Matt grey floor tiles used in the


basement floor helps to add
more emphasis on the display
units which are comparatively
more in the basement .
WALL TREATMENT
❖ The walls are provided with niches
which were made for singular
designer pieces, promoting a
higher albeit a kingly standard of
inheritance.
❖ Enclosed in a gold frame, the
displays attract an attention to the
details.

❖ Black vinyl sheet with


punctures ranging from
2-4 mm with backlit
acrylic sheet surround
the display in the
background.
CEILING

❖ For the ground floor a reflective


strech ceiling has been used in order
to reflect all the gold and give a look
of “rain of gold “
❖ Track lights and some unique
accent lights have been used

❖ For the basement the ceiling is


painted black to draw the least
attention so that the jewelry
display is what gets emphasized

the individualism.

OVERALL INFERENCE

❖ The interiors of this tore


being inspired from gold
does give justice with the
elegant color scheme and use
of different lights .

❖ At the same time use of a lot


of gold materials and
dramatic lights particularly
in the ground floor hinders
the display and the beauty of
the jewelery
