(This inspection is to be carried out every fortnight by the site safety Officer)

1. Is the ladder looking straight?

2. Is the ladder painted or dirty making it difficult to look

for defects?
3. Is there any sign of crack or bend in the stiles or
rungs?
4. Is there any knot big enough to suspect the stability of
the ladder?
5. Is the ladder long enough?
6. Is the ladder being locked to avoid displacement?
7. Is the ladder placed in such a way that there is about
1.5 m projection above the working platform, if it is
used as approach?

8. Ladder inspection colour code followed?

After the inspection, the ladder is approved/ not approved for further works.
