Development plan of Ward chairperson

Introduction: In the recent local-level election of 2022, we selected a visionary and dynamic
representative for feasible development in our ward. As a student, I decided to visit our ward
chairperson to ask him about his development roadmap for the coming 5 years.

Objectives:

1. To know about the development scheme and design of the ward chairperson for
coming years.
2. To put forward the critical ideas for further improvement in his development plan.

Methods of Study:

I completed my study using both primary and secondary sources of information about the
ongoing development scheme
1. Primary source: Respective ward chairperson of my ward
2. Secondary source: Election manifesto
Findings
1. Government-owned assets within the ward will be protected and will be utilized
for community development.
2. Proper management of water and electricity supply.
3. Providing assistance for disaster and calamities reduction.
4. Budget allocation in conducting vocational education training.
5. Development of small and cottage industries.
6. Access to internet facility for all.
7. Utilization of local resources for product development.
8. Introduction of a new system of rules and regulations for small businesses.
9. Plantation programs will be conducted.
10. Provision for family planning education for all.
11. Conduction of effective educational plans and policies.
Suggestions:
1. The ward chairperson must be actively involved in the implementation of formulated plans
and policies.
2. Proper budget allocation must be done without any corruption.

Conclusion:
The ward chairperson has made efficacious plans for the framework of development in the
coming years. His visions and plans are up to the mark. We community members are
optimistic that he will accomplish what he has planned for the betterment of our ward.
