Ans:
PARAGRAPH:
Only Include one Short Paragraph of (5 - 10) Sentences
A basic Paragraph consists of three main parts
Paragraph Structure , Topic Sentence , Supporting Sentence
Paragraph structure
1 paragraph is equal to
1 main idea = 100/150/200 words
Topic sentence
(the main idea in the paragraph
&
feeds into section/issue)
Supporting sentences
(evidence, examples)
Concluding/linking sentence

2 TYPES OF PARAGRAPGH:
DESCRIPTIVE
It means you are Describing something
when you do this must use wording that
you allow readers to be able to see what
you are writing without being able to
actually `see` it.
NARRATIVE
It means tells a Story ,Background / History of
anything. Of course Narrative Paragraph are
used in Fiction as a writer describe the
unfolding events but they are also found when
describing any actual activity.

Q.2: What is Critical-Thinking?

Ans:-
To think critically is to examine ideas, evaluate them against what
you already know and make decisions about their Problems. The aim of
critical thinking is to try to maintain an ‘objective’ position. When you
think critically, you weigh up all sides of an argument and evaluate its
strengths and weaknesses. So, Critical thinking skills entail:
 actively seeking all sides of an argument
 testing the soundness of the claims made
 testing the soundness of the evidence used to support the claims…

A basic essay consists of three main parts:
Introduction, Body Part, and Conclusion.

It is a Type of Essay that Describing It means tells a Story ,Background / History of
something, Person, place, Experience , anything. Of course Narrative Essay are told

A Descriptive Essay is more like a but these essays can be stories or sometimes
creative writing Assignment where you called `creative non-fiction`
describe something in detail.

Q.4: EVALUATION OF TEXT:

 Develop your analysis of the writer`s choices and their impact
on the reader
 Develop your evaluation of how successfully the writer has
achieved their intention and its impact on the reader.

Q.5: SUMMARY WRITING:

Def: to Summarize something in a short form.
 A summary begins an introductory senence
 A summary is written in your own words
 A summary is contain only the ideas of the original tesxt.
 Do not insert/include any of your own opinions ,
interpretations , deductions of comments into a Summary.

Q.6: KEY POINTS FROM PASSAGE:

Main ideas are often found at the beginning of paragraph. The

first sentence is called key point of passage.
Main ideas are also found in the concluding sentences of a
paragraph that explain the subject being discussed in the
passage.
