REFLECTION

MACALIANO, ALLIAH CLHIERRE A.

Entrepreneurship can be a rewarding but challenging path to take. It requires

vision, determination, and the ability to take risks. As an entrepreneur, you have the
opportunity to create something new and bring your ideas to life, but you also bear
the responsibility of building and growing a successful business. This can involve
long hours, hard work, and the ability to adapt and pivot as necessary.

One of the key qualities of a successful entrepreneur is the ability to identify

and pursue new opportunities. This may involve spotting a gap in the market or
finding a unique solution to a problem. It also requires the ability to think creatively
and find innovative ways to solve problems. Another important aspect of
entrepreneurship is the ability to build and lead a team. I have learned that as an
entrepreneur, you will need to assemble a group of people with the skills and
expertise necessary to help you achieve your goals. This includes hiring, training,
and motivating your team, as well as effectively managing and delegating tasks.

Ultimately, entrepreneurship is about taking control of your own future and

creating the life and career you want. It can be a challenging and unpredictable
journey, but for those who are willing to put in the hard work and take calculated
risks, it can also be incredibly rewarding.
18

REFLECTION

GERASMO, GWYNETTE C.

Entrepreneurship was something that both excites me and agitates me. As it

was introduced to us, I felt like being introduced to a new perspective as well. It
taught me a lot of things that really come in handy during various situations. It was
not something that I needed only academically, but also it was a necessity for me to
learn new things that can aid me in situations I may not expect.

The whole process of creating our own unique product was admittedly
stressful. However, it taught me a lot about maximizing my ability to innovatively
create a concept. Moreover, as we were in the process of product experimentation
and testing, I saw and realized how essential effective manhandling is. The first
moments with my group were great; however there are times that made us all realize
how we could have handled each other and our tasks better. During the processes
before the selling activity took place, I realized a lot of important things when it
comes to proper handling of budget with regards to the expenses we incur. Lastly,
during the official selling days, I realized how important great communication and
comprehension skills are. A good communication is not the only thing we need, but
also the ability to comprehend everything, and respond accordingly.

Hence, with all the lessons I’ve taken with me from the subject, I greatly
realized the beauty of pursuing entrepreneurship and business. It may not have
completely changed my desire for my chosen course, but it really made me consider
the opportunities of being an entrepreneur in the future. The months spent learning
the art of Entrepreneurship were really times well spent for me. Although it was very
stressful and tiring as well, it was something that I would repeatedly go back in mind.
It was a worthwhile experience that may have lasted for a short time, but imparted
with me very great lessons.
19

REFLECTION

MAJAROCON, JANE M.

Entrepreneurship refers to the process of creating a new enterprise and

bearing any of it’s risk, with the view of making the profit. And the person who
creates a new enterprise and embraces every challenge for it’s development and
operation is known as entrepreneur.

I learned the value of hardwork by working hard throughout my

entrepreneurial experience. This opportunity adventure taught me that starting a
business is a serious undertaking. It showed me how to be a responsible individual. I
have a lot ideas that I can apply in the future. The moral lesson that I get in this
subject is “Everything will fall into place you just gotta be patient and trust the
process,” all of the efforts and hardworks that you give on your product or business
will be paid off someday. At the end of the day, what you fought so hard for, will
benefit you and yourself.
20

REFLECTION

PEREZ, CARL JANE B.

Entrepreneurship is one of the few life skills that can be learned by anyone. It
is also a skill that can be taught and practiced at any age. Entrepreneurship is simply
performing a job that you love, while making money in the process. This can be done
through market research, forming a company, or starting your own business.

Proposing our product takes a lot of time since we need to think a product that
is unique. With this challenge, I learned to be patience that things don’t always
happen right away or at this moment. I also learned how to manage my time wisely
and give myself the proper amount of time to do things. This has been really
beneficial in my life because I am at a point where I have less stress and more
control over my own schedule, which allows me to spend more time with my family
and studies. My experience in bazaar has also taught me to be sociable and to be
manageable. First, sociable because it helped me develop my social skills making
me more confident when it comes to meeting new people. As a shy person, it is
always a challenge for me to engage and communicate with strangers even they are
my school mates. But then, when this bazaar happened it improved my
communication skills and also allowed me to feel more comfortable in public
situations. Second, manageable because it also help me to saved money by
teaching me how to get more for less by managing expenses. Since I am one of a
financial manager in our group, handling a money is always a challenge for us
because sometimes we can’t avoid the circumstances when the commodities are
rising and it is difficult to manage the money if the prices of these commodities are
unstable. However, we still found ways to overcome this problem and to avoid profit
loss.

Entrepreneurship gives us the opportunity to grow, learn, and develop

ourselves through our own success. We can take an idea or concept and make it
successful, but this does not have to be limited up to that. Anyone can be an
entrepreneur in today’s world and we should make use of this education by being
flexible as we grow as individuals.
21

REFLECTION

GUILI, NORHANA D.

This experience has taught me that entrepreneurship is hard work but also
incredibly rewarding. It has also taught me that success comes from hard work and
dedication, and that it takes consistent effort and resilience to make a lasting impact
in your industry. Additionally, it has taught me the importance of creating strong
communication and cooperation to build strong relationships with other
entrepreneurs. Finally, it has taught me that failure is part of the learning process
and that it is important to learn from your mistakes and use them as a platform for
growth.

Based on these learnings, I aim to create a business that will make a lasting
impact on the industry and benefit society. I want to be an innovator in my field and
use my skills and knowledge to create something unique and valuable. I am excited
to pursue entrepreneurship and all the potential it has to offer. I am confident that,
with commitment and dedication, I will be able to make a lasting impact and achieve
success. Best of luck to me on my journey!

REFLECTION

PENDON, SHELOU

Entrepreneurship help me as a student become independent and channel my

creativity into creating something of my own in this competitive world. Studying
entrepreneurship enhances one’s analytical and logical skills that enable one to
solve any problem, and it’s help me how to collaborate and work with a team…

How to speak in public and prepare an effective presentation

How to collect and analyze data

How to use social media as an advocacy tool

How to solve real, complex problems that don’t have a definitive answer

How to use curiosity and creativity to find an innovative approach to difficult

problems

Students, Being an entrepreneur should not be just about making money, but
also making a difference. It should be about making life better not only for ourselves,
but for others as well Entrepreneurs are leaders. This means they should be able to
impart positivity with their employees

One thing to remember about entrepreneurship is that failure is not the end of
everything, but the chance at a new beginning. You can’t set down this path and
expect not to fail once or twice. If you start knowing that along the way you will
encounter failure, you will be better off.
