A RESOLUTION CREATING FIVE (5) PUROKS IN BARANGAY OCHO (8) , “AN

ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GUIDELINES IN THE ORGANIZATION OF
PUROKS”.

        WHEREAS, the City Government of Malaybalay acknowledges the participation of puroks to

improve  their community development , making them more effective partners in the progress and
development as a whole;

        WHEREAS, because of the large increase of population there is a strong possibility that the number
of puroks that will be created or organized will correspondingly increase also;

        WHEREAS, due to this scenario there is a need to increase the number of puroks from three to five

        NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay 8 to create a new

puroks.

        RESOLVED FURTHER, that the counting of months moratorium  shall commence  on July 21,
2014

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned offices

for their information and guidance.
