    Home security is essential for ensuring that an individual's home is secured from
    any potential access of intruders. This study aimed to design and create a Household-
    based Monitoring using NodeMCU for Home Security System. Experimental and
    descriptive methods were used to determine the effectiveness and acceptability level.
    Overall, the total average weighted mean of Household-based Monitoring using
    NodeMCU for Home Security System was 4.09, which was verbally interpreted as
    agree. The level of acceptability of Household-based Monitoring using NodeMCU for
    Home Security System had an overall total weighted mean of 4.0, which was verbally
    interpreted as acceptable. Based on the findings, it is concluded that the product
    Household-based Monitoring using NodeMCU for Home Security System was effective
    in monitoring and motion detection. The system can also be easily upgraded to add
    extra safety features such as cameras for increased safety.
