This study intends to investigate the factor affecting students in choosing course for tertiary education. There are
many factors could be considered in selecting courses like quality education, the people from the environment,
personal choice and accessibility of the school from student`s residences. This study utilized a descriptive type of
research method with Grade 12 students in PNTC Colleges Dasmarinas as respondents. Students career success can
be best attained if proper guidance is given in choosing the right course in college.

Respondents
-Respondents are those persons who have been invited to participate in a particular study and have actually taken
part in the study.

And the only person's who can be invited in this study is the grade 12 students of PNTC COLLEGES

Research instrument
The researcher used survey questionnaire in conducting the study. The survey questionnaire is administered and to
determine the factors affecting the higher education preference of tvl grade 12 students of PNTC Colleges.

Part I. It deals with the demographic profile of the respondents as to:

a. Age

b. Grade and Section

c. Gender

Part II. On the form, the questions are basically to know the factors affecting the higher education preference of
learning and performance of the respondents.
