Overview of the Week’s The Five days’ referee clinic was designed as an accreditation program for

The content of the program is to conduct theory session, where they learn
the rules of the game, and practical session where the referees are to
officiate as 1st and 2nd referees and identify faults and apply the respective
hand signal applicable to the faults being committed.
The assessment for the accreditation of the referees was based on how
competent they are during theory and practical sessions.

Recommendation:
 The possibility of providing the necessary tools for the participants for effective refereeing
(sanction cards and whistle) at the completion of the program.

Conclusion:
The ETE program attracted 15 participants that were trained as Community referees. The interest
shown by the participants and diagnostic assessment conducted at the beginning of the session,
indicated that the problem faced in their communities are the lack of knowledge and
misinterpretation of the rules.
The newly accredited referees will bring changes and definitely assist in sharing the knowledge
acquired during the program for the betterment of the sport.
