DETAILS ABOUT THE ASSISTENCE OF THE LINE MAINTENANCE

SPARE PARTS REPLACEMENT

For the spare parts replacements you must use exclusively ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS that have been
authorized by the maker.

You must not wait till the parts are worn down by the use. Replacing a part at the proper time means a
better functioning of the line and at the same time a saving due to the fact that you have avoided some
bigger damages.

TECHNICAL SERVICING

NOTE:

For any maintenance work, repairing and so on, you must employ only SPECIALIZED STAFF or
address to the TECHNICAL SERVICING SERVICE.

The firm “FERRARO S.p.A.” places its own TECHNICAL SERVICING SERVICE at its customer’s
disposal to resolve any problem relative to the use and the maintenance of the line.

RESERVATION:

The firm “FERRARO S.p.A. doesn’t guarantee the repairings and isn’t responsable for the damages
that can result when these repairing have NOT been made by its staff.

SERVICING DEMANDS

The eventual demands must be done after a diligent analysis of the problems and of their causes.

In case of written demands, pls, specify in the message the following:

• Machine model
• Part. Number
• The description of the problems you noticed
• The controls you made
• The regulations you made and their effects
• Any other useful information

MACHINE DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION

1) Feeding cylinder. Motorized cylinder to convey the fabric to the shrinking machine.
2) Accumulation cradle. Chute which accumulates the fabric before the inlet into the shrinking
machine.
3) Fabric-stretching cylinder. Manual variable inclination cylinder creating a light tension of the fabric
before stretching it.
4) Stretcher unit. Automatic device to stretch the fabric.
5) Vaporizer. Device for fabric humidification before shrinking.
6) Introduction unit and front shrinking. Front device to iron and shrink the fabric.
7) Load cell cylinder between the first and second unit. Device for speed regulation between the
first front shrinking unit and the back one.
8) Introduction unit and back shrinking. Back device to iron and shrink the fabric.
9) Load cell cylinder. Speed regulation device between the shrinking machine and the folder.
10)Cooling unit. Device to cool the fabric through sucking fan.
11)Rolling up unit. Fabric rolling up device.
12)Stretching cylinders. Adjustable flattening cylinders fit for stretching the fabric in folds.
13)Unloading platform. Automatic lowering platform with unloading device without stopping the
machine.
