The objective of the conference is to deliberate on advanced-psychological-based
support by providing a viable forum to all the academicians, scientists, scholars, students and technicians working in the area of mental health and well-being of the defence personnel. Mental health is important for the military community which is the reason behind the establishment of a separate psychological wing in the Indian Defense service. Safeguarding the mental health through emotional balance and mental hygiene of the military community takes an important position in terms of research, training and practice of Mental health. Henceforth this conference ventures to create a robust platform for conducting seminars on biopsychosocial paradigms of the armed forces in the national scenario and strategies to assess and bolster them. Additionally, workshops will be conducted on the operationalization of the Mental Health Care Act 2017 in the Armed Forces and Neuromodulation, debate and poster/ oral presentations will be presented by residents and delegates across pan India to harness their minds towards the noble purpose of national development at large.
